Details

Budapest has become a favorite backdrop for Hollywood blockbusters, and on this tour you’ll step right into the scenes of four iconic films — Gemini Man, Red Sparrow, Spy, and Die Hard. Visit the exact locations where key moments were shot and capture your own photos in the same settings, blending “on film” with “now.”

Along the way, you’ll also explore three of the city’s most celebrated landmarks — a historic building, a boulevard, and a square — all recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The day continues with a two-hour visit to Budapest’s most famous thermal bath, famously featured in Gemini Man and visited by Will Smith during filming. Relax in the naturally heated outdoor and indoor pools, or take advantage of the spa facilities.

As an added bonus, all film tour participants receive a complimentary one-year subscription to the RanXteR movie rating and ranking app, available on Google Play and the App Store.

Fisherman's Bastion
1 hour • Admission Ticket Included

This landmark is among the most beautiful and well-known sights in Budapest. It also served as a filming location for Gemini Man with Will Smith. From the top, you’ll enjoy sweeping views over the city and the Danube. Our walk continues along the Buda ledge, offering stunning panoramas of the river and the Pest side. Don’t miss the chance to capture a photo at the exact spot where the movie was filmed.

Andrassy Avenue
1 hour • Admission Ticket Free

Andrássy Avenue, one of Budapest’s most iconic boulevards, dates back to 1872 and connects Erzsébet Square with Városliget. The avenue is lined with stunning Neo-Renaissance mansions and townhouses, admired for their intricate facades and elegant interiors, and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002.

Today, Andrássy Avenue is also a vibrant cultural and shopping destination, featuring charming cafés, fine restaurants, historic theatres, embassies, and luxury boutiques. Notable landmarks along the boulevard include the Hungarian State Opera House, the Zoltán Kodály Memorial Museum and Archives, the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, and the Ferenc Hopp Museum of East Asian Arts.

Szechenyi Baths and Pool
2 hours • Admission Ticket Included

The Széchenyi Spa is Budapest’s largest and most famous thermal bath complex, where you can relax in pools, saunas, and jacuzzis — just like Will Smith did in Gemini Man. Construction of the spa began in 1909, and today six deep wells provide its naturally heated thermal water in the heart of Városliget.

The complex features three outdoor pools and 15 indoor pools, along with a range of medical treatments and day hospital services, making it a perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate during your visit.

Heroes' Square
1 hour • Admission Ticket Free

Heroes’ Square, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is adorned with statues of Hungary’s kings, princes, and notable leaders. This iconic location has also appeared in Hollywood films such as Die Hard and Red Sparrow, featuring Bruce Willis and Jennifer Lawrence.

After exploring the square, we take a leisurely walk through the beautiful City Park, enjoying its scenic paths and historic landmarks.

St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika)
1 hour • Admission Ticket Not Included

St. Stephen’s Basilica, named after Hungary’s founding king, St. Stephen, is one of the country’s most significant and impressive churches.

The basilica also appears in the movie The Spy, where Melissa McCarthy races past on her red scooter. It’s a perfect spot to capture stunning photos of this iconic landmark.
