First visit back to Paris - and MdO - since Covid. Worth planning two days - but never do. One side or the other downstairs. Quick pre-lunch walk through the Impressionists on the top floor before the iconic restaurant. And then re-explore the Impressionists - Monet, Pissarro, Cezanne etc and then the Post Impressionists - Van Gogh, Gaugin. Was all set to leave at 3.30pm and sprint round the Orangerie but was way-payed by the Gaudi exhibition. Outstanding.

The Musee d’Orsay is a spectacular immersion into the large water Lilly murals of Monet as well as the seminal works of Renoir, Modigliani, Picasso, Cezanne, and other great artists. We thoroughly enjoyed the process of easily reserving a time and purchasing tickets on line, as well as the admission procedures at the museum!

We were provided with a bar code for easy entry. Unlike our other bookings where we were just issued a QR code which did not grant us access. Electronic bookings should have electronic tickets; NOT tickets you have to print. Very difficult when you are on vacation. Will never use again for this reason.

The experience was great! 1/2 day is just about the right amount of time to see Versailles. Pickup was easy and well communicated. The tour guide was knowledgeable and sweet. We had a little over an hour to wander the gardens before getting on the bus back. Overall experience was terrific.

We arrived hungry and thirsty but it took ages to locate a cafe, restaurant didn’t seem to be functioning but there was no notice about it. Once we found the cafe, it was excellent. Good service, good refreshments. The museum is spectacular, a wonderful setting for excellent works of art.

I booked this activity because I wanted my daughter to have a cup of tea with me in the most luxuriously decorated ceiling in a restaurant in the world, (that I know of)! We relaxed and discussed which exhibitions we wanted to see, made a plan and then executed it! Awesome!

Skip the line is the way to go to access miser d’orsay. However it was still a little crowded inside. I nonetheless, it made entering with reluctant teenagers much easier. We went straight to the impressionists, and loved being in the gorgeous space. Stayed 1.5 hours.
