I only had time for one gallery in Paris and chose Musee d’Orsay, which did not disappoint. I was able to skip the main queue and waited only 5 minutes in the security queue. Make sure to ask an attendant which queue as the pass I had downloaded was suggesting the longest queue. I would also recommend pre-booking audio guide if possible as I was one of the last to receive one before they ran out (late morning). I walked the sculptures, level 2 and level 5. The rooms on level 2 were my favourite with focussed on Corbet, Manet & Millet. Floor 5 had some of the more known iconic artworks but was very crowded with people more interested in taking photos than viewing art. Bathrooms were well kept however I didn’t see any places to fill up my water bottle.

First visit back to Paris - and MdO - since Covid. Worth planning two days - but never do. One side or the other downstairs. Quick pre-lunch walk through the Impressionists on the top floor before the iconic restaurant. And then re-explore the Impressionists - Monet, Pissarro, Cezanne etc and then the Post Impressionists - Van Gogh, Gaugin. Was all set to leave at 3.30pm and sprint round the Orangerie but was way-payed by the Gaudi exhibition. Outstanding.

Everything was in order. Received ticket with easy access. No waiting in line. People outside the museum directed us promptly. Only issue was crowds once in the museum, especially in the Impressionist floor. We went at 11 o’clock. We were only in Paris for the day so didn’t have a lot of flexibility of time. Would recommend investigating peak times and avoid them.

Quick and easy access when you buy your tickets in advance. There’s so many sculptures and paintings you need to research and pick the ones you want to see before you go. One day is not enough for even just half of the collection you can see inside. So amazing we didn’t care at all that we stayed till closing time!

We arrived hungry and thirsty but it took ages to locate a cafe, restaurant didn’t seem to be functioning but there was no notice about it. Once we found the cafe, it was excellent. Good service, good refreshments. The museum is spectacular, a wonderful setting for excellent works of art.

Our tour guide, Stephanie, was beyond incredible! She made every second of our tour extremely informative and amusing, especially for our tween twins. We'd recommend her and tour in a heart beat. Can't wait to do it again. Thank you for making our trip to Versailles so memorable!

Musee d'Orsay is definitely worth a visit. There are so many beautiful art including Monet, Van Gogh etc. The current exhibitions, namely Gaudi and Aristide Maillol, is excellent. I did not know the work of Aristide Maillol and I was very impressed with the style of his work.

Skip the line is the way to go to access miser d’orsay. However it was still a little crowded inside. I nonetheless, it made entering with reluctant teenagers much easier. We went straight to the impressionists, and loved being in the gorgeous space. Stayed 1.5 hours.

The museum is really fantastic! We spent hours there. Seeing the paintings for the first time was awesome. Be prepared with comfortable shoes you wont want to leave until closing time. Lunch at the 2nd floor restaurant was really good, food was interesting and tasty.

I bought this ticket just the day before. When I got there, the usherette told me that I should enter entrance A instead of C. She explained that there have been recent changes. Aside from that, everything was a breeze. I skipped the line and saved time.
