Begin your Impressionist journey by meeting your knowledgeable, fully licensed guide in front of the museum. You and/or your group can skip the ticket lines and enter the building to begin your tour, avoiding the hassle of waiting in line.

Take a guided tour through each and every one of the Orsay Museum's rooms that are open to the public. While you're inside, take in the Impressionist era's wonders and see famous paintings by Van Gogh, Monet, and many others. Your knowledgeable guide will use his or her expertise to help you better understand this particular artistic movement.

In the original Belle Epoque restaurant that opened in 1900 in the Orsay station, stop by the gallery restaurant to have a delicious lunch with wine. A fitting way to end your memorable tour is to savor the traditional French fare while admiring the sparkling chandeliers. If you want, you can return to the galleries on your own after lunch with your admission ticket to further explore the collection or perhaps see a special exhibition.

This has been the second time we have had a guided tour of Musee D’Orsay. While both were highly focused on detail and very informative, Jessica had a unique approach and depth that was well focused and meaningful.

Good tour. Guide was on-time, meeting location easy to find. Group entry allowed us to avoid a long line for general admission. Guide gave understandable explanations, good for new to intermediate level of prior knowledge of impressionism. Meal in the museum's restaurant was enjoyable and convenient.

We thoroughly enjoyed this museum. The pieces were beautiful and our guide was great. We did the tour with the gourmet meal which is a big jump in price from the package that is just the tour. The pro for the meal was that you get to skip the long line, and after the tour, you do need to rest your feet, and also the restaurant was very beautiful. The con is that it was not very good food and for what it costs, I was very underwhelmed. Also, we had to order from a fixed menu, while we saw other dishes that looked far more appetizing. If I visited the Orsay again, I would do the tour, but skip the meal.

The tour was excellent. Our guide was Sophie, who did an amazing job explaining the Impressionist paintings that we saw, both in terms of the historical context of each painting and the unique aspects of each painting. Everyone in our party came away with a new understanding and appreciation of the paintings that we saw. It was like getting a college lecture about the paintings specifically and the Impressionism movement generally. It was a tremendous experience, and we could have listened to Sophie for another 2 hours! We had added on the lunch after the tour; it was a great choice; with immediate seating and delicious food. I definitely recommend this add-on option.
