Absolutely amazing day, the horror of Auschwitz was very emotional. Our guide was excellent and left nothing untold. Afternoon visit to the Salt mines again an outstanding guide and the mines themselves are stunning. It was a really well organised day and we felt truly looked after every step of the way.

An excellent trip. The tone of the guide's commentary was in keeping with the nature of the camp and was very informative. The tour was very well organised and the guide was very friendly and helpful. We were provided with a packed lunch, which was much more substantial than I was expecting. I'm really glad I visited the concentration/extermination camp, because it helped me to understand in a very immediate and profound way the horrors that were inflicted upon the prisoners. The cruelty that mankind is capable of is terrifying. However, given the atrocities that occurred at Auschwitz and Birkenau, and the emotional impact of the exhibits and the camp itself, it is probably a trip you only want to make once in your life. A very memorable trip to an exceptionally important historic site of remembrance.
