"Amazing and the perfect amount of time -we were pretty toasted after the two wineries and 8 LARGE “samples” of wine. We did the afternoon 230 PM time and were able to have lunch beforehand and dinner afterwards. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about Chianti Classico wine as well as the experts at each of the wineries. The wine type is meant to be paired with food so snacks were provided and delicious. Both wineries were beautiful -grounds and indoors. I highly recommend committing a half day of your stay in Florence to this wine tour!

"The overall experience was good, however the lack of designated bathroom breaks during the trip posed problems. This trip is 400 km all said and done with no bathroom breaks. Each of the stops had a public bathroom available (somewhere), but for .50 - 1 euro (with the exception of the Chianti Hill stop). There were often times lines, which took away from the free time available. Be sure to have euro coins with you. The bus had probably 70 or so people vying for the same bathroom (plus those in other groups) when available and the guide was very impatient of this. The bus we were on was a standard charter bus, so the fact that there wasn't a toilet on the bus was weird. This huge problem be resolved with that small feature. We also were constantly rushed with hardly any time to explore the areas we stopped at. You get a tasting of the town, but no real time to immerse yourself in it and experience the culture. With that all said, I would recommend this tour.

"This tour was great and organised. Checking-in at the Meeting Point was easy and quick. The bus was comfortable and felt safe with driver Antonio. Our guide Raffaele was very informative about Florence/Tuscancy and the wineries. The experiences at both wineries were both informative and relaxing; more than we expected.

"The first winery was a hands on tasting experience where you learned a lot and was also accompanied by absolutely delicious meats, cheeses, crackers, oils, etc The second was less of an interactive experience but didn’t need to be with the breathtaking view you get to enjoy. The bonus of being able to walk around San Gimignano was beyond awesome, so surreal to walk around a town with so much history. It was also a huge park that our guide, Julia, was amazing company.

"A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The organisation was first rate. Mano - our guide- and Nando- our driver- were excellent. Always congenital and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. We especially enjoyed the trip to Siena (fabulous local guide- can’t remember her name) and the lunch at the organic farm.

"This was a really good half day experience. If you don’t want to commit to a full day and still have time to explore the city during the day I would highly recommend this tour to you. We were able to stay in the city until 2 and then had a great time for this tour. The wines were delicious and the owners/guides at each winery were so nice and accommodating to questions. You could tell how much they love what they do and how they want to share it with others. Our guide Eva and driver Nino were incredible. She told us a perfect amount of information for the region and he got us there safely while also letting us see some of the country side. Highly recommended this tour to everyone!!

If I could give this tour 6/5 stars I would. Our tour guide Gloria was an extremely knowledgeable Sommelier who kept us engaged and interested the entire time. You'll learn about all the different red wines of Tuscany. You are provided with plenty of food throughout the tour and lunch is served family style. The vineyards and villas provide breathtaking views and the bus you travel in will definitely give "off-roading" a different meaning. This tour is an absolute must.

"Joined the Grape Escape Winery Tour on 30th January 2020 with our guide Manolo, who speaks very good English and explained everything clearly. Very humorous and never failed to entertain us during the whole journey. Went to taste some awesome wines at two winery and the best balsamic ever! Would highly recommend anyone who wishes to try the wines, olives and balsamic of Tuscany.

"We had a great time during our wine tour! Our only complaint was that the stop in Radda only ended up being 10 minutes, because the first wine tasting apparently went over schedule. Both wine tastings were very interesting and the scenery was beautiful. This tour really is a great value for the price.

"Leonardo was amazing! We went to 3 wineries and learned a lot of history along the drive: Fattoria San Michele a Tori (Alicia was a great host), then ate lunch and paired with wines at Casa Emma (Julia was also a great host), had a brief stop at Greve in Chianti for gelato, and finally Poggio Torselli (Matteo was a great host). The views and experience was fantastic! I highly recommend booking this adventure.

"This was a great tour! We went to two different vineyards and two small towns in the Chianti region and we loved all of it. We tried 7 different wines along with different foods and oils which were delicious. The staff at both vineyards were great and welcoming and at both of the towns we got extra food and drink that we enjoyed. The tour guide was great and the bus was wonderfully air conditioned. We also had a great time getting to know the other travelers on the tour with us! It was a super fun group that ended up hanging out with later. Overall a great experience!

"This experience was fantastic and well worth the money. It was great since I went in an off-time of the year since our group was rather small, only 14. Both the tour guides/drivers were hilarious and great guides. The first winery/wine school that we went to was a great time, the host/owner was hilarious, and we got to taste so many good wines, olive oils, balsamic, and some finger food. The second place had the most gorgeous view, and the wife of the wine maker who gave us a tour was lovely (plus they had cute puppies, such a win!). The final part of the tour, the trip to San Gimagnano, was great. Most of our group had lunch together, and we got to taste the supposed best gelato in the world. Overall, I had an amazing time and would book this tour again in a heartbeat if possible.

"Great tour for the price! The tour guide was super informative, the wineries were great, and loved visiting the small medieval town. We got to sample lots of wine as well as cheese, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The wineries were also nice to accommodate our vegetarian needs. I definitely recommend it!

"I’m traveling with my mom and we had planned on doing this tour together, but realized it would be too extensive for her, so I decided to go alone. Best decision ever! Met very kind fellow travelers, and can’t imagine having skipped Siena Pisa and San Gimignano. Absolutely unforgettable, and our tour guide Angela was a pleasure and so kind- I forgot to schedule a climb of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and she was kind enough to assist me in purchasing a ticket on site. Our bus driver Antonio was exceptional as well. We got the most free time in San Gimignano I’d say, which was nice because there are many shops there. The Siena Cathedral is must see- my favorite sight in all of Italy so far. On our tour we visited Siena in the morning (perfect before it’s too hot or crowded, lunch in San Gimignano then sunset in Pisa- absolutely perfect. What an amazing value for the price too- just book this!

Awesome tour! Lavi, our tour sommelier, and Romolo, our driver, made our food and wine experience on this day a top-notch outing, and was definitely one of our favorite tours in Italy. Lavi explained the details about wine, wine tasting, and the wine history in the Chianti region, and all three stops in the region were informative, relaxing, and fun, as well as tasty with the appetizers and lunch pairings. Romolo expertly navigated the roads, and both deserve 10 stars, if that were possible. Thank you again, Lavi and Romolo!

"We were a little surprised by how large the group was a the meet up point but you get separated into ""small"" groups of 25. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable, never rushed us out of a winery. The winery's were very nice and had very good aperitivos to enjoy with your wine. I would recommend this tour to anyone, it was informative, beautiful, and delicious!

"Rosa was an amazing guide! She was like the sweet, loving, and cool Grandma you’ve always wanted. Small group of 5 total which made it an intimate setting. I was impressed with the quality and quantity of wine. Learned a lot about Chianti in Radda. I highly recommend this tour!

"A very good opportunity to get an expression of the toscany: beautiful landscape, delicious food, nice cities and impressive sights. Everything was very well organized; our guide Manolo was excellent: he gave a lot of information, always with a glimpse of humor and handled the big group perfectly so that the mood was relaxed and friendly all the time.

Florence - in the very sound of the word you can feel the exquisite poetry and elegance. The Italian city is more than two thousand years old, and it holds many amazing and unfathomable secrets. Book tours to Florence on the website and discover new pages of history and culture.
- Visit the Uffizi Gallery, which contains unique works of art that were once part of the family collections of the city's rulers. Titiano, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael - don't miss the chance to see the cultural heritage of these famous artists live.
- Also interesting is the tour route dedicated to the life and work of Michelangelo Buonarotti. You will see the best works created by the great Italian in the Galleria dell'Accademia, Laurentian Library and Medici Chapel.
- Italian cuisine is worth a visit. Florence has plenty of places where you can enjoy traditional dishes.
