Our guide, Bella, was lovely. She was always trying to lighten the group’s mood with jokes and making small talk during the boat ride. She happily answered all our questions, and she offered to take photos of our family multiple times throughout the tour. They give you 30 minutes to have a look around the market and you get to see the Big Buddha during this trip too. We got to feed the fish and do some market shopping. My parents were also able to meet a monk, which was the highlight of the tour for them. The tour is short but is as described.

It is an amazing way to see parts of Bangkok from an incredible vantage point. The Buddha was beautiful to see, I even had the chance to feed catfish when we stopped to explore the canal market & have a beer delivered to the boat by a local floating merchant.

Long tail boat through the canals of Bangkok. Fascinating seeing river life and the 69 metre golden Buddha was incredible. Slightly disappointed with the Artists House - thought it would be similar to Jim Thompson’s house but rather a tourist trap. Pam our guide was great and very informative. Would definitely recommend.

This longboat khlong tour was an interesting way to see a bit of Bangkok's canal-side life. Our nice guide, Fern, was helpful and managed things under sometimes challenging conditions. The only drawback was in the difficulty hearing her narration and announcements over the boat noises. But overall, a fun experience!

I’ve been to Bangkok many times, but never had an experience like this. Aeh was a truly amazing guide, he went above and beyond and he knew EVERYTHING. Aeh stayed attuned to my interests and dietary requirements, which made me feel very comfortable and kept the trip extremely interesting. He answered all my questions with professionalism and he pointed out things he somehow knew that I’d like. At first I thought the tour may be overpriced, but it’s worth penny. After the tour, Aeh dropped me off at a place I wanted to go but I didn’t know how to get to - he was just excellent and a great human being overall.

It was a fantastic trip and we had the modt wonderful guide! I tgink his name was Johanne. Would have liked more time at the Artist House but apart from that we absolutely loved it!

This was a fantastic half day tour. Would highly recommend. Started at 9 finished around 1 pm, perfect if you are looking for a half day tour. Our guide made us feel safe taking us on the back streets of the old Bangkok , Temples and food stop was very nice. Just a solid tour.

Our tour guide Patchara was oustanding. A lovely person with a vast local knowledge and a great sense of humour. We were picked up on time and taken to the River Chao Phraya where we boarded the express boat. After this we boarded two smaller boats a Long Tail boat and a rocket boat to navigate through the smaller canals. This gave us a fantastic insight into the rural waterways and lives of the local population. We also visited a market and a temple along the way and had a lovely meal beside the river. A great excursion which we'd thoroughly recommend, you won't regret it!

A fabulous tour with Jill who was super knowledgeable, attentive and funny. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this tour which included taste testing food at a local market - no other tourists anywhere so we got the real deal, enjoying traditional lunch at a small cafe on the river and the highlight for us was visiting the Buddhist Temple and learning so much about the Buddhas. Most of the sightseeing was on the Long Boat, passing many villages which was definitely a different experience. The tour took about 6 hours. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting something a bit different …. Worth every cent

We had such a great trip, such fun, great way of seeing Bangkok. We definitely recommend the cycle tour to others.

The long boat ride is an excellent experience, an opportunity to see a part of Bangkok you would otherwise not see. Our host, Bella, is informative, engaging, and funny. So glad we did this. It’s definitely worth the investment and then some.

Great way to see Thonburi old town. Bikes were great and the boat ride was amazing! We saw so much of the old town and stopped at Big Buddha for pictures. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area as he’s lived there his whole life. The lunch provided was delicious! Be aware, although the routes to bike on were not main roads, there was still some navigating around cars and also with motorbikes. We also went over many foot bridges and had to walk the bikes up several. If you’re not a strong bike rider I would hesitate on booking this. We loved it!!

Very sufficient and convenient. Is a must to use if you are going to all major attraction along the Chaopraya River.

This was a great tour that I would highly recommend. It’s a great introduction to Bangkok culture especially if you’re a little bit jetlagged and you’re looking to start your adventure but not overdue.

"This experience should not be missed!!! Most definitely the highlight of our stay in Bangkok!
Since it was off season, the canals were almost serene as we navigated through the village, in our long boat. The rocket boat, or as Jill calls it the 007 boat, was a blast!!! You must slow down, if you see villagers out on their dock areas, as the elders could be resting….
Jill, our guide, made our day very special, with her care and attention to detail, and with her knowledgeable and passionate understanding of the rural village. I wish I could give 100 stars!

Loved my experience. Our tour guide Yohan was so friendly, informative and funny he really made the experience special.

Excellent and unique Bangkok experience, we loved floating through the canals and enjoying views of Buddhist temples and teak houses. The lunch was authentic and very tasty. Thanks!

Great way to explore old Bangkok. Bo, our guide was friendly and looked after us well. We did the afternoon trip. Lunch was followed by boat trip, visit to big Buddha and cycling round mainly narrow lanes. Would definitely recommend this trip whilst staying in Bangkok.
Kenneth M.
Really nice easy tour with very good life jackets and great chatty guide. Would recommend and way cheaper than buying direct.

What a great morning! We went to markets and rode through tiny back streets that you would never know were even there. We rode along the river, got to explore markets, see a temple and ride along a canal to see a different perspective of houses and living. We even saw a few monitor lizards. We stopped and ate, food was marginal but the food is the least of the worries in Thailand, it's everywhere and you're not going to go hungry. Thank you to our wonderful guides. Thank you Tony!
Jo M.
This was a last minute booking, so didn't fully know what to expect. Actually had a great time, it was interesting to see another side to Bangkok. The big Buddha stop was good but the artists house area was great. Would have liked longer there but never mind. Be warned that it takes a little while to get through the canal lock but it's part of the fun!

I absolutely loved this outing. I saw so much and learnt a lot from our wonderful guide. It is definitely worth doing. You won’t regret going on this Boat Canal Cruise.
