The boat was lovely and warm. the service for drinks was prompt. The trip itself was interesting and enjoyable i would recommend to friends. My only grievance was that we were not handed the earphones to listen to the information about the points of interest. As we are Irish and english speaking. The earphones were lying in a basket by the entrance and a bit obscure. Otherwise all was good.

Very satisfied with everything....friendly people on the ships, everything was to our complete satisfaction...thank you.....

Excellent way to see the city while cruising on a boat. There is commentary in German as well but you can book audio guides in your language of choice.

An interesting and relaxing way of seeing some of the city's sights. Although the route - of necessity - limits what you see, it is a good way of getting an alternative and relatively "tourist free" view of such sights as the Reichstag and Museum Island. It also takes in parts of the Government areas of the city that one might not include on a walking tour with only limited time available. The online booking process was straightforward but do remember to pick up an audio guide as the commentary is in German. I forgot to do so but, to be honest, it didn't really affect our enjoyment of the cruise as even my very limited knowledge of the language was enough to allow me to follow the main points.

Here you will be personally greeted by the captain. We found this little boat trip through Berlin very good. A charming and funny on-board attendant told something in German and English about bridges and buildings along the Spree. Cool drinks were served on request and the entire staff on board was very friendly from boarding to docking. For this price a clear recommendation when visiting Berlin.

Great value for money! The tour start point is easy to find, with clear instructions. The audio guide is on the boat and does not require ear/headphones. The tour was in both German and English, is entertaining and informative. The Spree tour gives you an excellent opportunity to see the sights of the city by boat and with a different perspective. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was also an option to purchase refreshments, if desired. An excellent way to spend some time on your visit to Berlin.

This cruise is also in English, which is great. Very pleasant. One of the areas on the Spree was closed when we took the tour, but nonetheless, it was a good experience.

The boat was comfortable with good service by the bartender, good choice and fair prices. Interesting info provided by the guide, both EN & DE. One hour is exactly right for this trip, we got quite a different perspective of some unknown spectacular Berlin sites.

There was a nice 1 hour trip, with available drinks in board (pay at the end), nice description of the landmarks, also with a local approach, jokes and popular names for such. I enjoyed the well prepared speech that matched the length of the trip, as it wasn't nor too quick, nor to slow. Very friendly staff, English soeakers. Available onboard are sun/rain umbrellas. I had a great time.

Good. Easy meeting spot and lovely views. I just wish the volume was louder as the pre-recorded commentary couldn’t be heard very well and there wasn’t much background noise. So we missed all the information.

We booked this boat ride for the first day of our visit as an introduction to the city. There was audio information in German and English about points of interest along the route and it was clear to understand. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a selection of drinks onboard for purchase and we enjoyed the pretzels which had been freshly made.

The tour went as expected. It is a nice way to see parts of the city without being on your feet. It is pre-recorded in both German and english

We had a great time on this tour! We found the one hour length to be perfect for us. Our boat was very nice and had a bar on board with delicious, well-prices drinks. The bathrooms were not operational on our trip, but we were warned of this in advance so this was not an issue. The server was very friendly, and the recorded English and German audio broadcast complemented the route well. This was a highlight of our time in Berlin.

It was my first day in Berlin and booking this boat tour, helped orient me in knowing where most of the landmarks were near the river, Spree. It allowed me to see how diverse the architecture was in Berlin from a different perspective all while having a drink on the boat. I recommend taking this trip as soon as you get to Berlin!

Most beautiful tour in Berlin Mitte! The trip went past the Museum Island, through the government district under many bridges on a late Sunday afternoon in summer. Many dancers on the riverbank (swing, tango) and beach bars gave not only the informative content of the boat tour but also a nice Berlin feeling. Highly Recommended!

As described, a 1-hour cruise on the Spree with useful information about Berlin. You could order ice cream or a drink. Buying tickets online went smoothly and on site too. Proof of vaccination had to be shown or a negative test, but this was not noticeable on board when people were crawling so close. That was the only annoying thing. The staff was super nice and friendly.

Our boat tour was cancelled and i received fantastic help in finding availability for the next tour or either taking a voucher for something else. However after choosing to stay on the boat tour it was a lovely experience with very helpful and friendly staff. The commentary was also very clear and informative.

It was a lovely tour, there were short explanations about the sights in and in , and additionally we booked audioguides for my parents in Russian (one time use headphones are provided, if you have a pair you could bring it with you so that you also limit the cable waste) Prices are as on any other boat tour I would say. If you are a bigger group book a table in advance or go early as there might not be a free one left.

An absolutely wonderful sail on a sunny day on the quietest and most comfortable catamaran on the Spree. Great crew, comfortable seating, audio guide if you want it. Just so relaxing and a truly wonderful way to experience and explore fabulous Berlin. Highly recommend!

Getting the opportunity to see a vast amount of history is a great way to see a city. This trip gave you an audio guide in the language of your choice. With this you got to see and hear the history surrounding the river. The boat was very clean and the staff onboard was friendly and strived to meet any requests that you had. With a bar onboard it was a bonus that let you enjoy a cocktail while cruising the river. I highly recommend this to anyone coming to or living in Berlin. It was a great value and an incredible way to spend some time in the city. Cheers to All!

It’s one of the activities every tourist should do better then other boat tour on the spree less peaple lot of space, audio guide and barman is super cool !

The lady who sold products to me was very kind, she gave me a blanket and explained everything to me in detail.

We loved the boat. We managed to get a “seat” (very comfortable and could lie down and chill out the whole time) at the back of the boat but there were options for tables inside or benches down either side to avoid the sun. The drinks service was excellent. The commentary was a bit sketchy and often funny because the content was odd but it didn’t detract from the experience.

A peaceful and quiet scenic “float” down the river. A good way to see local Berliners enjoying the river.

It was a very sunny day for our trip and our boat offered comfortable seats in the shade that still offered excellent views. The audio guide worked well and was very informative. We were even welcomed on board with a cold drink!

We really enjoyed this excursion. what's not to love about a nice, relaxing, scenic trip down the Spree River on a beautiful day. Plus, the crew was very friendly and courteous. Best of all, there were only about 8 or so other people on the catamaran, so we had plenty of space/privacy. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Berlin.

The boat was comfortable and the seating layout was not too crowded, even with a full boat. Drinks service was friendly. Commentary was just right, not too much, not too little. Guide spoke clearly in both German and English and gave the same information in both languages. The sunny, warm morning made the tour perfect.

The cruise was very pleasant, left on time. The explanations are very interesting. It's a bit hard to hear in the open air and we were also sitting behind 3 women who kept talking and it was distracting (but not the crew's fault...)The ship is clean, the prices of the products in the buffet are fair.

The 1h boat ride is the perfect time to explore the main sights of Central Berlin. The guide provided a short description in both German and English. Seating was ample and comfortable with table service for drinks (additional charge). We throroughly enjoyed the experience.

Our tour guide was exceptional and taught us a lot of interesting facts while on the tour. We took our kids (8, 6, and 4) and they stayed interested too. We are so glad we did this tour!

Totally recommended, all seats are outside! Small, well-stocked bar and unbeatable for the price, since it takes 2.5 hours to get there. The audio guide gives some interesting information here and there and otherwise you can just enjoy the ride and see Berlin from a different angle. We thought it was great :)

Highly recommended!!! Not too crowded like other boat tours we've done with other providers, small but yours is the motto here and they really live up to that. There was an Aperol as a welcome gift and the selection of drinks is really impressive. The two were sooo super friendly we would book again immediately.

Relaxing boat trip with a cocktail to start. Audio guide could have given more info. If you go on this trip which I’d recommend sit at the back of the boat so you get the best lighting for photos and the sunset

The boat trip declared as an evening trip is scheduled far too early (7:30 p.m.) at the beginning of July(!). It was only shortly before the end of the journey that twilight set in, so that we did not, or hardly, enjoy seeing the area illuminated in the evening. The route should at least go as far as Charlottenburg Palace or be offered as a circuit! The AudioGuide system often had dropouts due to low battery capacity and takes some getting used to, especially for older guests! (The device must be held close to the ear.) During the journey, it would be better to use a loudspeaker system to provide direct sound reinforcement in the ship's cabin. The crew and bar staff are courteous and friendly. The ship makes a good impression. Solar electric drive top! "Onboard" drinks => very high prices!

Brilliant day out, really enjoyable and well worth the price. The only negative to it is that the commentary is in German and small amounts in English but really low sound so can't hear it but overall brilliant experience.

I enjoyed the trip. The scenery was beautiful. We saw cityscapes, parks, and greenways.

It's about Berlin not only in tourist places so it's really interesting. You will see very diverse people and places.

This trip was 4 hours, althoough it included lots of short stops. We saw lots of famouus and not so famous buildings, bit also canals, people relaxing, bridges. One area seemed so intriguing that we went back later for drinks and people watching.

We missed the departure twice, and with no problems boarded the next day !

Using the Big Bus over a 24 hour period allows you to get a feel for Berlin city. Then use the tour to visit specific places.

very good information and arriving easy cost effective way to get around the city for a day. wish it would run slightly longer and that they cleaned the buses a bit more often.

There are many historical places to visit in this city. places are at a considerable distance of each other. The best way see all the sites in one day is hop on hop off.

It was an amazing experience, the hip hop bus is perfect for the travellers who would like to explore more places and in a convenient and cost effective way.

Firstly, I want to thank the Big Bus employee Ms. Sena. She was very helpful and answered all our questions kindly with all the details and reccomendations. We started the blue tour from the first stop, Alexanderplatz, stopped at East Side Gallery. An average visit there takes about 45 minutes, just enough time to make it to the next bus. After that arriving at the first stop again, you are just on time to make it to the red tour. Everything is on time and that makes it easier. There is also a live bus tracking app and free wifi. Overall, hop on hop off buses are a good way to explore the city. Recommended.

The bus was so ideal for getting around the city & seeing all the sights! We had limited time in Berlin so it was a great way to see it all quickly. The start point was so close to our hotel in Alexanderplatz. The audio on the bus was very informative & we felt we learnt a lot!

Great views. My experience started out with a rainy day, but the bus still arrived promptly on time. Shortly after, rain seized and I got to see all the wonderful viewpoints and landmarks Berlin had to offer. The bus made only a couple of stops, as was indicated. Overall, I am quite happy with my experience.

We was lucky with exelent weather, and that of course made the boat trip very nice. But also the staff was very polite and helpfull with beverage and service.

Jasper was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and overall amazing guide. I’d definitely recommend this guide for tourists who don’t mind walking and wanna learn the city and it’s history. He made me wanna come back to Berlin for a return visit. Note: if you’re someone who can’t walk 2 miles at a good pace this probably would be too much.

The tour was fantastic. A really nice way to spend a couple of hours. The host was great, he came and took drink orders from our seats. The toilet facilities were clean and the other staff friendly. We were blessed with great weather. The tour is narrated in German but I believe there was a devise you could take to listen to it in your language. We didn’t bother with this as we were happy just watching the sights. Very good value for money although the drinks are quite expensive.

The staff were friendly and observant. When our drinks were finished they came to take more orders. They let us know where we could find the audio guides if we wanted more. The boat was exactly on time.

The boat ride was smooth and with lots of information. Remember to bring corded earphones with an older round plug or adapter to this so you don’t have to hold the guide machine to your ear. Many languages to choose from. Would highly recommend if you need a nice break to rest your feet while learning about Berlin. The guides were great. Great table side service no matter where you sat.

I would say the tour is too long. I guess it just depends what you’re looking for, but we felt it was too long with long stretches of just no narration and industrial sights. The narration was not live so sometimes it was a little off.

Earphones for the audio guides as you have to sit with a device pressed to one ear the whole time.

Peaceful and informative river cruise for 2hrs, including audio guide in 12 languages. Advise you to take your own headphones to leave your hands free for photos. Deutsche is announced for all. Refreshments available on board. Crew were very helpful

It's a shame that the outdoor area isn't a no-smoking zone. We were bothered by the smell of tobacco. It was pretty unpleasant.

It was really fun at first, but then the route got a bit boring and there was less to see! Otherwise, it was well organized.

the principle is great but during our activity it was raining so we stayed inside. the problem is that with the lights that stay on there are too many reflections which prevents you from enjoying the view in the less lit places. of the 2 hours of cruise only the first half hour is interesting, then the comments being exclusively in German, it's difficult to find any interest. we had the impression that the goal was to push us to consume to pass the time

Good service, weather-related we had to sit inside, unfortunately a large part of the guests (ladies over 60) were probably less interested in the sights and explanations as they talked loudly about their lives all the time, but the provider can't do anything about that.

You couldn't see out the windows because the light inside made a mirror image, and it was too cold to sit outside. We'd definitely have preferred to be on the trip in daylight.

chris was a wonderful host, knew how to uplift the atmosphere and certainly was humorous. it was my first stand up comedy show ever and i was definitely not disappointed!

This was an excellent trip along the Spree to Müggelsee with the option to explore one or more destinations along the way due to the flexible ticket. The facilities were good with a choice of outdoor or indoor seating including under an awning on the top deck which was welcome as the sun was shining all day. We enjoyed seeing the ingenious way the awning could be lowered to pass under bridges. The clear and informative commentary on the sights along the way was interesting and amusing. There were friendly and hardworking staff proving drinks and snacks from the bar and the iced coffee was delicious! We would definitely repeat the trip, and next time use the opportunity to stop and explore.

Easy to find when leaving Treptower Park station. Nice boat trip with good staff and good service. Scenery good too.

Most of the other river cruises are only 1 hour; this is much better and so relaxing. Great way to see parts of the city and enjoy some refreshments.

It’s a great way to see a lot of Berlin that you might not be able to see. Only so much time in a day. The weather was perfect the day we went, had great German beer and got to sit in the sun for 2 1/2 hours and relax and take in the beautiful Berlin city.

Great tour overall! Had to go down to the indoor deck below when it started raining, but it was comfortable seating down there. I’d recommend going on a weekday because we went on Friday and then saw the same boat go by at the same time the next day as we were sitting on the edge of the river and it looked PACKED.

This was a relaxing cruise along the river, I'm not sure it went very much further than the other cruises as we seem to be going about half the speed of the other boats. But this did make for a relaxing trip and we were able to enjoy a small beer and a cup of coffee.

I have done several tours in Berlin, some covering similar things. What I liked about this, was the very different perspective I.e. from the water Great experience overall

Saw a lot of official buildings. It was nice being on the water (this was a boat cruise) but the tour was rather her boring.

Excellent trip, very informative and an excellent way to view hard to get to sights. Easy to get to to using berlin card with public transport or hop on hop off busses. The only negative would be is that a wheel chair user would probably no be able to access this trip.

On a clear day it’s a lovely ride. There is a lot to learn about Berlin and its history. The buildings, sculpture and impromptu graffiti and the end of the wall were all explained.

It was an excellent trip, very informative and relaxing. The staff were friendly and it was really enjoyable.

Excellent in comprehensive tour. I highly recommend the 2 1/2 hour tour as one can see much more of Berlin. The views from the top deck are much better than inside the boat. Unfortunately, it’s a little more difficult to hear on the top deck.

This was an interesting trip along the Spree with commentary in German & English. The weather kept us inside but the views were still good and there was a beverage service on board.

Great way to see some of the architecture of Berlin. The commentary was both informative and entertaining. The cruise offers a full bar. Very cost effective.

It was a lovely and scenic boat ride taking in the sights and history of Berlin. Our guide spoke English and German and was very knowledgeable - he made the hour go by fast with excellent commentary that was informative and witty.

This boat tour was a really lovely experience. My sister and I decided to do this on a whim and it was such a lovely relaxing activity. The guide was fantastic, such a lovely guy with great knowledge about the city and a good sense of humour too! It was really fun to see the city from a unique perspective of being on the river and they didn’t rush through it. The boat was comfortable and a smooth journey. You can order drinks on board (hot, cold, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks) which is a nice touch. The boat is easy to get on and off but there are some fairly steep steps to get down to where the boat is.

Brilliant tour, well worth the money and more. Great service and reasonable priced drinks served to you from the bar! Highly recommend for a summer trip!

It was quite easy to order the tickets online for the 2 1/2 hour journey. The catamaran looked quite new, and was in excellent condition. The cafe and toilet were much appreciated. We sat on the right side, outside, which was quiet and comfortable. The narration was interesting, though a bit quick for me to translate completely for my husband. We really enjoyed seeing Treptower Park, the funky houseboats, and the beautiful riverside properties. The price was reasonable. The launch place was easy to find as it is quite near the Jannowitzbrücke. We would recommend this boat trip.

Calm and easy ride along the Spree. Friendly staff and the boat really looks good. Because of the solar energy it is really a smooth ride. You are not seeing too many of the sights from the water, but it gives you a nice view on another part of Berlin.

The boat trip was very nice but it was said to me before that we will have also audio in different languages which was not the case. Also, the food is very simple in the bar - they should offer more and not just animal sausages in bread....

Enjoyable trip down the river in Berlin. Don't choose this river trip if you need to tick off all the main sights - this one goes east, but it's nice and relaxing, and a good way of seeing the East Side Gallery. For me it would have been more enjoyable if no-one was allowed to smoke on board, but we managed to find seats on the other side from most of the smokers.

More seats would have been good. Otherwise, the announcements were very informative and entertaining. The boat was very quiet and the route was beautiful. The timing was also perfect.

The cruise felt a bit long, although the boat was super comfortable and had a bar that served great snacks. The audio guide said very little, we missed having more information. About the duration, especially because of the time in the lock, which lengthens it, it got a bit tedious for us, also because we were with a child and two teenagers, and they can't stand much time on the boat without explanations in the audio guide

We had a really nice experience with GoBoat! We rented the boat for three hours and it was such a fun and relaxing way to explore. The boat isn’t very fast, so it’s good to plan enough time to make your way back, but that just added to the laid-back vibe. The staff from the company were super friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend!

It was a beautiful, tranquil boat trip. No engine noise, no pollution. the boat was easy to manage and my 12 yr old son enjoyed the role of the captain. the 2 hours flew.

My husband and I hired a boat for an hour and we had a lovely time on the water. Max was very helpful and friendly and gave us good clear instructions on how to sail the boat. We brought a picnic with us and had a nice relaxing trip. 😁

It was very quiet so the activity felt very luxurious. Nice info from the audio guide and nice that the boat is so quiet. It is a pity that it is the same back and forth, because if it is as warm as it was for us, you cannot sit in the sun. But of course you know that in advance. A must for those who want to see the city from a different side and at the same time want to have a nice chat with partner, friends or family.

What a pleasure to enjoy a boat trip in such comfortable and relaxed conditions! I highly recommend it: very friendly welcome, lots of space (there weren't many people), quiet (and eco-friendly). Interesting passage through the lock on top of that. The audio guide commentary in French was good (changed because the batteries were dead). A really enjoyable 2.5-hour trip, unlike a traditional cruise boat (which are often crowded, with everyone sitting on chairs and listening to commentary over a microphone), and no more expensive (actually cheaper). I would definitely do it again! Thank you for this great idea :)

The Solar Schiff is super clean and has a really nice atmosphere. We deliberately chose it because of the pictures and accepted the journey by S-Bahn. But it wasn't as far as we thought. Unlike the other ships, there are toilets on board. A total plus point. The prices on the ship are really reasonable. Great! The staff is super friendly. The weather wasn't playing along that well. But the interior was also great and you had a very good view. The guide was really informative and super easy to use. Just hold it to your ear and listen Super easy to understand. I'd definitely recommend it and would choose it over any other boat trip. Cheers from Würzburg
