Montmartre & Musee d'Orsay Skip-the-Line Guided Trip
The Impressionist movement's beginnings are the subject of this five-hour tour.
Start at the Orsay Museum, where you can skip the line and immediately enter the main collection of Monet and Cezanne artwork. The impressionists' homes and surroundings can be seen in the Montmartre neighborhood, which is the next stop.
The tour includes transportation between the two locations and can accommodate up to eight guests. This tour for a small group will connect the artwork at Musée d'Orsay to Montmartre, the neighborhood where the majority of its artists lived. Take a trip back in time to the 19th century, when artists enjoyed absinthe in cafés and cancan dancers kicked high. Explore the cobblestone streets that run between the Moulin Rouge and the Sacré Coeur basilica, which is thought to have been the home of the Impressionist art movement.
Typical highlights include: if the artwork is not being restored or loaned.) Moulin Rouge, Manet's Luncheon on the Grass, Sacré Coeur Cathedral, Renoir's Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette, Vincent Van Gogh's house, Moulin de la Galette, Monet's Poppy Field and Waterlilies, Van Gogh's Bedroom in Arles.
