Details

What to expect:

Depends on the option chosen start your tour as a part of the group or privately. Get off the beaten path of Venice, away from the crowds. With a guide, explore the heart of Venice, including lesser-known areas, rich with history such as the Rialto Bridge.

First, discover Campo Santa Maria Formosa, one of the largest squares of the city, and explore the nine streets and 11 bridges that branch from it. Cross the Campiello degli Orbi, where once lived presumably a blind people Confraternity.

Next, arrive at the Saints John and Paul area, now the site of Venetian hospital. Visit the labyrinth of calli and campi (narrow Venetian streets and squares) and find Marco Polo's House, a building believed to be the home of the famous explorer, marked by a white plaque and now used as a theater.

Finally, pass through St. Mark's Square with its stunning monuments as well as Doge's Palace.

Complete your journey with a gondola ride through the canals, blending Venice’s hidden streets and famous waterways into one memorable adventure.

Góndola tour was ok except fife the guide that didn’t have a umbrella or stick to see were she was. Too many people around in carnival. Ease to get lost

Nicoletta was extremely nice and made the tour interesting and exciting despite the rain and a little flood. There were also some tips at the end. All questions were answered. Any time!

Rosalina was a great guide for our Venice tour. She shared so much knowledge and interesting insights about Venice, Venetian culture, and history making the tour very engaging. We also appreciated her recommendations for restaurants and cafes. Our gondolier was also very good - amazing skills he has to keep us within an inch from the canal walls without the gondola touching them. He also sang! This was the quintessential Venice experience without the price tag of a private tour.

The tour was bilingual (German/French). But our guide solved that well. We saw corners that we would never have found otherwise. Time was a bit short because some participants had booked a gondola ride afterwards. Overall recommended.

Our guide was excellent The only suggestion for improvement would be to have groups who all spoke the same language. The fact that half of the tour was in a language each group didn’t speak effectively meant that half the commentary was not relevant Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed the walk Thank you

Our guide was fantastic. A wonderful tour, beautiful alleys, and wonderful churches. He explained everything brilliantly with passion, wit, charm, and a wealth of expertise. The Hofmann family says thank you so much

we had a really well informed and friendly guide and she took us to a lot of the main sites as well as many off the main routes. there were about 20 of us - 60% English speaking, 40% Italian but that didn't cause us any problems. Definitely a good activity
