Take a guided tour of the world's most famous amphitheater. Learn about the fascinating history of the Colosseum by using tickets that let you skip the line. Walk on Palatine Hill and through the Roman Forum with your guide to see some of Ancient Rome's most famous landmarks.

Begin your tour by taking in the Colosseum's exterior. Pay attention as your tour guide describes the monument's history over the centuries. After passing through a security check, enter the Amphitheater and view the spectacular events that took place there. After that, go to the first floor and look around.

Stop for a moment in front of the impressive Arch of Constantine as your guide talks about its most important features and history. To get to Palatine Hill's entrance and the Roman Forum, take the ancient Via Sacra. Admire the Arch of Titus up after the security check.

Continue the tour to Palatine Hill, where the oldest city settlement's ruins can be found. Take a tour of some of the most important imperial mansions: the Domus Flavia, the Domus Augustana, and the Palatine Stadium.

The Roman Forum can be found in the valley if you descend next. The magnificence of the Basilica of Maxentius, the bronze door of the temple of Romulus, the curious suspended door of the temple of Antoninus and Faustina, the temple, and the house of the Vestals are just a few of the magnificent sights that can be found along the Via Sacra.

Finally, make your way to the Roman Forum's central area, which has developed over time into the ancient city's political, religious, economic, and legal hub and square. Admire and learn about the Curia, Septimius Severus' Arch, the Tabularium, the Saturnian temple, and more here.

Took us around colosseum explained everything. The lower part was not accessible. Enough times for photos. Next stop was palatine hill and roman forum but once it ended we had only access to palantine hill and roman forum. If we wanted to go explore more of colossesum that was not possible as guided tour ends.

We had Louana (not sure if I've spelt that right). She was lovely and had a good sense of humour. The tour was great - the highlight of my trip to Rome (though the night tour the previous day was fab, too). Lou gave us lots of good info and the handy in-ear earphone was useful because you could hear her clearly and turn her up or down! Fascinating tour - we really enjoyed it. There was a lot of walking, so wear flat comfies!

Fantastic tour! Alessandra was an amazing guide who kept the whole group engaged and really brought the material to life. She even kept my two children (9 and 11) spellbound for the whole 3 hours! We had only booked a tour as we could not otherwise get tickets for the colosseum but we are so glad that we did the tour instead of by ourselves.

Booked a tour of the coliseum in Rome for 6 of us. Our tour guide was a lady called Alessandra. She was one in of the best tour guides I’ve ever experienced. She is very passionate about the Roman history, so animated, informative and gets everyone involved. We all really enjoyed it. Thank you Alessandra!

Very good guided tour with all the historical information needed. You go to colosseum, then palatin and you finish with the view on roman forum while the history is being expalined by your guide. Next, you are free to roam around roman forum by yourself.

5 stars from our group! It was the best idea to get this ticket, I definitely recommend it to everyone. Antonia is a wonderful guide - she made history come alive, she was informative, comprehensive, fun and amazing with the group. I'm sure all guides are great, but if it's possible, ask for Antonia :)

The tour was great. Luana (not sure if I heard that correctly but she also spoke French and German) was an amazing guide. The history she gave in each sites and the stories/myths about Ancient Rome were so fascinating. It was just the right amount of time to explore the sites.

If you've never done a guided tour before then I highly recommend that this tour be your first. You won't be disappointed. This was my first time and it was absolutely brilliant. Our guide Alessandra was exceptional! She was so friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, energetic and funny. She made the whole experience. Keeping the whole group engaged throughout. She is an absolute credit and you won't be disappointed if you are lucky enough to have her as your guide. Great experience, great value for money.
