This bus transfer was the easiest & most economical way to get to Auschwitz-Birkenau from Kraków’s bus station. The bus comes to the first, ground floor & pulled up right on time. Highly recommend this for those who book independent tickets for their visit.

Transport was fine - clean and comfortable although driver seemed very impatient when we returned to the coach for the journey home. The tour was quite rushed and we didn’t feel like we had much time to take in the two sites. We were rushed around in the group. We were allowed to go and see the gas chambers as part of the tour but due to the rush that the tour guide was in… we didn’t spend much time here and were quickly ushered through. The guide was very informative but the whole tour did feel very rushed. The tour guide seemed annoyed with the customers when small things would go wrong, such as the radio transmitter not working… which is a small inconvenience but she was quite rude to the people that this happened to. Not much time for toilet breaks/looking around the gift shop. We got back to the bus 3 minutes after the allotted time and the driver seemed annoyed that we were late but we had to queue for the toilet. Tour was OK… you get what you pay for!

Departure time and pick-up time were always adhered to. Driver was friendly, pick-up points were easy to find (and clearly marked) and super affordable. The buses were very comfortable and clean!

Good idea if you were like me and booked Auschwitz on its own without a tour person and hotel pick up. Easy enough to find the bus station, however we were then more restricted by timings. I’d definitely recommend doing this day as a full tour. We had booked a bus for the way back but ended up paying again for a different time as there was an earlier bus but they didn’t let us use our voucher
