The trip was great. The bus picked us up on the near bus station and took us to Auschwitz 1 and later to Auschwitz 2. The ride was comfortable and the guide was really nice. We were also very satisfied with lunchboxes (sandwiches with hummus and with ham, apples and chocolate bars). We wouldn't change a thing about the whole thing :)

On a whole it was a very good day! It was very interesting and the guide was very good. We would have preferred if the salt mines had been done last though, as it was a very hot day, and we were out in it at Auschwitz at the hottest part of the day! It made for a very very sweaty tour!! Also we would have liked more time to explore Auschwitz birkenau on our own after the tour as it was huge and we were only shown a tiny portion of it!

Bus could fit 24 people including driver and the tour ""guide"", but we was only 10 people in the bus (1.5h ride) to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Got 15min break, toilets (free) and restaurant with food, snacks, drinks and ice-cream at the entrance, no need to order food from the tour company. They say no bags bigger than a A4-paper, but I had my school backpack and they let us in with it, same with many other tourists that had it. No locking storage for bags there. They splitted us up by language of the tour with other groups of the tour company. The tour in Auschwitz is 1h 50min with a guide (not same person from the bus), I recommend not to walk alone as its not interested without a guide. Then 10min break before a 2min bus ride to Birkenau. 1h 30min tour with the same guide in Birkenau. And then 1.5h ride back to Krakow. We could survive with bank cards through the whole Krakow trip, no cash is needed. Mask is required inside.

Very good tour. Mix up with pick up place but was quickly sorted. The lady running the tour on the bus was really nice and friendly. We were given lunch which was rolls and cheese, water and some snacks. Can't complain really. However, when we arrived at Auschwitz, she wasn't very clear when we would have time to actually eat our lunch. The was a 6/7 minute rest period to use the toilet etc then the tour began. This tour itself was very informative, but a lot of walking so keep this in mind. Tour guide was easy to understand, helpful and knowledgeable. The journey itself was pleasant enough.

The start of the day we really enjoyed. But the afternoon(salt mine) wasn’t really for us, it was very long winded and not what we expected. Lord of statues and not much of the “mine” we expected. Something that took 2.5 hours but I’d of been happy with a 30 min walk through. As I said the morning was brilliant (auschwitz) very moving. The guides through out the whole day were very knowledgeable and friendly. Coach driver also friendly and informative

Extremely heart wrenching experience. Everything we were taught at school does no justice to the actual experience. I came in winter, so it was a little tough when the winds blow over the fields of ice. I don’t know how the prisoners managed to survive Polish winters with only rags on. Damian and Adrianna (our hosts) were fantastic.

Amazing trip that was really informative. Particularly thought the headphones was a great idea and made it so that none of the information being relayed by the guide, got missed. I came away with a greater understanding of the atrocities that happened here - it really does hit home how totally brutal this place was - which made me even more annoyed an upset to see disrespectful people taking selfies on the very tracks that led people to their murderers. The tour itself isn’t to blame for the shocking behaviour of others though.

Added bonus of the museum beforehand and very interesting, especially hearing from the locals that helped with food and clothes for the prisoners. The self tour around auschwitz was great !!! Birkenau would have been a much better experience if there was about 30 more minutes at the site, as it’s very difficult to get to the gas chambers at the back of the compound and back with comfort. 1 hour is not enough to cover a much larger area than Auschwitz and take in the extermination camp fully.
