We enjoyed Morano but particularly Borano as I could have stay there for a whole day. As others have said, if only we did not have to stop at Torano. Transport was good, but again as others said that the PA was difficult to understand at times. My husband, who can speak Italian, noticed that there was more information given in Italian than in English.

The excursion to the lagoon gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. The boat ride through nature was breathtaking, and a stop on the island of Murano allowed us to see the glass making process and learn about the art of glassblowing.

The boat trip was fabulous but there was no assistance/ follow through once you boarded the boat. No sign of anyone using the audio guide which I attempted several times to access but without success. Also the promise of a glass factory tour at Murano, included in the ticket, did not transpire. Felt there should have been further information at destination, and the audio guide should be made more simple to find and use. So in summary, go for the transport but don't expect the extras they promise.

I highly recommend this perfect trip to Murano and Burano. It was beautiful, informative, and a shopping extravaganza! I wish I had done the full day tour to spend more time! One negative was the meeting place!!! Give yourself extra time. 8 of us waited with no guide meeting us!

It was interesting to visit the islands surrounding Venice. Each island was different in terms of beauty and were all aesthetically pleasing. In murano the main attraction was the glass factory other than that there wasn’t much there. Torcello was more historical but smaller. Burano was the busiest of the three with many restaurants and beautiful scenery. You were allocated about 60 minutes to see each island before your boat left to get to the next island.

The boat tour was absolutely worth the 20 euro. Yeah, you don't get to spend that much time on the islands, but what do you expect for 20 euro for 4 hours. On Murano you're brought straight from Steeg to a glass blowery and you can watch them make a vase and a horse. Then there's a little time left over to buy the glass pieces they've made. In Torcello you visit the church. In Burano you have about 40 minutes to view at least the main spot on the island. Overall this was a nice trip and the pricing was appropriate.

The first stop was too short, after the glass demonstration and a little wonder by their shop you have almost no time to explore the place outside!! We did the half day because we couldn't book the full day anymore so this still a good alternative but of you have time go for a full day trip.

The boat, the menu, the service, the quality of the cooked dishes are perfect: it's not a tourist trap. Too bad that in the middle of the night you can't make out the outside except at the approaches to the more or less lit islands and the illuminated monuments.
