We received several emails and text messages the day before and the same morning to be informed of the time at which our driver would pick us up from our apartment. The visit to the Auschwitz and Birkenau camps is very rich in emotions. Our guide was friendly and interesting. You have to walk a lot given the extent of the sites. A snack is served after the visit to the two camps around 12 p.m. (basket with sandwich, pasta salad, apple, chocolate bar, water) Then head to the salt mines. A guide takes us to the bottom of the mines to start the visit (380 steps from memory!) Then we go from room to room through galleries to reach a depth of 130m. Some rooms are magnificent and gigantic. Finally we go back into the open air in the elevator. I do not recommend the visit to people who have problems walking (lots of stairs) but otherwise it is very interesting and very well organized.

What a trip! Those two places are well worth visiting. Whether it's worth the money paid to the provider it's debatable. But definitely saves the hassle of organizing the trip. Easy to follow instructions from the driver, great guides in Auschwitz and Salt Mines. I do recommend this one day trip.

The trip itself was really interesting and not normally my kind of thing but even I enjoyed it. We got picked up from our hotel and then taken everywhere and could leave our stuff in the car while we went to different parts of the trip. Highly recommended.

The guide at Auschwitz-Birkenau was good and clearly knowledgeable and the guide at the Salt Mine was also good. However the host/driver was less helpful. She did not offer clear instructions or timings and appeared to be abrupt when asked about them. Timings seemed to change without explanation. Her manner has affected the overall scoring.

The tour of Auschwitz was very informative and really put it into perspective when seeing the remains of the buildings and belongings that are there. I really liked that the tour provides you with a headset so you can hear the tour guide a lot clearer and easier as we were in a big group and had we had been at the back this would have not been possible. I didn't have much of an expectation for the Salt Mines but I was WOWed when we dove deeper into the mines. What has been done over the years is absolutely insane and amazing, definitely a must see even for those like myself who thought it wouldn't be anything special. I only wish the tour guide had the same headset idea that Auschwitz had as I found it very hard to hear the guide at times and had to keep asking my partner what they said. My only real negative is the small bus we were on that was almost full, was very cramped and hard to eat your lunch in comfort on. I could see no way to open any windows.

It is worth the money. Not being anxious about the tickets, the transportation and the hours from one visit to the other (many Polish people do not speak English very well). The drivers and the guides were really helpful and nice people. Good snack on the break.

A really thought provoking trip to Auschwitz which was really well organised though I would have appreciated a bit more time at the 2nd camp to explore independently. Salt mine trip was really interesting too. Lots of walking involved, clocked up 8 miles overall during the trip

it was a really early start (06:30 pick up) & I was dubious about the timing... we arrived at Auschwitz & it was fairly quiet. After the guided tour of Auschwitz I i figured out why the early start. Iwas very pleased we started early, there were thousands of people beginning their tour. We then proceeded over to Birkenow to tour that camp. It was chilling to realise the scale of the genocide that happened here. it is so important that the world NEVER forget what happened here & that we learn from it. i was very impressed with the way the guide & the museum cinvey the facts of what went on here. i would highly recommend this tour.

Well organized tour. They picked us up at the hotel at the scheduled time. Very comfortable vehicle. We went to Auschwitz, then had a snack on the way to the Mine. There we still have time to walk around before entering the Mine. Get ready for a good walk.
