Wonderful experience. All you could drink prosecco is never a bad thing!

A great welcome from our guide Thomas who really amused us with in addition really lots of interesting details. A Venice seen differently. I, who am not very good at English, understood our guide quite easily, who spoke very well and softly enough.

My family and I had the great pleasure of being guided by Tomosa on his classic Venetian styled boat. Honestly, it wasn’t the boat, the possible sunset, or anything else that made the trip it was Tomosa. Hands down an exceptionally smart, humorous, and well spoken skipper. My husband and I enjoyed his stories and wit so much that we almost had to be reminded to take pictures. He was organized by explaining to us what we were doing, where we were going and when we would do certain things. I found him to be considerate of our elderly group member to ensure she made it into the boat safely. We just had such a great time with him and learning some of Venice’s history. My husband and I love naval history and seeing Venice from this perspective was so much fun. We drank Prosecco, the whole bottle. I would highly recommend take a cruise with him, sunset, no sunset… it’s still an absolute blast to talk to him and hear all the wonderful historical stories.

Excellent guide. Very knowledgeable. We saw parts of Venice and the islands we had never seen before. Very informative and enjoyable. The boat was great plus proseco and soft drinks. Don't miss this. It is well worth it.

The sight of the boat when arriving was a little disappointing, another idea at the start, according to the photo of the very selling site. But our skyper swept this negative note. Thank you to him for his energy, his passion for the place and his history

Lots of insights in a picturesque setting. However, with several people, which somewhat reduced the intended romance.

It was a very pleasant round tour through the lagoon of Venice, past the natural uninhabited islands to Burano and then back via Murano to Venice. The setting sun led to a wonderful evening mood on this cloudless day.

Wonderful experience! The weather was not the best for us, but Tomazzo was communicative with us about the likelihood of the excursion. Once we were on the water, Tomazzo served us Prosecco and told us much about Venetian history and culture. Though the water was choppy from the storm, our spirits were high as he guided us masterfully through the tour. 10/10 recommend.

We really appreciated the guide's explanations. The gondola ride was very good, as was the historical presentation of Venice using virtual glasses. We would have liked the Grand Canal tour at the end of the activity to be longer.

I liked the brief history before getting on the Gondola. athe guide was very knowledgeable and our Gondeler was very nice.

The only negative note is that the docking area to get off the gondolas is not suitable and absolutely needs to be improved.

The walking tour was excellent. We learned a lot about the city. The gondola ride was good but not very long and there was no live guide during the ride. It's something to check off the list at a very reasonable price.

Guide was great, spoke very good english and answered mine and the groups questions. learned a lot about Venice I was not aware of. Gondola ride was peaceful and relaxing. Different view of Venice and would recommend this tour

Anna L.

The time in the gondola is quite short, it's a shame and our gondolier didn't have the typical outfit but the ride is nice. In addition, the initial visit in the streets of Venice with the guide and the experience with the virtual reality headset was rather nice

We really enjoyed our gondola ride, the scenery, music and experience was amazing. a once in a life time opportunity. Our tour started with a walking tour of the city, then straight to our gondola ride. the gondaleers were amazing helping us into and out of the ride. we had some seniors with us, so it was really helpful. the love commentary was very helpful and informative. We enjoyed that very much. At the end of our tour, our tour guide gave us an option for a virtual tour of the city in the past. it was amazing, we would do that again and it was free (included in our price).

It was a great help as I am partially disabled and use two sticks to get around. Walking the length and breadth of Venice and enjoying the city would have been impossible without the pass.

Easy to activate and easy to use to get around in Venice, we even used it to go to Burano for the day.

Sarah

I bought the 24hr pass on the morning before going to the ticket machine and printing off. When boarding the bus I did wonder how it was supposed to scan but even though it was a paper copy this was no problem. I utilised the pass heavily to go to lido, burrano and murano before coming back into Venice and using there also. So worth it for the money and would defo recommend to people to use it. Easy simple and value for money

Morgan M.

Very easy to get on and off. The instructions to pick up the tickets at the kiosk could be a little more clear. There is 2 bus stations at the train stop without kiosks prior to finding the third station which had the pickup kiosks. Learning the lines was a bit confusing as well, a bus guide would have helped.

Heather J.

Way to easy to pick-up the tickets and use them… truly it was the best way to transport in Venice, and I would use and recommend it again

Ting

The tickets are easy to redeem. You will get a redemption code after order confirmation. Just head to the yellow ticket machine at every ferry station and insert the redemption code and you will get the ticket right away

Karen

They can use more water buses, especially near the train station. We had to wait a long time and when we did get on one it was so crowded we could barely get off at our stop. You need to pay attention because they don't always announce the stops and when they do stop, it is not for a very long time.

Janice

really useful getting a 7 day pass for the waterbus, we hopped on and off many times each day and got to see most of venice. we even managed trips to merano and burano islands using the pass. strongly recommend this.

Fiona

Seemed to be really lucky , never waited very long. Once I got my head around the system, it’s easy to find where you are going.occasionally the boat was packed but always got on.

Anna L.

I liked being able to get off the train and going right to the kiosk to get my tickets. There was a line for vaporetto tickets. It would have been cheaper to buy in person if I'd been willing to wait in line.

Belinda

Paying a single cost and knowing you would have unlimited use provided peace of mind for a first time solo traveller to Venice.

A worker from the company was waiting for us at the meeting point and kindly accompanied us to the starting point of the gondola ride. We shared it with a couple, in total we were 5 people. We liked it so much that we decided to take a second gondola ride. Venice is beautiful, spectacular from the Grand Canal.

Fantastic tour with Giovanna, an extremely nice, hard-working Venetian woman who speaks perfect German. we had a guide keen on history and we were only two people so privileged visit, on the other hand a little light content: a demo in a single glassware (where we spent most of the time visiting the store with the seller on our heels) + visit to the basilica, the rest of the island is apparently not planned in the program (too bad!) .. but very helpful guide in any case (to help us find the right shuttle boat to leave )

Priscilla C.

Already on the boat trip by taxi to Murano, our guide Giovanna explained a lot of interesting things about Venice and the origin of the glass manufactories. The private tour of the glass factory was very impressive and informative. Due to the special Corona situation, the four of us were the only guests, which meant that we were looked after extremely courteously and personally. The subsequent stroll with Giovanna through Murano with a visit to two churches in which pictures by old masters were hidden on the walls, the onset of flooding due to the tide and the many stories that Giovanna knew to tell us about Murano and Venice rounded off our private tour away. A very successful trip!

Katia is an excellent guide. Interesting and available. The visit was superb. A good time with the family that we recommend

Clifford B.

The tour guide was very helpful and was pointing out various landmarks around the islands. The passengers were split into two groups, one each for two glass factories on Murano. We went to the Mazzucato factory which had a very good demonstration of glass blowing

We chose a private tour with a guide to the island of Murano, and it was a very pleasant experience, a far cry from group tours. Our guide took the time to tell us about the history of Venice and we visited places far from the tourist crowds. We stayed in Venice for four days, and this outing was by far the best. Grazie mille!

it was perfect! the times on each island were sufficient. only downside, the guide on the way back was not the same...very strange way of speaking and we didn't understand anything. the 3 islands are superb with a favorite for Burano and its colors! You have to climb to the top of the Torcello campanile, the view is magnificent

The tour was a lot of fun, our guide Julia was well versed and really gave us a lot of information and backstory of the locations we visited. Really nice excursion to visit Murano and Burano ! The guide Andreas is perfect, he can speak lots of languages. Really practical to be able to board and get off at Santa Lucia or Saint Marco. We also visited Torcello, but I think it isn't worth the detour. The time we could spend in Murano and Burano was not enough, it would be better to skip Torcello and lenghten the time in Murano and Burano. Burano is the best spot for gorgeous photos!

Larry

You see the three islands and they leave you time to explore them, personally I didn't pay much attention to the explanations on the boat but I really liked the boat, we left on time and came back sooner because the last island of the three didn't have much to see, something that I appreciate.

Rachel

We had an amazing day, so glad that we booked this trip. Great value for money. Murano and Burano were brilliant, there was less to see on Torecello but glad we booked it as we had longer at Burano than those who had just booked the Murano & Burano trip. Watching the glass making in Murano was really interesting too.

Björn M.

It was very good. The guide was there to answer any question and made it easy for us to know what to look for and where in the islands. My only advice to tourists who are not very interested in historical places to take the Murano and Burano without Torcello tours. Torcello is beautiful, and has it's own valuable attractions but different than what you find in Murano and Burano and not that family friendly. All together, it was a wonderful experience and I admire the punctuality of the tour including the transportation.

Was a beautiful trip! Well worth the money! 3 beautiful islands and a great host who spoke I think up to 5-6 languages! Murano glass experience was amazing! Little tip! Walk out of the shop at the end of the tour and go to the local’s shops, literally 2/3 of what the factory tour is charging! Burano is beautiful! Make sure to visit Bepi’s house and try their biscuits. Torcello is so peaceful and pretty! Also the bell tower you can climb for €5 each! We didn’t realise that until we got there! The sights were gorgeous!

Marilyn D.

Murano part was spoiled by being captive in one shop and factory. We would have liked time to walk to all the shops, so the stop should have been another 1/2 hour longer. Technically one could have left the shop but there was no time, and you had to come through the shop again to get back to the boat. The other two islands were superb stops, and perfect as they occurred. Fifteen more minutes on Torello would have been icing on the cake.

We had booked a gondola ride at 7.30pm only for the two of us. Since we had read in the reviews that the office is not so easy to find, we left earlier. With Googel Maps that was no problem at all. Since it was our turn earlier, the employee asked us if we wanted to drive earlier and where we were we said yes. She wrote a new time on the slip of paper we went to the stop at the Hard Rock Cafe where there was a long line but we were led straight to the next arriving gondola and off we went. It was a special experience from time to time we saw or heard the gondola with musicians. So I enjoyed it very much, I enjoyed it and it would not have occurred to me to look at the watch for how long we were on the road.

Rosalina was a great guide for our Venice tour. She shared so much knowledge and interesting insights about Venice, Venetian culture, and history making the tour very engaging. We also appreciated her recommendations for restaurants and cafes. Our gondolier was also very good - amazing skills he has to keep us within an inch from the canal walls without the gondola touching them. He also sang! This was the quintessential Venice experience without the price tag of a private tour.

Our guide was excellent The only suggestion for improvement would be to have groups who all spoke the same language. The fact that half of the tour was in a language each group didn’t speak effectively meant that half the commentary was not relevant Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed the walk Thank you

The educational visit on the manual processing of glass in artisan ovens is interesting. But I don't understand why the shop is induced in internal shops with very high prices, even in the shops in the internal square of the town. The paradox is that in the bazaars along the route to Venice in the Rialto bridge area, the prices of Murano glasses, identical to those we bought on the island, are 3 euros lower per piece. One out of five would come free. What a disappointment!!!

The first 2 islands were very nice, the last one was not much (a church on an island) There were also people who did the 2 islands tour, I would recommend that to people. A visit to the glass museum is an absolute must as far as I am concerned, but I have not seen a tour in a glass factory (they must mean the museum, but you can visit it at your own expense and opportunity)

It was a great way to see the culture and history of Venice and the surrounding islands. The glass demo was interesting and a must . The coloured houses in Burano are eye-catching and the story behind them light hearted. With quaint restaurants, for a light bite and a glass of wine. Spent approximately an hour and half at each location.

The best €25 I ever spent! Amazing day trip to 3 gorgeous little villages! Perfect amount of free time in each place, the day flies in! Like other people have said, don't buy anything in the glass factory, things are much cheaper in the shops. Really nice big boat, with an option to sit inside or outside.

The information given by the multilingual guide was clear and interesting to know. The islands are a must see, Burano being the most picturesque with its brightly colored houses. We like that it is off the beaten path. We went to the quiet part of Venice. We truly enjoyed the old buildings. Our gondolier expertly maneuvered the gondola. He shared little stories along the way. We loved our Murano/Burano tour. This was a unique experience. From the boat ride, to the glass blowing and lace-making demonstrations, to tasting the traditional Burano biscuits, it packed a lot of great experiences into one tour. Murano glass blowing was fascinating and we had time for a stroll to see part of the island. Burano was simply beautiful and there was plenty of time to explore and to sit down for some lunch. Overall an excellent experience with a great guide and good value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone

An evening Gondola ride is a must do in Venice. It was fabulous to appreciate the grandeur of the Grand Canal and then slip down the quieter canals under the stars. Our Gondalier was fabulous telling us stories and pointing out things we may have missed.

We had a very enjoyable gondola ride (one and only as newlyWeds) with our guide. Luckily the weather was perfect and the guide told us interesting facts about the different historically significant buildings along the canal as we passed them. The trip felt like the perfect amount of time for a short afternoon activity after we toured the Basilica and Palace all morning.

Excellent guide, very clear explanations, about the streets and how to guide yourself by looking at the indications, it was very useful for the rest of the trip. The communication with the headphones allowed those of us who wanted photos to stay a little behind without losing detail of the information.

The visit took place at a pleasant pace with the guide Martina who speaks very good French, her explanations were clear, precise and very well documented. We had some difficulty finding a time slot for this visit, so we did it at the end of our stay. We think it is better to do it at the beginning of the stay to go back to already known places. The equipment provided to hear the guide well worked perfectly.

Experience to be recommended for those who want to wander around the city and learn many curiosities at the same time thanks to the presence of a guide. Right price/quality experience! Very kind and cordial. The only flaw: I booked the tour in Italian and during the tour the guide explained things in two languages: Italian/English. A lot of time is wasted that could be invested in more exhaustive questions or explanations.

We did the tour with the guide Francesco and it was great. It was important to him to reach each individual in the group with his explanations and he showed us beautiful corners far away from the tourist streets. The guided tour was in English and he has such a clear pronunciation that you don't need to be fluent in English to understand him. Of course, it also helped a bit that he accompanied the explanations with his sympathetic Italian manner. We learned a lot about the history of Venice that day and would always book a guided tour with Francesco. As a guide we give him 5 stars. Thank you Francesco :)

The tour was great! We walked (a lot!) and explored many roads, pontes and campos. The guide explained the History of the city and also the History behind the Monuments. We had almost 2 hours break before the gondola ride, and that was not expected. By the time we Started the gôndola ride, it was already very dark.

We really enjoyed the 1 1/2 hour walking tour around Venice. Our guide was easy to understand (English speaking) and we saw and learned about places and architecture that we would have missed on our own. The starting point was St. Mark's Square so we hit all the highlights and more. Would definitely recommend.

It felt very organized and we enjoyed that aspect of it. We found the tour informative and thoroughly impressed with the guides handle on multiple languages. We did not know what to expect for the islands but really enjoyed them and the time allotted at each location, especially with the warm weather . We had expected to be dropped back off at a sorting point so we were surprised to be dropped off at St Mark's and have to figure out our way back to our starting location. Once the boat docked,we had intended to tip the guide and get some instructions from her, but she was the first to get off the boat and took off right away.

"Great trip! Well worth the money to visit the two islands and see a glass blowing demonstration. The time goes by fast but if you’re only in Venice for the weekend it’s the perfect amount of time. Our guide was lovely, I believe her name was Georgina but I don’t quite remember. She gave the tour in 4 different languages and was very helpful to everyone. "

The trip was in a beautifully restored fishing boat - a picture perfect way to spend several hours exploring the other islands. Watching glass blowing on Murano was fascinating, but you do need to be strong to resist the underlying pressure to spend money in the shop afterwards. Burano with its colourful houses was simply stunning and Torcello was so peaceful, it seemed to offer the perfect escape from the pressures of our busy lives. Our guide was charming and unobtrusive - I would definitely recommend this as a great way of exploring the smaller islands.

A beautiful RIVA type boat, all in wood, much better than the photo ;-)) The guide was great, full of anecdotes, attentive and discreet at the same time. Seeing Venice from the lagoon and the Grand Canal is an experience in itself, in addition to the interest of the other cities visited. Murano: for its glassmakers Burano: for its pretty colored houses To do ABSOLUTELY !!

Beautiful day ! We were welcomed at the point established by mr. Manola, an exquisite person, prepared and extremely available, who accompanied us throughout the tour. First stop on the island of Murano: visit to the glass factory. Mr. Fabio, very kind, explained to us step by step the demonstration of a master glassmaker who created three beautiful objects for us. After a pleasant walk on the island we took the boat and went to Burano Manola, our super guide, made us visit the island by telling us and showing us a lot of interesting things After circumnavigating the island of Torcello (we chose not to go down) we returned to Venice enjoying the spectacle of the setting sun Beautiful, well organized, highly recommended experience, which we will definitely do again! a special thanks to Manola who made our trip special !!

If you want a quick gondola ride and nothing else, this is the right one. Takes a little turn into the canals (not under the Rialto Bridge). 30 minutes and then it's done but that's what I wanted. Cheaper to buy on getyourride than on site depending on the currency so it was good.

It was a great experience. Venice is a place you should visit at least once in your life, and I recommend taking a gondola ride to enjoy the city. However, although the meeting place was easy to find, I was a little worried until the guide arrived because I didn't know where to go afterwards (thank goodness I waited at the ticket booth). It was a great experience, including that!

We chose not to take the audioguide just to enjoy the gondola ride better. And although we booked a tour in English we we're put in a French speaking group so we didn't understand a word of the tour on ground. So just in case take the audioguide! The gondola ride itself was lovely, definately worth the money .

We had some trouble getting to the location because we didn't know we had to take a taxi from outside of Venice which made us late. Ultimately, it was our fault for not doing more research, but we would have appreciated a bigger heads up in the directions for those who were not already in that area of Venice. Otherwise, it was a great time and we enjoyed ourselves!!

This worked well for me as a solo traveller as the usual prices meant it wouldn't have been an option for me on my own. Bit of a guided tour on the way to the Gondola ride which was quite serene once we were on our way. A bit of waiting around so you need to allow a couple of hours taking everything into consideration. The gallery at the end was well worth staying for, you really felt that you were there and had gone back in time with the 3D experience.

We signed up for a gondola tour. Did not realize there would be another brief tour as we walked to the gondola docks. That was ok, but our primarty reason was to take a gondola ride. Personally was not looking to be entertained by him or have an extensive conversation, but not even a welcome, hello or thank you.
