Not sure what the lagoon city was about but think they just meant around the little canals. Well worth the money and saved us a lot of money than turning up on the day to book one with the gondola service :)

The gondola right was just perfect. Not too short, not too long, just right. The view in the Grand Canal is superb, and the narrow canals that the ride takes you through is quiet and calm. It was off season so not crowded, and the price was great. I booked last minute because wasn't sure of the weather, it had been raining all morning, but the weather held up and we had a super ride.

Experience to be recommended for those who want to wander around the city and learn many curiosities at the same time thanks to the presence of a guide. Right price/quality experience! Very kind and cordial. The only flaw: I booked the tour in Italian and during the tour the guide explained things in two languages: Italian/English. A lot of time is wasted that could be invested in more exhaustive questions or explanations.

Beautiful, calming Gondola ride through so many canals. Lots of stunning Bridges and building. Was fun watching the Gondoliers being stuck in water traffic. Our Gondolier shared some history about Venice, which was great!

Our tour was good. 5 star to our walking tour guide. derive a star for Gondola, not a word from our Gondola driver/guide. The process for getting our tickets was different than any other tours we have done. Confusing and a snippy gal at the window

The only negative note is that the docking area to get off the gondolas is not suitable and absolutely needs to be improved.
