We did not visit any pubs. The guide said that was not part of the tour, so we were somewhat dissapointed. The red light district tour was interesting. The guide was knowledgeable. There was a big soccer match that night, so the whole area was swarming with people, which wasn't ideal.

The meeting place was easy to find. We were a small group which enabled us to stay together easily and I was able to hear all the information clearly. David our guide was informative engaging and when appropriate amusing in his delivery of the history and evolution of the area. The beer was also nice but potent for a pensioner. A couple of hours well spent.

I don't remember the name of the guide but it was a tour in Spanish and in consideration of the best guides because they provide historical and cultural data that goes beyond what is applied in the tour... I recommend taking it, it is a good choice and thus you will be informed when passing through the red light district and the cofre shop

Our guide Pedro was extremely knowledgeable. He shared many facts about Amsterdam that were related to the red light district as well as many other historical facts and events related to Amsterdam. Also we had originally been scheduled for a 6:00 time slot and he welcomed us to join him with another small group at 4:00 . Thanks Pedro
