Sylvia was an amazing guide, who shared her passion for the island of Burano with us. It was like having a friend take you around their home, sharing all the best kept secrets. What a lovely lady!

Silvia is a wonderful tour guide native to Burano. My kids (ages 8 & 13) and I enjoyed her historical knowledge and personal insights about living in Burano. We ran into her relatives and friends as we walked around the island. Silvia’s love for her home and community was evident. A lovely and intimate tour.

We've traveled all over the world. I tell you, this is the BEST tour we've ever taken. Why? Our guide Silvia. I knew NOTHING about Burano. I'd seen pictures of the colorful homes, & I wanted to surprise my wife with a visit there. That's literally all I knew. Just prior to the trip, I found & booked this tour. Burano is a very magical place. Silva's a Burano native & now raises her family there. There's only 2000 residents & everyone knows everyone. Again, magical!! Her tour was SO enjoyable. Silvia's **passionate** about the unique island they get to live on. She'll excitedly tell you all about life there & show you special things you'd otherwise never know about. She guides you to local restaurants & bakeries. She's a natural born PERFECT tour guide & host!! Lastly, when I got back home, friends saw pictures. They thought they were paintings. "No.", I said. "Those are REAL pictures. It REALLY does look like this!" We will go back to Burano & again book Silvia!!

My bestfriend and I went to Venice for 3 days and our tour of Burano was unequivocally our favorite part of our trip. Silvia is a true joy to be around! She does a tremendous job incorporating history, folklore, and stories on the tour which kept us completely engaged. We also very much appreciated the authenticity of Burano. Venice - with its large number of tourists - often felt diluted; it was hard discern the its identity. The opposite is true for Burano. As soon as we got there, we could feel the realness of it. Throughout the tour we engaged friendly locals who helped paint the picture for us. Oh, and the architecture + colors are STUNNING! In all my travels I’ve never seen a more beautiful palette of colors. The perfect place to take pictures for your social media posts (but please be respectful of the houses and residents)! Burano is also where I bought my gifts for home. Best place for lace (my mom loves her new table decor). Thank you, Burano & Silvia!

This was an good tour - giving a great insight to the island and pointing out many things we would have missed if we'd simply wandered around by ourselves. Sylvie is an extremely engaging and enthusiastic guide with an obvious love for her island. My daughter and her partner recommended this to us and I am so glad they did.

We loved our guide, Silvia, she was wonderful!!! Her love and pride for Burano made the tour exciting and special as she spoke as a native with family history that had lived there for generations.

Very knowledgeable local! Learned the history of the town and area. Including the lock system, lace industry of old, life after founding the village, water management, the barbarians, napoleon, life now, house color selection, population and cost of living. Casual walk. Local restaurant recommendations. Really a pleasure!

Our tour guide Silvia was excellent. Not only was she knowledgeable and entertaining, she had the type of personality that drew a person's attention. Her family has lived on the Burano for successive generations. While walking around the various parts of the town, she often greeted family members and introduced us to them. She shared memories and family history with us that really gave us a rare glimpse into the history of Burano and current life of the people who live in this close-knit community. I have been on tons of guided tours but because of Silvia this one I will always remember!
