Best Murano Glass Factory Tours

I'll give it 5 stars as we thoroughly enjoyed the day trip to the islands, although on reflection we could of well spent another hour on Burano as the island is so lovely & we just wanted to explore it a bit more & then have a bite to eat and this is without seeing any lace being made (tbh we weren't fussed but this may help others who want to) Our guide was lovely, very friendly & informative, the only part apart from being able to spend long on Burano is that we stood outside the church on Murano for a good 10mins been told the history before walking into it, this for us was at last 5 mins too long, other than that a really great day out on both islands as watching the 'live' demonstration of the glass being made was superb.

Enjoyable but the boat journey wasn’t that comfortable

The boat took as on a round trip on smaller islands. Glass factory (and shop) and spectacular colorfull fishermans village

Alex and his boat driver were great! Was a great way to get aquatinted with these two islands. Highly recommended!

It was so well coordinated and informative!

The trip was in a beautifully restored fishing boat - a picture perfect way to spend several hours exploring the other islands. Watching glass blowing on Murano was fascinating, but you do need to be strong to resist the underlying pressure to spend money in the shop afterwards. Burano with its colourful houses was simply stunning and Torcello was so peaceful, it seemed to offer the perfect escape from the pressures of our busy lives. Our guide was charming and unobtrusive - I would definitely recommend this as a great way of exploring the smaller islands.

A beautiful RIVA type boat, all in wood, much better than the photo ;-)) The guide was great, full of anecdotes, attentive and discreet at the same time. Seeing Venice from the lagoon and the Grand Canal is an experience in itself, in addition to the interest of the other cities visited. Murano: for its glassmakers Burano: for its pretty colored houses To do ABSOLUTELY !!

Our guide David was exceptional. So many interesting pieces of history, personal stories and insights. It was like spending the day with a local friend.

All aspects of the trip were very good. The Virtual Reality experience at the beginning was great, the boat trip with the guide’s commentary was really interesting. Murano glass blowing was fascinating and we had time for a stroll to see part of the island. Burano was simply beautiful and there was plenty of time to explore and to sit down for some lunch. Overall an excellent experience with a great guide and good value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone

Excellent way to experience both Murano and burano in a day. Lovely guide in a group of 6 on a lovely boat. Would highly recommend.

Selina was a very special guide. She was informative, patient, very good English and so attentive to us. The boat was great. We loved every minute. This trip helped us to understand and appreciate these islands and their importance to Venice.

Meeting point was clear. Our guide was very thoughtful and outgoing, making sure that everybody felt at ease. I would recommend this cruise. Seeing Burano + Murano is enough. Even if Torcello is also beautiful, it would lengthen the trip and might be redundant. We saw an impressive glass blowing demonstration in Murano (-20% off in the shop), I only wish we had time to stroll in the island (we only stayed on the island for the demonstration).

Valerio was the BEST tour guide on our north Italy trip! So very personable, and communicated with us DIRECTLY which was amazing, and better than any other excursion! Was very neat to see the "islands" AND the "mainland"....You really don't realize how BIG Venice is....its truly a city on water! Water taxi all day for $25 bucks, WOOT! SO.MANY.ISLANDS....a must do tour in a must do city! This place was simply amazing and beautiful. We miss you already Valerio, HUGS!

Brilliant tour from Mano. Broadened our horizons and showed us Venice is more than Piazza San Marco

We had such an amazing time on our trip. From the moment we stepped on to the boat our guide was fantastic. It was a great history lesson in all thing Venetian and any questions we had were answered. We visited Murano and Burano and our guide ensured we didn’t miss anything at the same time giving us space. Would highly recommend! Thank you so much

Great time visiting the lovely islands. Wish the stops were longer.

The tour was very good. The guide very friendly. Small proscecco tasting on board and demonstration by a glassblower. Only small regret: not having had more free time on the islands.

Christina was the best guide we have had while doing many tours on our ten day trip to Italy! Full of information delivered in a very knowledgeable yet entertaining manner. Also very nice, personable and caring with her clients!
