Clare is a very friendly, vibrant and informative tour guide. I highly recommend this tour. Size of the group was just right.

Our tour guide, Janet, was amazing! So nice to hear in detail facts about Van Gogh. Totally worth it in my opinion.

Clare was a wonderful guide! I originally only did the guided tour because tickets were sold out for the other days I was there so this was the only way to get in. However, I have to say doing the guided tour elevated the whole experience tremendously and I'm so grateful I went this route. Clare's insight into Van Gogh's work and life added a whole new dimension to everything we saw.

I thought it was great…our tour guide was VERY knowledgeable and very passionate and she helped us all enjoy our tour.

The tour was very good, There were a lots of Van Gogh's art collection in the museum, especially the sun flowers. Our guide was very knowledgeable about his art works and his life stories behind many of his paintings, She explained many of Van Gogh's paintings with detailed background stories, and his relationship with other artists. Even we read books about Van gogh before, we still learned a lot from it. We highly recommend this tour for anyone is interested about Van Gogh.

I was initially hesitant to sign up as I really just wanted a ticket for the museum. However, I am now so happy that I took the tour. I think I got so much more out of the museum experience with the guide than I would have on my own. Janet was an excellent tour guide and a wealth of information on Van Gogh’s life, family, and his art. I really loved every moment.

get in the queue early so you can get a window seat otherwise you will have strangers taking 409 selfie in your photos of historic buildings and bridges

I really enjoyed the trip. We drove past typical sights like the Anna Frank House. It was really nice to see Amsterdam in this way.

The canal tour itself was fine. We were a little annoyed that the audio guide and the captain explained things at the same time. You couldn't hear both at the same time. The audio guide didn't really fit the tour either. Sometimes things were explained that you didn't see at all because you had already passed by or they came much later than announced or we had to take a different route because of the heavy traffic. We can't recommend the tour in rain or drizzle. The windows had to stay closed and the drops made it pretty difficult to see out. Next time we would like to do a canal tour in good weather and in one of the older canal boats.

They were very punctual and with the highway in Spanish we sailed through the three main canals of Amsterdam, seeing everything very comfortably from the boat and sheltering from the rain. Highly recommended

Good value for money. The boats are filled quickly, with no breaks in between, no long waiting times. No one has to stay on the quay and be "devastated" (quote from another review). The audio guide was appropriate (GPS-oriented) and the instructions from our "captain" were useful.

Was a nice boat ride. However the audio part of the door wasnt aligned with where we were on the canals so got confusing and had already gone past some of the places before it had told us about it

It was a very nice evening and an hour was more than enough. However, it was very tight and crowded.

Great facts and language options with souvineer…lots of room and easy booking

To put it bluntly…. The tour guide was absolutely great and made a lot of effort. Had books with me and lots of background facts. What I'm disappointed about is that it said you can enjoy the tour away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. That was absolutely not the case. The museum was very crowded and the ambient noise was so loud that we sometimes couldn't understand our guide. So the goal of the expensive price has not been achieved. A pity

Our guide Anna was exceptional. Her knowledge was through the roof. We thoroughly enjoyed her.

Very good contact with the guide Édouardo. Very interesting visit. Well constructed exhibition. Concise wall explanations. Very beautiful, well-maintained building. Easy access for people with reduced mobility. Interesting explanations from the guide. Very good organization from start to finish.

Excellent guide so interesting and answered all our question i think his name was Fernando wonderful and highly recommend.

Edwardo very well informed loved his job and we would happily take additional tours he might be leading. He was constantly concerned that all of our questions were answered and understood.

I really enjoyed it. My only complaint (and it's no fault of the guys in charge) is that they were trying to speak about various things and many passengers weren't listening and talking over him. If it is to be a tour where the guide was going to speak a lot to passengers, perhaps a microphone to be loud enough for everyone.

A so-so tour. Couldn’t see out of the boat windows because they were so misted up. Couldn’t hear the guides well at all as they remained at one end of the boat - a microphone was definitely needed. Spent more time selling drinks than sharing knowledge of the city. The tour needs a revamp - I’m sure we weren’t alone in wanting a running commentary of the sights we passed, local knowledge, history etc. not a great tour.

A Great trip! A beautiful boat with great hosts! Very easy to find and everyone was kind and welcoming to us on board. A great skipper and our host made beautiful drinks that were incredible value for money! Lots of great information was given with Some memorable moments! Would go back In a heartbeat!

The tour guide was amazing. The communication was amazing. Everyone was so positive on the boat. I loved the views we got to see I loved the energy the vibes and it made me feel really comfortable because I solo travelled and I didn’t feel like I was alone I will be happy to use their services again in the future. This was so fun! The guides were funny and knowledgeable. The perfect way to end our trip to Amsterdam.

It was quite okay. There were cans of Heineken and wine to choose from. I was hoping to learn something about the city, but the trip was conducted in silence. Unfortunately, it rained all over our benches, so at some point we were soaking wet in the boat. Quite nice for the price in good weather.

We liked it very much. The drinks were good. Unfortunately, you didn't get as much information about the city as on other canal trips. The group was very pleasant and funny. The guides were our age and very open. We would do it again. :)

Really enjoyed the boat trip and our guide radi was really informative, laid back and had a few interesting points and funny comments, she made us feel relaxed and we really enjoyed the ride, the only down fall was we couldn’t really see where we were going given the sides were down and it had been raining.

Lovely guide from Oklahoma, in depth knowledge of the area. Got to meet some really cool people from different countries while on board which made the experience that much better.

We had a great tour today with Anna to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh. We learned so much and she had such good stories and photos to share. We would do in heartbeat again.

The guide, i am not sure his name.. and Italian.. was excellent.. He not only knew a great deal about the paintings and the history, but he was friendly and helpful. By the time i got to the Van Gogh museum i could no longer walk. He got me a wheelchair and pushed me all through the museum. He helped us on the elevators and finding the facilities. My visit to Amsterdam was for only two nights. I’m an artist, so the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum were the most important attractions on my list. Due to its popularity, I wasn’t aware I had to purchase Van Gogh tickets in advance online. I was so disappointed. Luckily I found this small group tour and signed up. Our guide, Marjoke was very pleasant and informative. She spoke perfect English and was educated about art history. She took us on a very interesting tour with an educational backstory of the important pieces of art. I left the tour with a broader understanding of the art and Van Gogh himself. My only frustration was some of our participants were late and we had to use precious time waiting for them! Also, the tour didn’t include the special Rembrandt exhibition at the Rijks but luckily we were able to get tickets. That should be clear in the description. Marjoke was an excellent tour guide! I’d recommend this tour.

Paola was a knowledgeable and pleasant guide. While exploring the museum, I also learned much about the paintings and history of Amsterdam. One of the best guides I've had in the man cities I've visited.

Great food! Super nice service. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with another guest who misbehaved completely. The good man had probably already looked too deeply into the glass beforehand. You have to expect something like that... The trip is still highly recommended. Amsterdam is a dream, especially at night. 😀

We enjoyed the cruise on the canals of Amsterdam but thought the seating arrangements were a bit chaotic The commentary was difficult to hear as we sailed through the different areas of the city with the amount of people talking The food was good but would advise that the plates should have been warmed prior to serving We had the fish option and were also given plenty of wine during the cruise The staff were pleasant on what seemed a difficult job seating people which could have been solved if people had been allocated specific seats prior to boarding We would like to make a special mention to Lucy who was very helpful and pleasant

A wonderful, romantic dinner. We ate very well and drank unlimited good CHARDONNAY wine. The crew on board took great care. We shared our table with another couple so a little less intimate but we had the place next to the windows and were able to admire the view. We have very good memories of it. We recommend 100%

There was a lot of processing at the beginning, but it was very nice on the boat. Relatively loud atmosphere, but you quickly forget that. Very tasty food and great wine. The service staff was very attentive and quick. Great impressions at night.

A very enjoyable boat trip through the Amsterdam canals. Nice dinner, nice music and top crew. This was the perfect choice for celebrating a 50th birthday. More than satisfied.

We really love this activity ! Taylor was so funny and nice we had a really good time and even came back for the night cruise. They even let my friend drive the boat . 100% worth it

Tito and Euka were amazing hosts, myself and 3 friends from Ireland had so much fun and was the best thing we did on our visit to Amsterdam.

The trip was very pleasant and both the skipper and our guide were great, you could tell that they knew their way around well and they both also had a sense of humor. The route was good and there were enough drinks on board. Unfortunately, when it rains you can't see so well through the tarpaulin, but it was still interesting. When the sun is shining, the tour is definitely perfect.

We opted for the unlimited alcohol package and it was great fun. We did the cruise at night and seeing the city under the lights was an awesome experience. Our guides Luke and Belinda were amazing too. I would definitely recommend!

The boat trip is fine and one gets to see Amsterdam from the water. We did not like the experience from this company. The guide was probably new and didn't know much. Just explained a couple of spots. i have had better ones.

Van Gogh in a 2hrs nutshell - perfectly presented by Mr Everet van Eijk - excellent knowledge very refined and funny presented - was a pleasure - thanks to him - we can highly recommend him

Rolf is well studied in Van Gogh’s life, works and techniques. He speaks perfect English (having lived in NYC), and was able to quickly gauge our group’s intersest and tailor our visit accordingly. This is a very busy museum, particularly in the Summer, and having a guide like Rolf to manage your time, focusing on the interesting and important pieces was invaluable. Highly recommend!

We had a great tour with Rolf. He was very informative and pointed out so many things about the art it was very insightful. All three of us had a great time and he worked us through the crowd very well. It was great just being in a small group, gave up plenty of time to ask question. If you are going to the Van Gogh Museum .... go with Rolf !!

Rolf Schreuder was an excellent guide through the. An Gogh museum! When I booked the tour several weeks in advance, he immediately contacted me. He got a "No Wait" entry ticket. His tour was Excellent. He is energetic and very knowledgable about Vincent Van Gogh. You will definitely enjoy a trip around the museum with him

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Bart. Very knowledgable. Lots of in depth stories and anecdotes made the paintings come to life.

My daughter and I had such a great experience with Rolf as our guide. He had so very much information and told us information we would not have received with an audio. We thought of was extremely knowledgeable about Vincent. He began the tour with various portraits of the artist. He quickly ascertain our extant knowledge of the artist and elaborated well beyond our knowledge base. We would not hesitate to recommend him to others and highly regarded by his professionalism.

Rolf was an amazing tour guide thru the Van Gogh museum. His art history knowledge as well as Dutch history made the two hours very pleasant. We walked away with a wealth of information. Highly recommend taking this tour!

Great tour! Unable to find tickets that were available for the museum, we booked this private tour. We will never book again without a private tour!! Rolf was so informative. We learned so much more. We had an 11yr old with us and Rolf kept him engaged and made it a fun learning experience. Definitely recommend this tour! Thank you!

Check in was difficult, we were constantly being sent to a different departure point.

The captain was great. Wasn't boring at all. Was fun to listen to.

Humorous captain. On the boat you sit very close together. Info was poor, sometimes the same text came in different places. All in all ok, but I expected more.

Very hard-working tour guide or captain. Spoke a few words from time to time (apart from the audio system), unfortunately difficult to understand without a microphone. But the audio system worked perfectly

Perfect! Great joining instructions, easy to find. A lovely experience with an experienced host who made us welcome and looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble. For example securing vegetarian snacks for one guest and dropping us back close to our accommodation. I would highly recommend using them. From start to finish they were perfect hosts. Thank you

The canal cruise in Amsterdam was an unforgettable experience that I recommend to everyone. The quaint buildings and bridges along the canals were stunning and our captain was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Particularly impressive was the member of staff Martin who made our experience even better by impressing us with his knowledge and friendliness. Complimentary drinks on board also added to the pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

The canal tour was very successful. There were enough drinks on site. However, it was a mixed plate with snacks and not three Bitterballen per person, which was not agreed. The boat was 15 minutes late, but we were informed about this. A photo of the jetty for better orientation would have been nice and would have made things easier. The driver was probably already looking forward to the end of the day.

Our guide, Bas, was excellent! Not only did he guide us safely through the streets, he shared much about the history of Amsterdam along with some interesting and fun facts. I highly recommend this tour.

We were very disappointed - the tour was called hidden backyards and treasures, which for us do not include the Rijksmuseum, Vondelpark and the Anne Frank House. Tour was scheduled for 3 hours plus a 30 minute break. 30 minutes became 50 minutes and then the tour was already over after 2.5 hours ... also many large, busy roads were crossed, which is not really fun with 10 group participants ... we would not do this tour again .

Great tour, a definite must for seeing Amsterdam, would recommend taking this tour and a boat cruise to get a great taste of Amsterdam. Guide was very kind and did a great job answering people’s questions and keeping our group together in the busy areas.

It's very good. Another approach by bus compared to the cruise. I recommend both, bus plus cruise.

Unfortunately, the stop where we wanted to get on wasn't marked, so we walked to the train station to get on at the "main stop". Apparently we could have just waited, but without a board or something we had no way of knowing.

There were a lot of duplications between the tour guide hop-on/hop-off bus and the boat. The text was basically in a continuous loop and information was very scarce.

In principle very cool to get a quick overview of Amsterdam, unfortunately compared to other cities there is little information about the audio guide - you get more information through guided tours.

It's always very interesting to tour the city with the hop on hop off bus. It allows you to have a broad vision of the city and its extent. In addition, the comments allow you to learn about the history of the city. Absolutely do on the first day so you know what you're going to do next.
