Awesome tour! I enjoyed discovering the real Venice and learning about the city's unique history. I recommend this tour!

It was a very pleasant shared gondola ride. Be warned in case you only want to go with your partner, each gondola has 4 people. The tour guide provided a short history of the gondola in English and Spanish on the walk to the gondola. The meeting point is right off of St Mark's Square and is in a convenient location for the average traveler who is already in the area.

We thought that we would have the gondola to ourselves, but we shared it with another couple, which wasn't a big deal. But the other couple rushed into the gondola to grab the nice seats closer to the gondolier, so we weren't able to take any pics there. Overall though, I would recommend, but just know that you'll be sharing the gondola ride with up to 5 people max.

You can't see Venice without gondolas. Gondola ride is an absolute must, unbelievable how they push the long boat through the canals with those sticks, without hitting anything. It's a pity that the gondolier didn't tell much and certainly didn't sing O sole mio. A little more enthusiasm there would have been great. And the chance to take a photo with your partner as you board

The walking part leading up to the gondolas was interesting and fun, learned a lot about the city and the tradition of the gondola!! The only negative about the whole thing was that our guide got us to the gondolas and left all of our groups, they were running behind and it became a little chaotic and we had no advocate for our groups. Otherwise was fantastic!!!

Overall very good. A bit chaotic when the guide was trying to organise a group of about 50 people onto the gondolas though.

Fun trying different routes to get places. Walking is probably faster, but it was relaxing to know we could always hop on the vaporetto if tired.

I booked the ticket here in advance and it worked great :) We just went to one of the yellow machines in the parking garage (Troncheto). We just had to scan the QR code and within minutes we had our tickets. So we were able to get on at the vaporetto station and off to the post office (please validate the ticket beforehand at the stations for each trip)

It´s just very comfortable to just get your ticket and then use the public transportation (water taxis) whenever you like.

This was a great way to see Venice and very convenient method to get home. Be aware that '48 hours' means midnight to midnight, not from the first time you use the voucher. the process is very easy to convert your tickets and will save you time as the manual ticket sellers can get into pfaffing mode and waste your time. if you have a ticket you just go straight through to the waiting area

Francheska

Purchasing the tickets at the machine with the voucher received online takes less than a minute. It more than paid for itself for us, since the vaporettos can also be used very well for sightseeing.

The QR code on the seven day pass was not readable by the scanning machines at the waterbus stops

Despite the vouchers saying you can redeem your Venice transportation voucher at a Unica point of sale don't bother as the people I spoke to were not interested in helping. At the one outside the Venice train station the operator told me to go inside and from there I was told to use an automatic machine. Wasted 30 minutes of my life only to get shunted twice. And when you try to use the machine hopefully you will be as fortunate as I was as a local noticed me having trouble and he came to my aid. He tried the barcode at 3 machines with no luck and the 4th one we had success. So probably another piece of advice is use the PNR number. On a positive the tickets are an easy way of getting around Venice and we spent hours on the boats trawling around the waterways.

Great value for money. So convenient to be able to hop on and off the warehouses whenever the fancy took us. Visits to the outlying islands and Lido all included. Stayed in Mestre so used the tram and mainland buses daily. Highly recommended.

We arrived in Venice on 5th May 2022 until 9th. May 2022. When we arrived we got the bus from the airport to the water taxes. While paying for the 3day ticket one of our party had his wallet stolen. We did use the water taxes over the next few days unfortunately the weather was raining for three of the four days holiday which made things rather un pleasant. We visited most of the historic buildings and was very interesting best visit doges palace. I was eaten with mosquitos leaving me with itchy spots. I did not e joy the trip but the other three members enjoyed their trip.

Incredible experience. The weather was not good but it is highly recommended. The very professional guide, explaining the history of the area in Spanish and English. A gondola ride is one of those things that everyone should do once in their lives.

Heather C.

Punctual and precise. It was easy to find the kiosk. For the explanations in Spanish, they gave us an application that we downloaded on the phone and that worked very well, although I would have liked more if the guide spoke to us in Spanish; either way we really enjoyed the ride

Great to walk & hear about the city’s history. Windy conditions limit the gondola in the grand canal, which is a bummer. Great experience, worth it!

Our guide (Esra I believe) first showed us around for about 20 mins and gave us lots on info and facts about Venice. After that only we got to sit the Gondola which last for 30 mins. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend this tour rather than trying to get a Gondola ride on the spot that’s triple the cost!

It was a very nice experience. A must do in Venice. For private gondola rides you'll pay more than double the price for the same duration of time. (30mins). Instead you can share a gondola with max 5 people. You only get a guided audio video, no tour guide (we were told it was because of the weather, it was a rainy day). Which was a bit of a setback cause it is written in the description that you'll get a tour guide explaining some things to you for 20 min before the ride starts. Which did not happen. Although we were fortunate to get a very nice and friendly gondolier, who explained some things to us. Yet it is a bit hard though to keep up with the audio + the gondolier explaining things (not always coinciding with the audio) + trying to enjoy the view and taking pictures/videos). So in the end I think it would have been easier to have gotten a guide, it would have been more organised and I think we could've enjoyed it more.

Staff are very friendly and the meeting location was easy to find. A nice overview is given before the gondola ride and while on the Grand Canal. The ride itself was lovely and relaxing and our gondalier even sang a little song and pointed out a few places of interest :) Head to Emilio Ceccato beside the Rialto bridge afterwards to pick up the shirt all the gondaliers wear from the nicest lady who works there.

The trip was well led, the glass blowing demonstration was really neat, and both islands are beautiful. We had about an hour on Murano (including the glass-blowing demonstration) and an hour and a half on Burano. I would switch that to spend more time on Murano. Otherwise, the trip was a lot of fun!

Thomas B.

The price is quite good compared to other options, however it is a little tedious having to listen to the guide repeat the same information in 5 different languages, because there comes a time when he is talking about monuments or places that are no longer in sight While the boat is moving, it would be preferable to book something smaller with the preferred language. Aside from that, the overall experience is good and the guide is very helpful and friendly.

Zosima S.

The departure location was well marked. The instructor spoke clearly, calmly and fluently in several languages (ENG, FR, IT, SP, DEU). The demonstration in the glass factory in Murano was definitely worth it. After the gift shop we didn't have time to explore the island of Murano, but we personally didn't mind. Then, a boat trip to Burano where we were allowed to walk around freely for over an hour. You must have seen this. An hour is enough time to explore the island. We highly recommend this activity!!

Bertrand C.

The weather was awsome, so the trip was great. The kids (8-13 years) loved it-especially the glass factory presentation and the things at the store were really beautiful, too. So I would recomend it to the tourists with kids. The Burano island was beautiful. We also managed to get some pizza (even glutenfree) there, which was delicious and inexpensive.

Boat on time and easy to find guide. View from boat to islands was beautiful and guide was very informative. The glass products (and demonstration) at Murano was mind blowing. Definitely buy there as it is cheaper than in Venice. Burano is also beautiful. Would have loved to spent more time there, but a wonderful trip to see the two islands.

This was a great quick tour! Stayed true to the time estimate and gave enough time to explore each place but not so much that you ran out of things to do. The glass blowing demonstration was super cool, and the colorful island of Burano was adorable and fun to visit!

Everything was good! Murano good experience but the glass show is too touristic targeted. Burano very nice with great restaurants, but 1 hour is not enough for a normal lunch. We had to run to the boat. Left us at 1:30 at the shore and pick up time was 2:30. 45 minutes more would’ve been perfect. The tour guide amazing!

Tour guides were informative and spoke many languages! The tour itself is a little underwhelming as (while VERY beautiful) Burano is quite dull. The glass blowing demonstration was great and some gorgeous artwork. Still a very good experience for the price.

Nice, but our gondolier seemed to be bothered by the fact that he was working and spent most of his time trying to look at his cell phone. Any attempt to try and ask him questions was met with blank stares. Glad I did it, but knowing what I know now wouldn’t be sorry if I missed it. Venice was a dream city to tour for me and what I envisioned was what you see on TV and movies. Reality is not so pretty or attractive up close with all the tourist, crowds, sanitation issues, etc.

It was very nice that we were able to schedule a ride in advance but if you are traveling to Venice at a slower time, I would just recommend finding a gondolier while you are walking around

Mereit

the ride itself was excellent, however the driver spent the entire trip on the phone, talking to us very little. Also the "Meeting place" is the tour company office which was a 15 minute walk from the actual launch and you have to exchange your voucher for one of theirs. Luckily we stopped by 2 hours early to be sure we were at the right place.

It’s not worth it to pay online, you find loads of gondoliers that are free to take you on the spot. We paid more than £100 for an evening ride and after we booked it we were walking and as the gondoliers are trying to attract you, we found one and his price was 80€ on the board but he said he can make a 20€ discount cause that was his last ride. That would have been half of what we paid online, but I couldn’t cancel anymore the reservation unfortunately…

The gondola ride itself was fine.. good value for the money. However the gondola ‘driver’ didn’t say a thing.. was on his phone the entire ride and when asked a question he snapped an answer and went back to his phone. We stopped trying to making convo and just chatted with each other. Our friends in another gondola had a very pleasant driver from the same company. So it really depends on who you get. Overall I would recommend.

Was a beautiful trip! Well worth the money! 3 beautiful islands and a great host who spoke I think up to 5-6 languages! Murano glass experience was amazing! Little tip! Walk out of the shop at the end of the tour and go to the local’s shops, literally 2/3 of what the factory tour is charging! Burano is beautiful! Make sure to visit Bepi’s house and try their biscuits. Torcello is so peaceful and pretty! Also the bell tower you can climb for €5 each! We didn’t realise that until we got there! The sights were gorgeous!

Murano part was spoiled by being captive in one shop and factory. We would have liked time to walk to all the shops, so the stop should have been another 1/2 hour longer. Technically one could have left the shop but there was no time, and you had to come through the shop again to get back to the boat. The other two islands were superb stops, and perfect as they occurred. Fifteen more minutes on Torello would have been icing on the cake.

Christine

The pier was very easy to find as the instructions are so clear. The guides were great, not a lot of information but it was also nice to just sit and enjoy the views from the boat. Murano was great, if you want to shop, there are plenty more glass shops in the town, and it’s much nicer shopping outside. Burano was great and allowed enough free time to have a leisurely lunch and see most of the town. Torcello was beautiful, not as interesting as the others and fewer food options. The only toilet was a paid one. The tour was the perfect pace for the day, a good mix of structure and free time. Between each island was about a 30 min trip, allowing time to rest your legs and and hour back to the main island to rest before walking home. Great tour and highly recommend.

It's definitely a trip to do. But be on time or 15 mins early at every point! We looked at doing the half day trip but glad we didn't as we got much more time in Burano for a chilled lunch and walk along the island. There wasn't much to do in Torcello, but it does have history, and you can climb the church.

Gloria

Very worthwhile trip. Small exhibit at the glass blowing factory on Murano and then around an hour on the island. then to Burano where you have 2 hours to explore (get lunch at this point) and this is a perfect amount of time to see the island and it's beautiful colours. Next to Torcello you get around an hour or so, again a perfect amount of time. It isn't massively clear to understand the points of interest that they point out on the boat. For the money you spend it is definitely worthwhile!

You see the three islands and they leave you time to explore them, personally I didn't pay much attention to the explanations on the boat but I really liked the boat, we left on time and came back sooner because the last island of the three didn't have much to see, something that I appreciate.

Really nice excursion to visit Murano and Burano ! The guide Andreas is perfect, he can speak lots of languages. Really practical to be able to board and get off at Santa Lucia or Saint Marco. We also visited Torcello, but I think it isn't worth the detour. Good price for the itinerary. The islands are beautiful and full of history! People usually skip Torcello, but it is a great mistake! Torcello was one of the highest spots of this tour for me! The only remark goes to the sound system in the intern part of the boat: low level and people talking during the explanations made the listening a hard task for me and my group. Unfortunately we shared the boat with people that does not were properly educated and even interested in the explanations…

Björn M.

It was very good. The guide was there to answer any question and made it easy for us to know what to look for and where in the islands. My only advice to tourists who are not very interested in historical places to take the Murano and Burano without Torcello tours. Torcello is beautiful, and has it's own valuable attractions but different than what you find in Murano and Burano and not that family friendly. All together, it was a wonderful experience and I admire the punctuality of the tour including the transportation.

We had an amazing day, so glad that we booked this trip. Great value for money. Murano and Burano were brilliant, there was less to see on Torecello but glad we booked it as we had longer at Burano than those who had just booked the Murano & Burano trip. Watching the glass making in Murano was really interesting too.

I’ve traveled a lot, but never really used a guided tour like this one. What an amazing experience Anthony provided for us! Engaging stories, excellent driving, extreme patience, and outstanding wit made our tour an easy way to experience the Scottish Highlands in just a few days. We had a delightful ride with Diario. He was so proud of his family’s legacy and we were excited to hear the details of his fathers work. We rode in his family’s 32 year old gondola and he even pointed out his fathers home. It was fun to hear the gondoliers banter while riding the canal. It’s a very quick ride under the bridge of sighs and back again. Time flies when you’re having fun!

we had a guide keen on history and we were only two people so privileged visit, on the other hand a little light content: a demo in a single glassware (where we spent most of the time visiting the store with the seller on our heels) + visit to the basilica, the rest of the island is apparently not planned in the program (too bad!) .. but very helpful guide in any case (to help us find the right shuttle boat to leave )

We chose a private tour with a guide to the island of Murano, and it was a very pleasant experience, a far cry from group tours. The first 2 islands were very nice, the last one was not much (a church on an island) There were also people who did the 2 islands tour, I would recommend that to people. The excursion to the lagoon gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. The boat ride through nature was breathtaking, and a stop on the island of Murano allowed us to see the glass making process and learn about the art of glassblowing.

The educational visit on the manual processing of glass in artisan ovens is interesting. But I don't understand why the shop is induced in internal shops with very high prices, even in the shops in the internal square of the town. The paradox is that in the bazaars along the route to Venice in the Rialto bridge area, the prices of Murano glasses, identical to those we bought on the island, are 3 euros lower per piece. One out of five would come free. What a disappointment!!!

Immeasurable wealth and incredible works of art. Just walking past the long lines is worth every euro. But that's not all - the guide's explanations and explanations were very good. Any time again, perfect organization. Thanks!

This was a tremendous tour! It was clear where and when we were supposed to meet and highly organized when we arrived. We promptly began our tour with a guide who is highly knowledgable. She spoke slowly and clearly and answered our questions as we explored and listened. When a couple sets of ear buds quit working she quickly changed those out. At the end she gave us a tip to wait on the terrace to see the clock work on the hour. Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was fantastic. It was an excellent historical trek and she was both masterful, and joyful at explaining it all. When you think of navigating the vast crowds visiting magical Venice (and it is so very magical) - your time is also valuable. This experience made it very easy to receive so much in return. Thank you!

The guide teaches us what was happening in each room of the palace, about the Republic of Venice, the little-known French history of the Battle of Lesventes and Napoleon and deciphers the works. Thanks to the headphones you don't miss a beat. On the upper floor of the basilica, outside, she talks to us about present-day Venice and we can ask her questions.

The tour was excellent and very well thought out. It's all because of the very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. She had a great command over the language, it was easy to get through what she was explaining and she was very personable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice. 5 stars

Our guide, Andrea was excellent. The only negative was the line for the women’s restroom was way too long due to a toilet being out of order. Other than that the place was beautiful and the guide very knowledgeable.

I loved everything about this tour! St. Mark's Basilica is stunningly beautiful and was by far my favorite Basilica out of all of the ones we saw while visiting Italy. Accessing the terrace was also a nice add to this tour as the views from the terrace really showed you the entire square. We were also able to witness the time change on the Clock Tower from the terrace which was amazing to see from the higher angle. The Doge's Palace did not disappoint either. The history of the Palace and what took place there was very interesting as well. Our guide Elena (sorry if I'm misspelling it) was excellent! She was very personable, kept a nice pace, and was very knowledgeable. I like tours with informative guides but sometimes feel the guides overload you with too much information. I felt she did a great job at balancing this by providing the information without being excessive and kept my attention throughout the entire tour. I highly recommend this tour and Elena!

The trip was in a beautifully restored fishing boat - a picture perfect way to spend several hours exploring the other islands. Watching glass blowing on Murano was fascinating, but you do need to be strong to resist the underlying pressure to spend money in the shop afterwards. Burano with its colourful houses was simply stunning and Torcello was so peaceful, it seemed to offer the perfect escape from the pressures of our busy lives. Our guide was charming and unobtrusive - I would definitely recommend this as a great way of exploring the smaller islands.

Beautiful day ! We were welcomed at the point established by mr. Manola, an exquisite person, prepared and extremely available, who accompanied us throughout the tour. First stop on the island of Murano: visit to the glass factory. Mr. Fabio, very kind, explained to us step by step the demonstration of a master glassmaker who created three beautiful objects for us. After a pleasant walk on the island we took the boat and went to Burano Manola, our super guide, made us visit the island by telling us and showing us a lot of interesting things After circumnavigating the island of Torcello (we chose not to go down) we returned to Venice enjoying the spectacle of the setting sun Beautiful, well organized, highly recommended experience, which we will definitely do again! a special thanks to Manola who made our trip special !!

A beautiful RIVA type boat, all in wood, much better than the photo ;-)) The guide was great, full of anecdotes, attentive and discreet at the same time. Seeing Venice from the lagoon and the Grand Canal is an experience in itself, in addition to the interest of the other cities visited. Murano: for its glassmakers Burano: for its pretty colored houses To do ABSOLUTELY !!

Very nice visit to the 3 islands, even if Torcello did not have much interest. 2 large groups of about thirty people take 3 different boats at 10min intervals, so it's crowded. The very limited and fairly basic explanations are given on the boat, each sentence in the 5 different languages. It was however well organized, but very touristy.

Going to Venice and going through the experience of riding a gondola is something incredible, its canals, its culture, its houses and nice people. You must give yourself an incredible and unforgettable experience. The only thing the 30-minute route ends fast or sooner.

Finding the meeting point was a bit confusing. I thought I was supposed to meet a gondolier. Eventually, I got to the right place on my own and missed the 'Get you guide' contact that was waiting for me at the meeting point with a sign bearing my name.

Roberto F.

Our guide met us at the meeting point and was even there thirty minutes early! He had my name on an iPad and spun around to make sure I’d see him. Which made things super easy. We booked a private gondola ride and it was just my boyfriend and I. The ride did last the full thirty minutes. The gondola rower was excellent. A very charming man with a sense of humor. He pointed out things to us as we enjoyed the ride and also sang. He also told us to take pictures and allowed us to move around the boat in order to get good shots. He also had us kiss every time we went under a bridge. Overall the experience was amazing and we appreciated him allowing us to be touristy and take pictures and really enjoy the whole ride. I would recommend this 10/10. Very happy.

Brilliant, much cheaper than purchasing there. We headed to the meeting point which was a little hut and spoke to the guy working to confirm we were at the correct place. Antimo M.

The time was 20 min only !!!! And it was supposed to be 30 minutes, taking into account that the gondolier decides whether to return earlier or not!!! But take away 10 min!!! I do not agree!!!! But the overall very cool experience!!!!

I took the cruise on the Grand Canal on a dreary July afternoon, around 5.30pm when the streets began to empty and the sun was no longer so aggressive. Thanks to these factors, the tour took place in a very suggestive and intimate atmosphere. We were immersed in silence and you could hear the waves crashing on the gondola. At one point the gondolier started whistling a melancholy tune ... that melody was the icing on the cake. Magical experience that I can't wait to do again. A plus also for the friendly and nice guy who helped us get on the boat. Everything really perfect.

The visit is good, the only thing is that the guide spoke too fast in a very weak tone which made it difficult to follow him...plus he kept dropping words or expressions in Italian, cutting off every sentence in English, only to pick up the thread again later... Without native English it is difficult to follow the entire explanation. The guide's English was quite peculiar. Almost zero time for photos, super express visit. The good thing, very small group.

The guide was very competent and mainly reported on the difficulties of the local Venetians. We were frightened by the decline in the number of residents reported in Venice (about 100,000 in 1960, today 49,000) and the frightening takeover of shops and restaurants by the Chinese.

Surprisingly, I was the only one who had booked a German-speaking tour... and ended up with a 1:1 tour, actually a great thing, unfortunately I had the impression that the tour guide found it a bit tedious that I took a lot of photos wanted and stopped again and again... for them, of course, it wasn't an "individual tour". I found the quarters great, including the early start time at 9 a.m.
