Private Tour to Karlovy Vary

The itinerary of the excursion to Karlovy Vary will start from the meeting point in Prague at 9:00 am. The trip will take about 2 hours to reach the town of Karlovy Vary.

Arriving at Karlovy Vary we will notice that it is located in a valley surrounded by forests. We will go down to our car park. After parking we will continue to the Spa (Lázně) number I, where we will start the guided tour explaining the history of this town. We will visit buildings such as the Grand Hotel Pupp, various colonnades such as: The "Market" colonnade, the "Geiser" colonnade, the neo-renaissance colonnade of "El Molino", the "Liberty" colonnade and finally the neo-baroque colonnade of "The Park". The colonnades cover the fountains and springs of Karlovy Vary. Each colonnade is of a different material and architectural style.

We will pass by the five spa pavilions whose mineral/thermal waters were known for their great healing power. We can also see and taste typical local products such as Becherovka liqueur, wafers and the famous Bohemian crystal. In the spa town of Karlovy Vary, "the crystal of kings" of the Moser brand is produced.

At the end of the tour the guide will suggest you a place to have lunch. You will have some free time, previously arranged with the guide, and at the end of the tour we will drive 2 hours back to the meeting point in Prague.
