Visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp to immerse yourself in history. Your guide will teach you about the tragic history of the largest concentration camp during the Holocaust.

Take a comfortable bus to the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp complex, a historic site that also serves as an important Holocaust memorial, after being picked up from your Krakow hotel.

Explore the museum in Owicim, which is about 60 kilometers to the west of Krakow. After arrival, meet a guide who will dive you into the infamous history of this place.

Before continuing your tour, take a break where you can refuel with a tasty box lunch.

Find out how Auschwitz-Birkenau has come to be both a reminder of the physical and emotional exhaustion of the victims and a symbol of human suffering. Learn how it became the final resting place of millions of people, most of whom were Jews, who were executed in appalling gas chambers.

To enter Auschwitz 1, pass through the gate that says "Arbeit Macht Frei" (work is allowed). Your guide will show you around the preserved area and tell you about the place's history.

Spend about an hour in Birkenau, the site of the mass killings that were carried out as part of the Nazi "Final Solution to the Jewish Question". During the ride back to Krakow after the visit, you can think back on the experience.

The trip was great. The bus picked us up on the near bus station and took us to Auschwitz 1 and later to Auschwitz 2. The ride was comfortable and the guide was really nice. We were also very satisfied with lunchboxes (sandwiches with hummus and with ham, apples and chocolate bars). We wouldn't change a thing about the whole thing :)
