If you enter the Dubai mall from the subway, then go straight to the elevator and go down to the LG floor. Mall employees (security guards) will show the direction of the entrance to the check-in counters, just ask about the ticket to Burj Khalifa. Be prepared for queues for ascent and descent, there are few people in the elevator.
