When the sun goes down and the daytime crowds fade, Venice reveals a more mysterious character. This 90-minute ghost tour takes you through deserted squares, hidden passageways, and historic sites, offering a different perspective on the city’s past.

Your guide shares local legends, unexplained occurrences, and ghost stories passed down through generations. Along the way, you’ll pass by the Gondola Danieli and Bacino Orseolo, one of the main gondola stations near St. Mark’s Square. The journey begins in Piazza San Marco, where you’ll learn about the square’s lesser‑known folklore.

From there, you’ll walk under the Torre dell’Orologio (Clock Tower) and through Merceria S.Zulian, a street known for high‑end fashion. At Chiesa di Santa Maria della Fava in Campo della Fava, near the Rialto, the guide reveals legends tied to this quiet corner. You’ll also stop outside Casa di Marco Polo to hear about the famous explorer’s life—and the intriguing story of his Chinese wife.

The tour continues to Campo San Bartolomeo, offering a view of the Rialto Bridge while you listen to the disturbing tale behind its construction. Throughout the evening, the commentary remains engaging and lively, blending history with storytelling in a setting free from the usual bustle.

This walk is ideal for travelers seeking a different side of Venice—one rooted in myth, memory, and the unseen.

A lot of walking, but, totally worth it! After seeing all the "touristy" stuff, we went back at night to see the darker side , and it was incredible. Our guide really presented the scary backstory to such a historical city.

Good value...other reviews here seemed disappointed that there were no ghosts, but the stories and legends involve apparitions and visions...I think they were well spooky and just fine. Our guide communicated in English well and was very enthusiastic ...nobody in my group was disappointed

This walk lasted about an hour and a half. We met the guide in St Mark's Square and she walked us round the streets of Venice, telling us stories of times past and possible ghosts. It wasn't really a ghost walk as much as a history walk but it was interesting to find out about Venice's history. Recommend this if you want to know more about Venice and walk off the usual tourist streets.

Cool night walking tour around emblematic places. The ghost stories were interesting ghost stories. I had some wow'es! The tour guide knows her narrative, but I missed some answers about Venice History. She speaks good English too.

Isabella was a delightful guide. Well informed and engaging as our tiny group moved through the city hearing multiple stories. We would highly recommend this tour to others. We would take it again if our travels return to Venice. Thank you Isabella. We enjoyed the entire tour.
