activity was good however it felt very rushed at both locations. at the meeting point the guide failed to hold up a sign so it was difficult to find the meeting point. we had to ring the company to get better information. Murano particularly rushed with most of the time spent lining up for the glass blowing demo

We had such an amazing time on our trip. From the moment we stepped on to the boat our guide was fantastic. It was a great history lesson in all thing Venetian and any questions we had were answered. We visited Murano and Burano and our guide ensured we didn’t miss anything at the same time giving us space. Would highly recommend! Thank you so much

You can get to the sights comfortably and without crowds on the boat and will be picked up there again at the specified times and drive to the next point. The timing of the sights is individual and you don't have to submit to the time specifications of the guided tours. Although the electronic guide announcements are only superficial, they are definitely enough to provide a historical, geographical or other background. However, it would make sense to inform customers that instead of the hop-...

The tour was perfect! A good amount of time and the islands were lovely. The island of butano was our favorite. Tour guide was amazing. She spoke four languages and explained a lot of history and nearby structures. Would recommend for sure.

Well organised host trip to Murano and Burano. Glass making demonstration was good. Not long on each island but enough to get a flavour and take lots of photos. Boat ride was interesting with information given by the guide. I think it was good value and would recommend as a half day trip which doesn’t eat into a short break in Venice too much. Loved the colourful houses on Burano which was the main reason for booking.

The educational visit on the manual processing of glass in artisan ovens is interesting. But I don't understand why the shop is induced in internal shops with very high prices, even in the shops in the internal square of the town. The paradox is that in the bazaars along the route to Venice in the Rialto bridge area, the prices of Murano glasses, identical to those we bought on the island, are 3 euros lower per piece. One out of five would come free. What a disappointment!!! Interessante la v...

It is perfect for this time of Covid, because the steamships are full of people, and here you go practically alone, it is very clean and they have excellent service. The only thing that you have to plan well, because they tend to pass every hour at each stop and as it has 2 routes, time is wasted, especially since the last minute ones are quite early

The glass blowing demo on Murano was enjoyable and the colourful houses on Burano were worth seeing. However, the time spent on the glass show room was too long, and we were only taken to that glass shop on Murano. It would be much better we could take a look at other places and visit other shops on the island.

Venice Boat Rides: A Unique Way to Explore the Floating City

Venice is a city built on water, renowned for its stunning canals and bridges, as well as its romantic gondolas. If you're visiting Venice, one of the best ways to experience the city's waterways is through a Venice boat tour. Whether you're interested in a short 30-minute ride or a full-day tour, there are plenty of options to choose from. In this article, we'll cover some of the popular Venice boat rides, as well as tips for planning your own adventure on the water.

Gondola Rides

A traditional gondola ride is a must-see for anyone visiting Venice. Gondolas are the most romantic and intimate way to experience the canals, and expert gondoliers will take you on a journey passed some of the city's most famous landmarks, such as the Rialto Bridge and the beautiful villas along the Grand Canal. While gondola rides can be expensive, it's worth it for the experience. For a more budget-friendly option, consider sharing a gondola ride with a small group of travelers.

Water Taxi Rides

If you're looking for a faster way to navigate Venice's waterways, a water taxi may be the best boat for you. Water taxis are similar to traditional gondolas but can accommodate more people and travel at a faster speed. They can be especially convenient if you need to get to or from Marco Polo Airport, the train station or any other location in Venice.

Vaporetto Rides

Another popular way to experience Venice's waterways is through a vaporetto ride. Vaporettos are water buses that take visitors on a tour of the city's canals. They are an affordable and convenient way to explore Venice, as they have numerous stops throughout the city. The vaporetto is also a great way to reach nearby islands such as Burano and the Venetian Lagoon.

Popular Routes for Venice Boat Rides

The most famous route for Venice boat rides is the Grand Canal. The Grand Canal is the city's main waterway and is lined with some of the city's most beautiful architecture. It's a great way to see the city from a different perspective and soak up the atmosphere of Venice. Another popular route is through the smaller canals, which allows for a more intimate experience and the chance to witness some of the city's hidden gems.
