Details

The tour starts directly at the Oberbaumbrücke at the harbor of the Solarwaterworld AG, in Friedrichshain Kreuzberg or at the Fischerinsel/Historischer Hafen in Berlin Mitte. Experience the highlights of the cityscape in an exclusive atmosphere. On the approx. 2,5 h tour we pass all sights of the city that can be seen from the water and spoil you with information, drinks and snacks. We pass the imposing Oberbaum Bridge, glide past the world-famous East Side Gallery and head to our next and only stop at the historic harbor on Fischerinsel in the Nikolai Quarter.

Immediately after that comes a highlight of the trip, the locking of the Suncat 46 through the Mühlendammschleuse. The next leg takes the solar ship further west down the Spree. Here, the world-famous cultural heritage Museum Island and the government district of Berlin with the Reichstag and the Federal Chancellery are revealed. Not much further, the main train station becomes visible, Berlin's architectural showpiece. The catamaran continues westward to the House of World Cultures, or as Berliners say: to the "pregnant oyster" there the ship turns around and travels the route back to the port of Solarwaterworld and then to Fischerinsel.

There is no sound system on the ship, as is usual for city tours. You will learn everything worth knowing via audio guides. It is available in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian. No loud engine noise will disturb you while exploring Berlin by water.

The Solar Catamaran is barrier-free.

A great crew who gave us a very nice time on the Spree. A successful alternative to the well-known tourist boats on which many more people are. The catamaran itself is also a great ship. Highly recommended if you want to experience a special boat trip. At this point, THANK YOU again.

The boat wasn't a catamaran. It was OK. I would bring food and drinks as there was not much on the boat. The audio comments were limited so it was not clear what we were seeing.

Amazing boat trip, very lovely!!! Captain and crew provided great service and did everything with a Smile :) it was also 2.5 hours on the water with drinks and food available at the bar, great value and time for how much the tickets cost. We even got an ashtray before we even got our cigar lit :) A definite reccomendation!

Punctual departure on a modern boat, which is kept in top condition by the very nice crew. Nice welcome drink, other drinks available onboard for a fee. Since we had already done the hop on hop off bus tour with countless information, the explanations were completely sufficient. Very very enjoyable, the silent solar-powered catamaran tour , presumably also better for climate , and with fewer passengers (than flat boats that look like ferries/charters ) feels really like heaven and quiet yacht . 2.5 hrs was just fine especially at end of the day (4pm start). Lots of choices of refreshments to purchase after the free welcome flavored cold soda drink! Could have a few more guide comments but all those available were interesting

Wonderful, quiet, genial trip! Great on-board hosts, drinks, bathroom, very comfortable. We would have loved more information in the audio guide: on buildings' design, architecture, history, as the other tours have. But we loved the small size and comfort of the craft!
