Details

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel.Discover the unique and rare sights of Cubism in architecture and the beautiful Art Nouveau style of Prague city center. As Prague was developing and becoming richer during the second half of the 19th Century, companies, banks and wealthy real estate owners wanted to show off their new status. As a result, many buildings were reconstructed or enlarged in the new architectural styles from the 1880s to 1914. Your guide shows you the best examples, rare pieces and magnificent buidlings in the Old Town and the New Town built in the new styles.

Cubism in architecture is something that you won't find easily in any other city around the world. Your guide will show you the great examples of Cubist buildings and other street elements in the center of Prague. After the tour, you can go to the Museum of Czech Cubism by yourself.

Art Nouveau was becoming pretty popular, you will pass by for example the Municipal House, buildings at Wenceslas Square, National Avenue and Old Town Square or Jewish quarter. After the tour, you can visit the Museum of Alfons Mucha, a leading Art Nouveau artist.
