Details

Take a day trip from Reykjavik to see the Golden Circle. While you visit attractions like the Strokkur geyser, Gullfoss Waterfall, and Þingvellir National Park, your audio guide will provide you with fascinating information. A snowmobile tour takes you through the Langjökull Glacier's ice fields.

In a brand-new bus with computer tablets in each seat, depart Reykjavik early to enjoy the sunrise. Stay connected with the onboard USB chargers and free Wi-Fi, as well as the GPS-sensitive audio guide that is available in ten languages in the bus.

Þingvellir National Park, home to the world's longest-running parliament, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the shores of Iceland's largest lake, you can clearly see where the great continental plates of America and Eurasia have dramatically separated to form a rift valley.

The original geyser's home can be found if you continue on to Geysir Hot Springs. Experience the ground shaking and observe the Strokkur geyser's periodic eruptions of superheated water into the sky.

Walk down to Gullfoss Waterfall in peace. As the glacial Hvá River plunges 32 meters on two levels into a narrow canyon, you can hear its thunderous roar.

On a custom-built super truck, marvel at the pristine central highlands. Their enormous tires enable them to drive over the snowy, rough terrain.

At the base of the Langjökull Glacier, take a drive to the snowmobile base camp. After that, take a guided snowmobile tour and ride across one of the world's largest glaciers' eternally frozen snow and ice fields.

We had a wonderful time seeing the beautiful landscape. The guides kept us entertained throughout the journey with interesting facts and trivia about Iceland, its geography, history and folklore. The absolute highlight of our entire trip, however was the snowmobiling at the end of the Golden Circle tour. My only complaint would be that this part was too short...one hour seemed to fly by. The scenery at the top of the glacier absolute magical.

The day from beginning to end was a blast. Great tour guides who kept chatting to the coach passengers all day, making us laugh throughout. The coach itself was lovely too. The sights were amazing, given enough time to see and take in each. We were so lucky with the weather, sunshine all day.

Fascinating tour, with a very well put together audio guide provided by Karen and a comfortable drive provided by Gregor. Came away from the tour much more informed about Iceland, the Icelandic way of life, its people, history, geology...the lot! The sights on the tour were amazing to see and experience and well worth the money. It was a shame about the cancelled snowmobile tour, but we received a partial refund so not out of pocket.

An experiential day to see a few sights and sledge to the Longjökull glacier. The break at the Geysirs could have been a little longer and we would have had time to eat. Now I had to buy bread in a hurry and eat them in a cramped bus. The guide JoJo was a professional guide with a good sense of humor.

Fabulous day out. Despite a mix up in the pick-up location, I received a call and was picked up from a different location with no further issues. Quite a lot of time on the coach so judge coffee and toilet breaks accordingly. The order in which the activities took place was Þingvellir NP, geyser, snow mobiling, gullfoss. The guide on the coach was very knowledgeable and has clearly been doing this a while - great balance between pointing out sights and not over-doing the commentary. I've no idea why the prep for this activity said to bring headphones - simply no need. The Golden Circle is a must do for any traveller to Iceland, and the snow mobiling was the cherry on the cake. Loved it. A note on clothing: it's all provided, but it's still totally freezing and I did have trouble with the throttle as my thumb went numb a few times despite the dedicated heating for it and I was not alone. Bring sunglasses. Still, no pleasure without a little pain. Highly recommend it

The entire tour took the whole day as stated. We went in March and it was raining and wet all day. Our guide, Karen, was friendly and informative. Despite the rain, it was a good tour. We ran out of time and was running late due to the weather and road conditions. We almost missed our chance to see the Gulfoss waterfalls, but they accommodated us and gave us extra time for us to be able to see it. The snowmobiling was fun. We just wish the visibility wasn’t so low, so we could have enjoyed the sceneries and perhaps even go faster. But again, that’s beyond the control of the tour company. Everyone was nice and friendly and made up for the cold, rainy and low visibility day.

Magical experience. A long day but every minute was worth it. Getting a balaclava for your face when on snowmobile is a good idea as the wind can be extremely cold against your face. Also good idea to bring a packed lunch or snacks for the bus as a lot of time is spent traveling.

Really great experience! Snowmobile was cancelled due to weather which was disappointing but can’t blame the tour for that. All the locations were amazing, worth every penny. I would 100% recommend checking weather and carrying extra socks or hoodie just in case. We got completely soaked and had to travel back drenched which was really uncomfortable but we knew better for the next tour! Our tour guide was funny too! PG if I remember correctly? Got some great pictures and memories.

Loved, loved, loved this tour !!! This was amazing from start to finish. The pick up was on time. Raga was our bus guide, informative...but a bit sharp !!! No prisoners taken!!! A long day but worth it. It was lovely to see the national park. We really enjoyed the experience of seeing the Geysir. Soooo enjoyed the big truck ride up to the snowmobile base. The truck driver a nice, kind gentleman, big in stature and nature. He got us to the snowmobile base safe and sound on treacherous roads. The snowmobiling ride was amazing. We were looking forward to this so much and it didn't let us down. It was such fun. Following this activity, we trucked it back down to Gullfoss Waterfall. The waterfall is breathtaking...as was the cold, windy, wet/snowy weather when we were there...!!!! We didn't expect it to be as good as it was but it was absolutely stunning. The sheer power of the water was amazing. We would totally recommend this tour. It seems expensive but it's not for all the activities.
