Colosseum Tours & Tickets

We did the dome climb tour with Massimo as our guide, if you get Massimo too, you'll be sure to have an amazing tour! He was warm welcoming and very entertaining! And we learnt lots along the way too! There was a fair bit of queuing to get into St Peter's Badillica, but the views from the top of the dome (and inside the church) were definitely worth the wait. The Sistine Chapel is a must see too! Thank you Massimo for a fun and fascinating visit!

We had a great tour! Our guide Ginie, was so knowledgeable and shared fabulous stories which made the tour come alive. We were a large group but Ginie managed the size expertly and ensured we all felt included. Of course it was busy and hot at the Coliseum but we stopped often and left feeling well informed. A definite !

Amazing, Damian is the best tour guide we have ever had, so very knowledge, his amazing story telling of the history of the Colosseum, was fabulous, every so often with humour which made the tour perfect, engaging with the group, just perfect, from the TALL man and short Italian woman with family in Calabria, very well done, big thank you… Ciao

We chose a tour that included the underground area of the Colosseum. Also chose the tour that meant very little queuing and was advertised as a small group. We ended up being a tour of 4 people plus our guide Maya. It was an excellent tour made more interesting by our well informed local guide Maya.

The tour was great and walked through a lot of historical sites of Rome. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and explained in depth about various parts of the history of Rome + archeological sites and such. I would recommend this tour, very cool and informative!

Patrick was a superior guide who was able to keep our large group all together, even when 2 guests had mobility issues. He was funny, informative, patient, and it was the best tour I’ve ever had. I was skeptical about the headsets at first, but they turned out to be wildly useful.

I’ll never forget my first time seeing the Colosseum. Even though it was pouring rain, we enjoyed our tour with our guide Lou. Lou gave so much detail on Roman history and was very interactive and funny. I felt very welcomed by her and she did a great job. Would definitely choose this company again.

Excellent educational tour. Tour guide appeared very passionate and knowledgeable. Colosseum was awesome. Due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to do the underground tour but staff were very apologetic and gave good explanation. Palantine Hill also a must do - amazing views.

A really informative and interesting tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The guide was very knowledgeable but set a fast pace as there was so much to see and so much to tell us about. We learned far more than we would have done just wandering around on our own. We definitely recommend this tour.

Took us around colosseum explained everything. The lower part was not accessible. Enough times for photos. Next stop was palatine hill and roman forum but once it ended we had only access to palantine hill and roman forum. If we wanted to go explore more of colossesum that was not possible as guided tour ends.

Fantastic, friendly and knowledgable tour guide called Laura Antonucc! She was engaging, entertaining yet highly informative and captivating. We got through security swiftly and missed the queues. They meet you at bottom of the Arc de Constantine. Would highly recommend!

Eni was literally a fountain of information about the history of the Colosseum and its environs. He is a an exemplary tour guide who has been continurally learning for the past 10 years. I can't imagine having a better guide. I am certain he told us things that nobody else would notice or know. We had enough time to stop and take photos; he was sensitive to the needs of everyone and answered all our questions.

We had a great time seeing the colosseum. Our guide Lucia was great! We went on a Sunday. Keep in mind the other museums are closed on Sundays so this is the busiest day for the colosseum. If your going on Sunday you will not see much without a guide, it is way too packed.

Augustino was a fantastic tour guide! He was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor, keeping us all entertained and at ease. The tour process was smooth and the headsets worked great. Loved the ease of getting around these 3 areas with guidance and minimal waiting. Would highly recommend this tour and guide!!

The tour and guide were great and entertaining. The guide had a good knowledge of the three areas and helped us to avoid the crowds. The tour included the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and ended in the Forum, quite a bit of walking but it was interesting and well presented. The guide stopped us regularly to suggest photograph locations and for water stops... which was helpful.

We had a very knowledgeable guide - Alessandro - who quickly moved though some technical challenges to give us a very thorough commentary of the Forum, Palatine Hill and Colosseum. It was enjoyable but a lot to take in and left us all a bit overwhelmed and exhausted… better that than the alternative! Highly recommend but suggest making it the only activity that day .

This was a very in-depth tour that was informative and gave great photo opportunities around the Colosseum and atop Palatine Hill overlooking the Roman Forum. Tour guide was enjoyable, patient yet moved the group along in a timely fashion and was able to answer all questions.

My wife & i visited underground sep 2022 thought it was a great experience feel it could of been better with a differant guid (for us she just spoke to much most being long) we like facts imagination feel the history, so in a nut shell great tour with the right guid .

We had a wonderful tour around the Coliseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum on Friday 30/9/22 with Dennis. Dennis was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic & passionate about the history of the Romans. It truly was one of the best tours myself & husband have had. We would both definitely recommend! 5 stars
