"I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! At first i was sceptical about it being written as a screen play and actually took me months before I would even read it & I am a HARRY POTTER & BOOK LOVER, but I was VERY HAPPILY SURPRISED. It being written in screen play format did not take away from the book at all & it felt as if the original writer picked up where they left off. REALLY HOPE A MOVIE IS MADE & we can see a FULL ENDING to the Harry Potter series play out on the big screen!!!"

This is a fantastic book and play and to anyone who says it’s to much out of the Harry Potter series well you have a stick up your but. The book and play are interesting and have a great plot it is also great because it gives the REAL fans who STAY the whole time for the play an indication of what it would’ve been like if voldermort won the battle of hog warts!

I am a major Harry Potter fan and bookworm as a whole. I have read all the books... carry the two, add the three... yep I have lost count. I saw parts one and two with my mom and it was AMAZING. The actors in Cursed Child really brought the story to life.

"Saw the show last night and thought it was absolutely incredible. I have been obsessed with Harry Potter world for many years now and to bring it to life on stage in such a way it’s very clever and a must see. "

Jack Thorne and John Tiffany wrote the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The eighth story in the Harry Potter series can be found here. And the first one for which there has been an official play.

After Harry and Ginny have taken their children to Hogwarts, "The Cursed Child" takes place in the future. Harry is now a hardworking employee of the Ministry of Magic. Albus, his youngest son, experiences similar difficulties as Harry did when he was younger. The play's past and present intersect in a manner that has the potential to bring about darkness.

Important to know:

  • Any Harry Potter and theater buff should see the two-part play. Each purchased ticket is good for both events.
  • On Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the play is performed. Because the first part is a matinee and the second part is an evening performance, you can see both parts in one day.
  • The Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday matinees start at 14:00, while Sunday matinees start at 13:00. On Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, at 6 p.m., the second part of the performance begins.
  • First part: 2 hr., 40 min. Second Part: 2hrs 35mins.
