The sight of the boat when arriving was a little disappointing, another idea at the start, according to the photo of the very selling site. But our skyper swept this negative note. Thank you to him for his energy, his passion for the place and his history

It was the best decision to book this boat trip !! Our guide Tassilo (Tassimo) I could not understand it, was so kind and nice. Without him, the ride would have been only half as nice. He was wonderful at everything, told everything about the lagoon of Venice, felt safe with him and had a lot of fun !! Unfortunately, the two hours have passed as in flight, because it was so great. I can recommend this ride to everyone !! You can relax on the water with Prosecco and listen to the exciting stories. Many thanks for this great experience !!

It was a very pleasant round tour through the lagoon of Venice, past the natural uninhabited islands to Burano and then back via Murano to Venice. The setting sun led to a wonderful evening mood on this cloudless day.

My family and I had the great pleasure of being guided by Tomosa on his classic Venetian styled boat. Honestly, it wasn’t the boat, the possible sunset, or anything else that made the trip it was Tomosa. Hands down an exceptionally smart, humorous, and well spoken skipper. My husband and I enjoyed his stories and wit so much that we almost had to be reminded to take pictures. He was organized by explaining to us what we were doing, where we were going and when we would do certain things. I found him to be considerate of our elderly group member to ensure she made it into the boat safely. We just had such a great time with him and learning some of Venice’s history. My husband and I love naval history and seeing Venice from this perspective was so much fun. We drank Prosecco, the whole bottle. I would highly recommend take a cruise with him, sunset, no sunset… it’s still an absolute blast to talk to him and hear all the wonderful historical stories.

A great welcome from our guide Thomas who really amused us with in addition really lots of interesting details. A Venice seen differently. I, who am not very good at English, understood our guide quite easily, who spoke very well and softly enough.

The time in the gondola is quite short, it's a shame and our gondolier didn't have the typical outfit but the ride is nice. In addition, the initial visit in the streets of Venice with the guide and the experience with the virtual reality headset was rather nice

David J.

Very good for the price it is, opposite of maybe the 100€ that ask you the private gongoliers, here you get probably the same experience for not even half the price. Plus in the end you get VR tour of how was Venice back in the days for free, so what can you ask more for? I definitely recommend this tour.

The walking tour was excellent. We learned a lot about the city. The gondola ride was good but not very long and there was no live guide during the ride. It's something to check off the list at a very reasonable price.

Fantastic tour with Giovanna, an extremely nice, hard-working Venetian woman who speaks perfect German. Very well organised, extensive and interesting information about Murano and the history of this small island. Lots of new impressions and, above all, good memories. Absolutely great and highly recommended! We (Nina and Jürgen) say thank you dear Giovanna

We chose a private tour with a guide to the island of Murano, and it was a very pleasant experience, a far cry from group tours. Our guide took the time to tell us about the history of Venice and we visited places far from the tourist crowds. We stayed in Venice for four days, and this outing was by far the best. Grazie mille!

Already on the boat trip by taxi to Murano, our guide Giovanna explained a lot of interesting things about Venice and the origin of the glass manufactories. The private tour of the glass factory was very impressive and informative. Due to the special Corona situation, the four of us were the only guests, which meant that we were looked after extremely courteously and personally. The subsequent stroll with Giovanna through Murano with a visit to two churches in which pictures by old masters were hidden on the walls, the onset of flooding due to the tide and the many stories that Giovanna knew to tell us about Murano and Venice rounded off our private tour away. A very successful trip!

It felt very organized and we enjoyed that aspect of it. We found the tour informative and thoroughly impressed with the guides handle on multiple languages. We did not know what to expect for the islands but really enjoyed them and the time allotted at each location, especially with the warm weather . We had expected to be dropped back off at a sorting point so we were surprised to be dropped off at St Mark's and have to figure out our way back to our starting location. Once the boat docked,we had intended to tip the guide and get some instructions from her, but she was the first to get off the boat and took off right away.

We had an amazing day, so glad that we booked this trip. Great value for money. Murano and Burano were brilliant, there was less to see on Torecello but glad we booked it as we had longer at Burano than those who had just booked the Murano & Burano trip. Watching the glass making in Murano was really interesting too.

Really nice excursion to visit Murano and Burano ! The guide Andreas is perfect, he can speak lots of languages. Really practical to be able to board and get off at Santa Lucia or Saint Marco. Was a beautiful trip! Well worth the money! 3 beautiful islands and a great host who spoke I think up to 5-6 languages! Murano glass experience was amazing! Little tip! Walk out of the shop at the end of the tour and go to the local’s shops, literally 2/3 of what the factory tour is charging! Burano is beautiful! Make sure to visit Bepi’s house and try their biscuits. Torcello is so peaceful and pretty! Also the bell tower you can climb for €5 each! We didn’t realise that until we got there! The sights were gorgeous!

Emmaline A.

it was perfect! the times on each island were sufficient. only downside, the guide on the way back was not the same...very strange way of speaking and we didn't understand anything. the 3 islands are superb with a favorite for Burano and its colors! You have to climb to the top of the Torcello campanile, the view is magnificent

Jesse

It's definitely a trip to do. But be on time or 15 mins early at every point! We looked at doing the half day trip but glad we didn't as we got much more time in Burano for a chilled lunch and walk along the island. There wasn't much to do in Torcello, but it does have history, and you can climb the church.

Christine

The pier was very easy to find as the instructions are so clear. The guides were great, not a lot of information but it was also nice to just sit and enjoy the views from the boat. Murano was great, if you want to shop, there are plenty more glass shops in the town, and it’s much nicer shopping outside. Burano was great and allowed enough free time to have a leisurely lunch and see most of the town. Torcello was beautiful, not as interesting as the others and fewer food options. The only toilet was a paid one. The tour was the perfect pace for the day, a good mix of structure and free time. Between each island was about a 30 min trip, allowing time to rest your legs and and hour back to the main island to rest before walking home. Great tour and highly recommend.

You see the three islands and they leave you time to explore them, personally I didn't pay much attention to the explanations on the boat but I really liked the boat, we left on time and came back sooner because the last island of the three didn't have much to see, something that I appreciate.

Alda N.

Torcello seemed like a waste of time, the other 2 islands were gorgeous. The boat ride was beautiful.

Gloria

Very worthwhile trip. Small exhibit at the glass blowing factory on Murano and then around an hour on the island. then to Burano where you have 2 hours to explore (get lunch at this point) and this is a perfect amount of time to see the island and it's beautiful colours. Next to Torcello you get around an hour or so, again a perfect amount of time. It isn't massively clear to understand the points of interest that they point out on the boat. For the money you spend it is definitely worthwhile!

Marilyn D.

Murano part was spoiled by being captive in one shop and factory. We would have liked time to walk to all the shops, so the stop should have been another 1/2 hour longer. Technically one could have left the shop but there was no time, and you had to come through the shop again to get back to the boat. The other two islands were superb stops, and perfect as they occurred. Fifteen more minutes on Torello would have been icing on the cake.

Visited Venice solely with the intention of a gondola ride. It was a solo trip so I was happy to find an option of a shared ride to make it much more affordable. The guide as great and we spent the majority of the ride down the smaller side canals off the grand canal. 100% would recommend.

Good experience on Gondola. 30 mins go by fast for the price paid, it is certainly an expensive ride. Our Gondolier is great, he was very skillfull, going around tight corners in the narrow river lanes. I'd highly recommend this for the beautiful views and experience.

We booked a private Gondola which departed at St Mark's square. We arrived, queued a few minutes at the ticket desk andvthen went straight onto our gondola. Venice was really busy and I'm glad we prebooked as all other gondolas were sold out! There were others in Venice, nearer the station, however they went down the unknown little side canals, whereas we wanted to see the sights around St Mark's square. It was an unforgettable, albeit expensive, experience!

We loved our Murano/Burano tour. This was a unique experience. From the boat ride, to the glass blowing and lace-making demonstrations, to tasting the traditional Burano biscuits, it packed a lot of great experiences into one tour. Our tour guide, Marta, was wonderful! She was friendly, enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Venice, the islands, and the lagoon. Thank you Marta!! Rosalina was a great guide for our Venice tour. She shared so much knowledge and interesting insights about Venice, Venetian culture, and history making the tour very engaging. We also appreciated her recommendations for restaurants and cafes. Our gondolier was also very good - amazing skills he has to keep us within an inch from the canal walls without the gondola touching them. He also sang! This was the quintessential Venice experience without the price tag of a private tour.

Our guide was excellent The only suggestion for improvement would be to have groups who all spoke the same language. The first 2 islands were very nice, the last one was not much (a church on an island) There were also people who did the 2 islands tour, I would recommend that to people. The educational visit on the manual processing of glass in artisan ovens is interesting. But I don't understand why the shop is induced in internal shops with very high prices, even in the shops in the internal square of the town. The paradox is that in the bazaars along the route to Venice in the Rialto bridge area, the prices of Murano glasses, identical to those we bought on the island, are 3 euros lower per piece. One out of five would come free. What a disappointment!!!

It was a great way to see the culture and history of Venice and the surrounding islands. The glass demo was interesting and a must . We like that it is off the beaten path. We went to the quiet part of Venice. We truly enjoyed the old buildings. Our gondolier expertly maneuvered the gondola. He shared little stories along the way. "Our tour for the 5 of us was good. 5 star to our walking tour guide. 3 stars for Gondola, not a word from our Gondola driver/guide. The process for getting our tickets was different than any other tours we have done. Confusing and a snippy gal at the window. "

Great trip. Loved the tour guide, Chiara - she was knowledgeable and did a great job. Loved the gondola ride - our only comment is that it would have been nice for the gondoliar did a little commentary. But we still had a great trip. Overall highly recommend the trip for the price.

The tour was great! We walked (a lot!) and explored many roads, pontes and campos. The guide explained the History of the city and also the History behind the Monuments. We had almost 2 hours break before the gondola ride, and that was not expected. By the time we Started the gôndola ride, it was already very dark.

This was a fun walking tour of Venice. The streets can be like a maze, so it was helpful to have a guide. Our guide (I forget his name) was very funny and personable. Very dry sense of humor, which I loved. And the gondola tour is fun. It’s something that you kinda just have to do while in Venice.

Walking tour was excellent. Guide spoke very good English, and was enthusiastic and informative. Walking tour was approx 1 hr 15 minutes long and got to see and learn about things you would otherwise not know. Would definitely recommend this in addition to just the Gondola ride as the extra cost is quite small.

The water bus was easy to find and using the tickets pre booked was better than trying to work out the machine. As long as u know where u r going and where u have to get off it’s fine.

Well worth getting a multi day pass if your island hopping or want to get from one end of Venice to the other when the days are to hot to walk. We used the ticket to visit the Lido as well. So worth it if you plan on using it more than 3 times.

These were excellent value especially as staying on mestre, we used the bus to get in and out every day and the water bus to visit the islands and make our way round when our legs got tired !

This was easy to book and use and meant that we could skip the queues for the ticket office. It was also cheaper than buying the tickets on the day. Would recommend using.

Very easy to get on and off. The instructions to pick up the tickets at the kiosk could be a little more clear. There is 2 bus stations at the train stop without kiosks prior to finding the third station which had the pickup kiosks. Learning the lines was a bit confusing as well, a bus guide would have helped.

Anna L.

I liked being able to get off the train and going right to the kiosk to get my tickets. There was a line for vaporetto tickets. It would have been cheaper to buy in person if I'd been willing to wait in line.

We chose not to take the audioguide just to enjoy the gondola ride better. And although we booked a tour in English we we're put in a French speaking group so we didn't understand a word of the tour on ground. So just in case take the audioguide! The gondola ride itself was lovely, definately worth the money .

On the other hand too tight, we couldn't take pictures, too bad otherwise nice activity but the gondoliers were shouting at each other. For 120 euros it's a bit of a shame.

It was a great experience. Venice is a place you should visit at least once in your life, and I recommend taking a gondola ride to enjoy the city. However, although the meeting place was easy to find, I was a little worried until the guide arrived because I didn't know where to go afterwards (thank goodness I waited at the ticket booth). It was a great experience, including that!

If you want a quick gondola ride and nothing else, this is the right one. Takes a little turn into the canals (not under the Rialto Bridge). 30 minutes and then it's done but that's what I wanted. Cheaper to buy on getyourride than on site depending on the currency so it was good.

We had some trouble getting to the location because we didn't know we had to take a taxi from outside of Venice which made us late. Ultimately, it was our fault for not doing more research, but we would have appreciated a bigger heads up in the directions for those who were not already in that area of Venice. Otherwise, it was a great time and we enjoyed ourselves!!

This worked well for me as a solo traveller as the usual prices meant it wouldn't have been an option for me on my own. Bit of a guided tour on the way to the Gondola ride which was quite serene once we were on our way. A bit of waiting around so you need to allow a couple of hours taking everything into consideration. The gallery at the end was well worth staying for, you really felt that you were there and had gone back in time with the 3D experience.

We signed up for a gondola tour. Did not realize there would be another brief tour as we walked to the gondola docks. That was ok, but our primarty reason was to take a gondola ride. We enjoyed the gondola ride, however there was no interaction with the gondolier. Personally was not looking to be entertained by him or have an extensive conversation, but not even a welcome, hello or thank you.

The canal tour was great and was a quick way to see the city by boat. Overall, I enjoyed the tour for the views that it provided. However, the logistics of the tour were a nightmare. After purchasing tickets, I was informed that I should go to a meeting spot and that I would be picked up there. The site also stated that a mobile voucher would be okay to use. That was not the case at all. You actually have to go to the ticketing office and show your mobile voucher there. The person working there will then give you a physical voucher and will tell you which boat to board. That was 100% not clear, but the company and workers remained adamant that it was. Because of the confusion, my family and I missed our tour, but luckily we were able to join the next one thanks to a helpful member of the company. So as long as you follow my instructions (and not the instructions on the website / confirmation e-mail) you'll be fine.

The trip was in a beautifully restored fishing boat - a picture perfect way to spend several hours exploring the other islands. Watching glass blowing on Murano was fascinating, but you do need to be strong to resist the underlying pressure to spend money in the shop afterwards. Burano with its colourful houses was simply stunning and Torcello was so peaceful, it seemed to offer the perfect escape from the pressures of our busy lives. Our guide was charming and unobtrusive - I would definitely recommend this as a great way of exploring the smaller islands.

A beautiful RIVA type boat, all in wood, much better than the photo ;-)) The guide was great, full of anecdotes, attentive and discreet at the same time. Seeing Venice from the lagoon and the Grand Canal is an experience in itself, in addition to the interest of the other cities visited. Murano: for its glassmakers Burano: for its pretty colored houses To do ABSOLUTELY !!

Beautiful day ! We were welcomed at the point established by mr. Manola, an exquisite person, prepared and extremely available, who accompanied us throughout the tour. First stop on the island of Murano: visit to the glass factory. Mr. Fabio, very kind, explained to us step by step the demonstration of a master glassmaker who created three beautiful objects for us. After a pleasant walk on the island we took the boat and went to Burano Manola, our super guide, made us visit the island by telling us and showing us a lot of interesting things After circumnavigating the island of Torcello (we chose not to go down) we returned to Venice enjoying the spectacle of the setting sun Beautiful, well organized, highly recommended experience, which we will definitely do again! a special thanks to Manola who made our trip special !!

This was fantastic and totally worth the money! My husband and I traveled to Rome, Florence and Venice in July 2018. We were on a budget and didn't want to bust the budget, so went with the "shared" gondola option and then splurged to have the serenade option. The experience was unforgettable and easily the best part of our whole trip! The singer and the man with the accordion had great chemistry and were constantly interacting w/ my husband and I. I thought the 20 mins sounded kinda short, but it ended up being the perfect amount of time. Do it at sunset around 7:30 if possible. Highly recommend this to all my family members and friends, it was simply enchanting and something my husband and I will never forget!

It started 10 m-minutes late, but there were also 10 minutes longer, sometimes you say two, sometimes four and sometimes six people in one gondola, more than ten gondolas went from the main canal to a side canal and then it went back there, the singers and the instrument players you could hear the gondola took turns so that everyone could enjoy it) was far away of course you couldn't bike that much so 50 percent music guarantee

According to the ad we booked with this company as they offered 6 passengers. Fine only 5 but questioned. They were extremely rude and argued with us re our booking, paper vouchers and electronic proof of purchase. After an hour they realized we were not Leaving so put us in boats. 3 of us were with the musicians and had fun but the others couldn’t hear the music well as the gondolier was on his cell the whole time. Our gondolier was yelling at us when we were getting out. Take your chances

I thought the trip was very good... it was quite bouncy and there was a long wait in the queue before boarding but the guys were brilliant at getting everyone on and off the boats. The trip itself wasn't very long, but the singer and the accordion were audible across all the gondolas and the journey through the grand canal followed by a number of smaller canals was very good. Everyone who heard the singing or accordion music was smiling and waving and even some danced by the side of the river - overall a very good vibe - feel good trip. Glad we did it.
