we had a simply lovely outing with Benedetta as our guide. she is very knowledgeable of the area and she is also very friendly. the tour was timed well and we did not feel rushed. they offered the option to book a restaurant for us and we enjoyed a wonderful meal on burano. although it is a pricey excursion the personal service and transport from beginning to end was exceptional. the tour to the islands was fun and interesting as long as you understand that the artisans who study for decades while continuing to hone their skills don't only work for show... their items are for sale.
