Cruise to the islands of Murano and Burano aboard a comfortable boat on this guided tour from Venice. Step back in time at the ancient Basilica of Saint Mary and Saint Donatus. Uncover the magic of traditional glass blowing at a factory and take in the vibrant houses of Burano.

Meet your local guide in a central location near Piazza San Marco and board a private boat to learn more about the Venetian lagoon and its islands.

Stop on the characteristic island of Murano, and visit the 7th-century Church of Santa Maria e San Donato.

Stroll through the silent streets for about 15 minutes to arrive at an old glass factory where the glass blowers are still working. Benefit for some free time to shop or explore the rest of the island.

Then, travel by private boat to the nearby island of Burano. Upon arrival, take in the colorful houses of one of the most enchanting parts of Venice. Lose yourself in the picturesque streets and discover lovely corners.

You will have free time to enjoy lunch on this tour.

The guide Andre was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would have liked it better if there were less number in the group. For the purpose of buying Venetian glass products, purchase them in Burano. I found more variety and less expensive options too. The boat ride is beautiful, make sure you watch the sunset.

A most enjoyable trip, on a lovely boat not to big, & our guide was brilliant told us lots of info about where we were going, told us lots of story's about people. Murano glass factory was delightful we saw a demo of how things were made, & going around the shop was magical. Burano was truly beautiful place & the cafe by the bridge overlooking the lagoon was stunning, lovely snacks & wine. On the way back going around the lagoon was very interesting, a truly lovely experience.

Fantastic trip with excellent guide! So worth the time and money - especially for first time visitors to Venice.

practical organization, and very pleasant guides. The time given to Murano is more than enough, especially if you do not want to buy handcrafted glasses. on the other hand, the stop at Burano deserves 1 hour more to allow time to wander more.

Important clarification: we first visit Burano; very nice for strolling around, but two hours is too short to include lunch and a possible visit to the museum! so you have to choose .... in Murano: the glassware is at the descent of the boat, the demonstration is nice but it is clearly a commercial operation. for non-English speakers; abstain because you completely miss the comments that make the excursion interesting.

I'll give it 5 stars as we thoroughly enjoyed the day trip to the islands, although on reflection we could of well spent another hour on Burano as the island is so lovely & we just wanted to explore it a bit more & then have a bite to eat and this is without seeing any lace being made (tbh we weren't fussed but this may help others who want to) Our guide was lovely, very friendly & informative, the only part apart from being able to spend long on Burano is that we stood outside the church on Murano for a good 10mins been told the history before walking into it, this for us was at last 5 mins too long, other than that a really great day out on both islands as watching the 'live' demonstration of the glass being made was superb.

A very nice tour. Our first stop, Murano, was interesting because you could see the glass blowing workshop, but otherwise it was rather unspectacular. Burano, on the other hand, is a very beautiful, small, picturesque town. It would have been nice to have had a little more time there (it was about 1 1/2 hours on this tour)

Guide was really friendly and welcoming. She was very knowledgeable and made it a great experience. I really appreciated that the tour started on time. Not enough sun cover on boat transportation.
