The beautiful surroundings and the fun atmosphere is let down by the men who were staring at and groping girls and furthermore the security guards who shrugged their shoulders when one girl complained about being groped. I would recommend anyone going to be careful attending these events and always go in a group.

Excessively expensive party. All drinks 15 euros. Pool water full of pee and even some vomit. But I highly recommend this unique experience. The party is scary. 10 ++

Imagine spending an unforgettable night at Budapest's most celebrated thermal spa, the Széchenyi Spa & Baths. Renowned for their summer night spa parties, these 'sparties' offer a fusion of relaxation and vibrant nightlife. From 9:30 PM to 2:00 AM, guests can revel in the warm waters of 34-38 degrees Celsius, experiencing Hungarian spa culture like never before. The Széchenyi Thermal Spa transforms into a party hub where guests can choose from a variety of ticket options to tailor their party experience.

What are Bath Parties in Budapest?

Budapest Bath Parties, or 'Sparties,' are a unique blend of the city's traditional and modern spa culture, set in the iconic Széchenyi Baths. These after-hours events feature triphop, funk, and psychedelic music, enhanced with colorful laser beams and visual effects. Guests can enjoy alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and a variety of ticket options offer different amenities like locker rooms and changing areas. The SpartyPay Card, a waterproof payment card, is used exclusively for purchases within the party, making it a convenient way to buy drinks and spa equipment.

How Bathing Parties are Held in Széchenyi Baths

The Széchenyi Bath Parties, held mostly on Saturdays, are a vibrant mix of music, dance, and thermal bathing. Originating from a concept by Laszlo L. Laki in 1998, these events have become a hallmark of Budapest nightlife. The parties take place in the warm outdoor pools of the Széchenyi Baths, providing a unique setting that combines historical charm with modern entertainment. Guests can indulge in the thermal baths, enjoy the music, and partake in the lively atmosphere.

Spa Parties in Budapest in Winter

Contrary to what one might think, the Budapest spa parties are not just a summer affair. They are equally, if not more, exciting during winter, with special events even on holidays like Christmas and New Year's Eve. The cold weather adds a special charm to the experience, as guests can dance and relax in the warm thermal waters while the winter chill lingers outside.
