Murano Tours

I was a nice experience and we saw a lot of interesting things.The only problem was that the program was a bit tight and we didn't have a lot of time in any of the islands to really enjoy them or even sit for a quick coffee. We were on the run the whole times. On top of that they combined 3 groups in one so the boat was a bit crowded and we didn't have a proper place to sit between the island hopping. (We sut on the stairs)

We chose a private tour with a guide to the island of Murano, and it was a very pleasant experience, a far cry from group tours. Our guide took the time to tell us about the history of Venice and we visited places far from the tourist crowds. We stayed in Venice for four days, and this outing was by far the best. Grazie mille!

Fantastic tour with Giovanna, an extremely nice, hard-working Venetian woman who speaks perfect German. Very well organised, extensive and interesting information about Murano and the history of this small island. Lots of new impressions and, above all, good memories. Everything went well from departure to return and our guide was great. A very good guide who has a very good command of the history of these islands and who manages to switch between English, French and Italian. He was great, we loved our excursion.

This was a lovely experience and i would definitely recommend it. Be aware when booking there are different parts of the boat some with views and some without which i hadn't realised. The food was good however as a vegetarian every one of the 5 courses was cheese including the dessert so a bit more variety would have been nice. Plentiful wine during the meal which was very enjoyable.

The tour with Allessandra was so informative and enjoyable. I loved all the little tidbits of history that she shared along the way, and she was very willing to lend her local expertise to any questions about the area, including restaurant recs, etc. My 10 year old daughter also enjoyed the tour, especially the glass making demonstration. This tour had a good balance between organized and free time. I found this to be a good value, because it included the private boat ride, which was similar to a water taxi (which are expensive!).

We really enjoyed this tour. Valerio is a great host and I very much appreciated that he took us to places that gave us a feel for how people actually live on the islands. Seeing the garden in Mazzorbo was truly a breath of fresh air. It was also interesting to get the perspective of someone who actually lives on one of the islands.

A most enjoyable trip, on a lovely boat not to big, & our guide was brilliant told us lots of info about where we were going, told us lots of story's about people. Murano glass factory was delightful we saw a demo of how things were made, & going around the shop was magical. Burano was truly beautiful place & the cafe by the bridge overlooking the lagoon was stunning, lovely snacks & wine. On the way back going around the lagoon was very interesting, a truly lovely experience.

The tour was well organized and run on time. The glass blowing demo at Murano was good and impressive although it felt a bit short. We had lots of time for some shopping afterwards. We had to skip the visit to Burano due to some time limitations we had. overall it was a great experience.

Boat on time and easy to find guide. View from boat to islands was beautiful and guide was very informative. The glass products (and demonstration) at Murano was mind blowing. Definitely buy there as it is cheaper than in Venice. Burano is also beautiful. Would have loved to spent more time there, but a wonderful trip to see the two islands.

It is a 4-hour tour that allows you to visit Burano and a glass factory in Murano. If you have little time available it is ideal, but if you want to make a more detailed visit, another tour is better.

Very well organized, friendly guide and very inspired by his region. The advantage of this tour is still to avoid crowds in the public shuttles and also to take the time to stop where you want. Disappointment nevertheless on the visit to Murano, especially on the too short demonstration of the master glassmaker.

A short city tour before a gondola ride with excellent information from our guide ""Marta (Maria?)"". Really good jokes. Then we continued the gondola ride, which lasted about twenty minutes, and discovered Venice from a different angle. An unforgettable experience!

Georgia grew up in Murano and was an awesome guide! Pleasant and made us comfortable. Easy to chat with. We saw everything listed and got some interesting background information on many areas from her. The weather was perfect for the taxi boat ride up the Grand Canal and around the ""fish"" ☺️. We highly recommend this excursion! And lunch 🤩, pasta was yummy with wine, appetizers, coffee and dessert cookies. Thanks Georgia for a perfect introduction to your home city 🥰.

Glass display was great. We enjoyed torcello too. It was quiet but charming. Burano by far the best. We were delivered in a chaotic way. Started at 2pm then had to change boats and joined us with a massive group. Didn't get going til 2.45. When stopping at burano they said they were going and someone would be back for us at 6. This was a little worrying. They turned up just to take us back and it felt like no connection with new people. Didn't get back til 7 so longer than expected. Great trip for price but ours felt chaotic.

The first stop was too short, after the glass demonstration and a little wonder by their shop you have almost no time to explore the place outside!! We did the half day because we couldn't book the full day anymore so this still a good alternative but of you have time go for a full day trip.
