Group Tours in Venice

This tour was very good, the guide took us through the backstreets, we did not touch any of the busy tourist parts. He explained the history and pointed out different areas Whitchurch you would not generally see. We all really enjoyed this tour, My husband mum and dad

The host was really good and friendly. The ship was comfortable and the journey was great. Good value for money.

The tour was very informative and a small group of about 10 people (other tours we walked past had more than double this). The tour lasted around 100 mins and left dead on time and was easy to find the meeting point. A substantial time was spent at each location and this is a fantastic thing to do at the start of your trip to help you work out other things you would like to do whilst you are in Venice. Main points included: San Marco Square and facts about it, iconic Venetian locations such as world famous book shops, coffee shops and churches, the way in which Venice has sustained itself over the years and the unique techniques that have been used to build and survive. Reason for four stars- at points it was a little hard to hear the tour guide in noisier locations however I would recommend this style of tour rather than a bigger one that would include electronic aids other tours have that end up muffling sound. The tour guide was extremely polite and friendly.

This is a great tour to give you an overview of the Islands, there is sufficient time allowed for visits on each and will give you enough information to allow you to decide if you would like to come back to explore them further. It's also a lovely boat ride with plenty of scenery to take in.

Great walking tour, our guide was very informative on Venice and its history. It was great to see the less see spots. The Gondola ride was magical

Very good, welcoming, and very peaceful and calm gondola tour in the pretty streets of Venice Slightly short considering the price (almost 80€ for 2 people for 25min) but very good experience all the same

I have been to Venice before. I was amazed at how much I learnt on this guided tour. My guide was Francesco, who was brilliant. We visited the back lanes and off the beaten tracks of the city, which was fabulous. We went over lots of the little bridges, requiring mobility so would suggest other travellers make sure that it is right for them. I paid about 24 euros which was excellent value- it lasted just under 2 hours. I was the only one on the tour and I appreciated them running it. Meeting place was just off St Marks Square which is very central. Would highly recommend.

Christina was the best guide we have had while doing many tours on our ten day trip to Italy! Full of information delivered in a very knowledgeable yet entertaining manner. Also very nice, personable and caring with her clients!

The gondola ride could be a little longer But we really appreciated the guide

The pier was very easy to find as the instructions are so clear. The guides were great, not a lot of information but it was also nice to just sit and enjoy the views from the boat. Murano was great, if you want to shop, there are plenty more glass shops in the town, and it’s much nicer shopping outside. Burano was great and allowed enough free time to have a leisurely lunch and see most of the town. Torcello was beautiful, not as interesting as the others and fewer food options. The only toilet was a paid one. The tour was the perfect pace for the day, a good mix of structure and free time. Between each island was about a 30 min trip, allowing time to rest your legs and and hour back to the main island to rest before walking home. Great tour and highly recommend.

It's a great activity when you don't stay long in Venice. But as it is an activity that I really liked, if I come back, I will spend more time on each island because I find that an hour with everything there is to see. It goes way too fast.

The boat journey was good the guide was very loud and could hardly understand as he was shouting

Took this tour as a spur of the moment activity while in Venice. So glad we did. Got to see Venice from the water and learn a bit of history along the way.

Nice small group and a lot of background knowledge...very interesting and recommended.

Lack of free time

Amazing experience. Thanks a lot Alexandra for the detailed and wonderful trip. It was both memorable and mesmerising experience for us. Carnival mask workshop, glass making tour to Ivano Soffiato, chocolate tasting event all were wonderful but what topped all of this was your detailed guide and walking tour of Venice. Thanks a lot for the experience.

Boat ride was not shaky that i would commend Its worth visiting and the tour price was reasonable love the picturesque church at torcello which hyped the italian vibes. Murano was nice too with all the glass shops and would definitely recommend to buy here souvenir glass bracelets! And ofcourse burano the instagrammable area with all the colorful houses

Our tour guide Andrea was wonderful. He helped us learn about Venice's rich history and pointed out things it was helpful for us to know for exploring on our own the other days we were there. The gondola ride at the end was a real treat as well. A lot of information packed into the time we had together. Would highly recommend.

Consider this a taste of the different islands. There is not much time spent in any one island to really get a feel. For example the next time we are in Venice we are planning a day trip to Burano. We found that it was good value for the money. The audio system on our boat is worn out and full of static. Needs to be fixed because we could not reaaly here the commentary. They also need to wash the sa last sins from the windows as the glass was clouded with salt stains.
