Very easy to redeem the voucher as we just had to scan it at the museum. The same procedure for the cruise. I wouldn't choose the cruise option again though as I thought it was not giving me the value for the money paid. Only good part was the twinkling Eiffel Tower view from the cruise and the rest were not that impressive. But Louvre was amazing. I thought we could cover the important pieces in 2 hours, but couldn't. So plan well ahead and get an idea of where the pieces are if you don't want to lose time searching for these on site.
Both activities were enjoyable and easy to locate. At the Louvre, you will see someone holding up the sign with what timeframe they are allowing in. When it’s your time, you go through pretty quickly without waiting in the long line on the other side. The river boat cruise was exactly where the directions indicate…. Find the Eiffel Tower and the boats are right there on the river… couldn’t be any simpler! Make sure you have tickets ready to be scanned… my electronic code on my phone worked fine!
We took the boat cruse at night and it was really nice, everything is lit up and you might be able to catch the Eiffel Tower sparkle (but it does sparkles every hour on the dot at night for 5 mins). The lourve security was quick although we booked a time slot we were able to go later. The lourve is huge, we only saw the Egyptian section and the tuillels gardens. You need a good 5 hours to see everything in the museum. There’s a shopping mall underneath the lourve also
Our tickets got us right into the Louvre and also allowed us to avoid the long lines to buy a ticket once you are inside the museum. I recommend getting an audio guide. It was only 5 euro and really added to the experience. It has it's own guided tours or you can just choose paintings to learn more about them. The cruise was also very nice. We went at night and it was easy to find and board.
We loved both of these events. Had some trouble downloading the ticket at the Louvre bc of my email but a quick chat fixed it and we were thankful. The riverboat near sunset gave us great photos. The Louvre was packed and crowded but we got to jump close to the front in a quick access line. Best of all though was our Eiffel Tower Tour with Tilly. She was the best guide ever!!! Knew so much.
The boat tour was fun and nice to sit and see the city. The Eiffel Tower took a half hour to get on 1st elevator, 45 minutes to get on Summet elevator, another 20 minutes in line to go down to lookout. Then another wait of 30 minutes for another elevator. We spent more time in lines with our ‘skip the lines’ tickets than enjoying the Tower itself.
Last minute booking as all tickets sold out on Louvre official site for the time slot we needed. Booked the bundle of Louvre tickets at the time we wanted as well as the boat trip. Long queues but we sailed in with the reserved time tickets. And even better, the Seine mini cruise is valid for six months so we have an excuse to return! Brilliant.
It was very nice, we booked tickets for Louvre two days prior our visit, which was a little miracle. The visit was amazing! Afterwards we went to the cruise, that passes several bridges and had an audio guide, we got lucky because the boat was huge and we could sit on top floor and better enjoy the experience. It was amazing, I recommend it.
You’ve probably heard this a lot, but the Louvre is truly unbelievably big. You will never see everything in a single day, so choose your rooms carefully. It is the most outstanding museum in the world though and I loved it. The river cruise was also very fun and leisurely. Highly recommend.
