The bike ride is a lot of fun but a bit stressful because the traffic in many parts of the city is chaotic, and if you are not used to foot brakes it is a bit unnerving. I suggest the use of bikes with brakes on the handlebars ... Our guide Scarlett, however, was very good and nice

I was in Amsterdam yesterday with my girlfriend and spontaneously booked this shoot the day before. We have only had positive experiences with this booking and would like to recommend it at this point! The booking was uncomplicated, the meeting point was easy to find and the whole process was relaxed. Our photographer Yogesh supported us the whole time and took really great shots. Very good tour. The group was small, so the guide (I don't remember his name, but he was an artist and half from the Netherlands and half from Spain) was able to teach us in a personalized way how to use the fixed gear bikes and was always concerned about us. You get a beautiful view of Amsterdam as the locals do, accompanied by the guide's useful and precise comments. 100% recommended the tour.

We ended up having a private tour due to no one else booking onto our trip. Our guide was fantastic, very informative and answered all of our questions. We learned alot about Amsterdams dark history and were able to see the changes around us as identified by our guide. Would deffently go again, fantastic tour and worth every cent!

What an experience to ride a bike in Amsterdam being a tourist, but definitely would repeat. We went to sides of the city that I wouldn’t know if I hadn’t gone in bike because of the distance. Also, visiting with a local provides you a better understanding and point of view of the pros and cons of living in such a remarkable place. The guide was super patient with all of us, considering the fact that riding a bike is not part of a day to day of some people.

Ruben was an excellent guide! He was both knowledgeable and excited about the city history. He waited anytime someone got stuck behind because of a red light. When a chain fell off one of the bikes and one bike got a flat tire, he quickly addressed both situations. The bikes were very comfortable and I didn’t have any issues with mine. It was a beautiful day in a beautiful city for a great ride.

If you want to feel like a "real Amsterdammer" on a bike, you should book this tour. Very nice guide, seen a lot - BUT: the Dutchman doesn't know the 1.5 m overtaking distance, that's more like 0.5 m. Mostly you're on bike paths, where you split the road, it gets damn narrow. Our children are 8 and 12, so watching it as parents makes you sweat. Furthermore, it is sometimes difficult to follow the guide in full traffic, so a high-visibility vest or, for example, a flag on the bike would be useful.

This was a really interesting bike tour which took in a large part of the old part of Amsterdam. The tour guide, Bas, gave a good amount of information and made sure everyone was included. He tried hard to find a couple of people who lost the group but they found us late. Thank you, Bas, for an informative and enjoyable tour. It made Amsterdam a much more interesting city.
