Your licensed guide will take you through the Hradčany district and tell you stories as you learn about the history of Prague Castle and its surroundings. The Erninsky Palace, Loreto, Schwarzenberg Palace, and a host of other landmarks in the Hradany district will be highlighted for you by your tour guide, who will also tell you interesting historical tales and facts.

You will receive your ticket and a map when you enter the Prague Castle complex. This will allow you to plan your individual visits to St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, and St. George's Basilica. Without having to stand in long lines to purchase your ticket, you will be able to enter Prague Castle. After the introduction tour, you will also receive an admission ticket to Prague Castle Circuit B, allowing you to explore the interior at your own pace.

What to bring:

Comfortable shoes are recommended as well as an umbrella in case of rain.

Not a tour of the castle complex. Entry ticket, an explanation of the major different areas and seeing the changing of the guards. Also get an official audio guide from the castle complex office opposite the cathedral front doors rather than the lousy downloadable one recommended by the guide. The guide was nice though.
