The day from beginning to end was a blast. Great tour guides who kept chatting to the coach passengers all day, making us laugh throughout. The coach itself was lovely too. The sights were amazing, given enough time to see and take in each. We were so lucky with the weather, sunshine all day.

We scheduled our visit to the Blue Lagoon for 8 am on the day we left Iceland. I was advised to do this as the Lagoon is only like 10 minutes from the airport. Let me tell you this, it is worth the drive to Reykjavik and back to be able to spend as much time here as you like. I only got to spend about an hour and I could have stayed all day! I went early and would recommend doing so as it fills up quickly, the mud mask is very nice as are the changing facilities. There are hairdryers and wet bags and shampoo and conditioner. Definitely listen when they say to put conditioner on wet hair because it is hard to comb through it after the Lagoon. Take a wet bag for your phone because you will want pictures!

Slick operation and smart set-up. Everyone gets issued with a coloured wristband depending on the package you bought - right on arrival. This wristband also operates your locker (don’t forget the number)and indicates which facepack you get offered once in the lagoon and the entitlement to a drink in the lagoon bar area.. I found the lack of benches/cubicles for changing a failing and on the comfort(basic) package you won’t be issued with a towel until you come out of the water (which makes you feel quite exposed to the elements until you are immersed in the water) The more expensive package entitles you to a robe and slippers(still not worth the extra cost). The water is cloudy, lovely and warm but only about waist high. The space is immense and it was a relaxing experience. It didn’t feel quite as natural as I hoped. A lot more Center Parks than nature bath.

It was a really long day but our driver and guide HBO was amazing. He found a great balance between providing us with information about iceland and quiet time in between for us to take in the sights. He was happy to answer any questions we had about iceland. The tour was great even though the weather was really disappointing. It’s a great way to take in the sights within a day.

Our guide Geri and driver Pietr were lovely. The whole experience was on time, and both Geri and Pietr made the whole group feel at ease and we set off our journey with positivity. There was lots of information to take in as Geri was very knowledgeable The places we visited were astounding and worthwhile; definitely worth doing the tour!

This trip is a must if you are visiting Iceland for a short time as you get to see so much in one day. The bus was very new and comfortable and also has usb sockets and wifi which was a bonus. Our tour guide and driver was called Brian and he was excellent, a very knowledgeable man who told you a lot of very interesting information and fun facts which made the trip so much more enjoyable, you could tell he loved his job and Iceland and he really made this a 5 star trip. I definitely recommend this to anyone

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! Worth every penny! From start to end we were amazed with the sites and our tour guide (we forgot his name). This is the ideal tour if you’re in Iceland for a short period of time because you will get to see the most popular tourist sites with added bonuses! Highly recommended and without a doubt the best tour ever! Thank you for an amazing experience.
