Only had one free day in London and this helped me cover a lot of ground! Good commentary and sites. Wouldn’t say it’s a must-do, but if you’re on a time crunch and want to see London eye and Tower of London it definitely helps!

I had a fantastic time on the London River boat trip. The views of the city’s landmarks—from the Houses of Parliament to Tower Bridge—were stunning, and the commentary was both informative and entertaining. The staff were friendly and professional, and the boat itself was comfortable with plenty of space to enjoy the scenery. It’s a relaxing and unique way to experience London—highly recommend for both visitors and locals!

Really informative with knowledge of history and fun facts. We booked previously two years ago and came back to do it again and we would do it again when we return to London. The gentleman doing to commentary made us laugh with the things he was saying. Amazing boat ride. And a good price.

Great experience with perfect weather today! Our guide was very informative and funny! There were so many sites to see and only so much time, but it was a great overview and let us see other points of interest that we would like to go back and explore!

We travelled Saturday 18th April and it was excellent. Shane, our 'Captain', was fantastic. He has the perfect amount of knowledge, humour and wit. It was our first attraction that morning and it set the tone for the day. Highly recommend.

I did this with my two teens, one way trip and we all loved it! Saw loads of sites and enjoyed the commentary too. Getting off at Tower Bridge gave us a chance to explore other areas of London on our short trip. Highly recommend!

Great way to see the city from the river! Beautiful views and so much history! There are two points you can get off to explore or stay on until the end. At the end see the sights of the Greenwich Village and the Cutty Sark. Lots of great shops and food to enjoy!

This river trip was amazing. The boat was clean , the staff friendly and there was a bar, snacks and toilets on board. We left on time so very efficient. But the best bit was the travel guide on board doing the commentary. Not only was it informative from a historical point of view but he was so funny and current with regard to taxes, prices of apartments etc etc. It was a First Class experience all round. Viator are our favourite company to book these tours. Recommend them and the Tour company 100%.

Excellent experience, well laid out with very good audio. Very busy on the day but we were still able to move about freely.

It’s a beautiful and relaxing way to see London from a different perspective, with iconic landmarks unfolding one after another as you glide down the river. The commentary on board added a nice touch, giving us interesting snippets of history without feeling overwhelming. We chose to take the one-sided trip and return to Central London by Metro, which worked perfectly. It gave us the freedom to explore Greenwich at our own pace and then head back quickly and conveniently. Overall, it was a smooth, scenic, and enjoyable experience—an easy recommendation for anyone wanting to enjoy London from the water

It was a great trip down the Thames River, afternoon tea was delicious. The only thing I would recommend for the tour is if they clean the front windows it was hard to see out the front.

Loved the boat, the tea offerings were good, the tour guide was good too.... a perfectly wonderful afternoon. for the tea, didn't really like the "Chipotle sandwich" because I wanted a traditional tea experience. the guide said "if you visit the Tate Modern Museum you'll understand why its free".... and that comment totally threw me off, sounded negative for whatever reason. favorite item was the scone with clotted cream.

The tea was great and we were able to get multiple refills. The sandwiches were perfect and the trip was long enough for us to enjoy, relax, and see all of London's biggest attractions from the river's perspective. I recommend this for anyone coming here.

We really enjoyed this event. It was my birthday splurge. I did wish they brought us more tea though. But the tea we had was good and the food was good. Our tour guide was funny and informative. We walked to the Roman wall and across Tower Bridge after.

Enjoyed every minute and the food and drink were delicious! Commentary was great and injected with humour which was entertaining.

This was great. Food was tasty and the tea was strong. I’m a little bias because we got a front window seat but I would 100% recommend.

The afternoon tea was great. 90 mins was perfect for it. The workers were nice and professional. We saw all the major sites and going under Tower bridge was awesome. We ate and spent the last 30 mins on the upper deck enjoying the weather. Would highly recommend.

It was just ok. The Eye area is swarming with people + the top of the boat was full in no time. It was a particularly warm day so inside on the lower level was very hot, the view not great. In retrospect, it’s the kind of overly-touristy activity I tend to avoid so my take away may be colored by that fact. However, the guide was adorable and funny + made it better than it would’ve been otherwise.

Our London Eye River Cruise was the perfect start to our trip, and Mitch made it truly stand out. He was charming, knowledgeable, funny, and so helpful throughout, striking a great balance between informative and entertaining. It was a fantastic way to get acquainted with London, and we came away feeling excited and oriented for the rest of our visit. Would absolutely recommend!

This tour was very good. I enjoyed walking around at night with a group in areas that I would not walk alone. Tour guide was excellent. She spoke loudly and dramatically to make the stories very interesting. She also maintained safety of group when crossing streets. I highly recommend this tour. The boat ride to the Tower was extra special at night.

Fun stories and interesting walk - tour guide left half of the tour group on the boat and we missed the remaining half out of the tour. He didn’t collect us and just got off the boat.

Great Walking Tour! Would have liked it a bit scarier though and slightly later in the evening when darker. The boat trip at the end would have been better if we had our own boat or section of boat to continue the ghost stories along the way.

The guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable; this tour is properly named in that it's first and mostly a walking tour with 4-5 stories along the way.

This is a very economical and simple run up and down the river. The musical entertainment was fun and engaging, he got everyone up and dancing by the end of the cruise.

I had such a beautiful evening on the London night cruise. The Prosecco, tasty canapés and the amazing live singer made the whole experience feel so special. Seeing Big Ben, the Shard, the Houses of Parliament and HMS Belfast lit up from the water was absolutely stunning. The glass boat gave perfect views and the whole night felt calm, cosy and a little bit luxurious. If you want a simple but memorable London experience, this is one I’d fully recommend.

Fantastic! Staff were welcoming & friendly. The cruise was a highlight of our stay. We had a perfect night with a full moon. Sunset was amazing we enjoyed the singing of the vocalist on board & had a dance whilst enjoying all the attractions. Would highly recommend.

Great experience overall - complimentary drink on arrival and small appetizers brought around by the staff throughout and prices for additional drinks were reasonable. The staff on the boat were excellent and provided great service. The boat itself was pretty comfortable and we had great views of London in the evening.

This is a very pleasant and relaxing cruise. There is no narrator or guide to interpret what you're seeing, so if you are looking for a guided tour, look elsewhere.

The 2 hour river cruise was fabulous from start to finish. Excellent service from all the staff, very professional, aswell as being friendly. We enjoyed our River Thames Evening Cruise, especially the stunning night-time views of London—truly the highlight of the experience. The city looked spectacular from the water and made the whole outing feel special. The sparkling wine added a nice touch, though the canapés were fairly average, mostly simple toppings on soft bread. Overall, it was a pleasant evening with beautiful scenery, even if the food could have been a little more exciting.

Great fun speeding along the Thames. Felt safe but was still adrenalin filled. Interesting facts about buildings along the way. Well worth the cost. My 11 year olx grand son thought it the best.

It’s awesome! Takes a little bit to get to the speed part, but then it’s so much fun! Music selection was really nice and appropriate. Emma’s directions were clear and she was so nice and friendly!

Our guide was fun and full of energy and we loved the experience from beginning to end. We had fun going fast and we learned a lot of great info when moving slower. It was incredible to see so many sites from the water and was a fun and fast way to take it all in and then go to a specific site if you want to after to see/hear more. NOTE: I would bring a hat or scarf to protect your hair and a coat if it’s not hot out bc it’s colder on the boat.

This tour was absolutely magical! Jackson was hands down the best guide I’ve ever had, full of energy, hilarious, super knowledgeable, and just an overall delight to be around. He brought the streets of Edinburgh (and the world of Harry Potter) to life with his amazing stories and fun facts. Jackson is hands down the best guide I’ve ever met — an endless source of fun facts, humor, and pure passion for the world of Harry Potter. You just can’t resist his energy! Massive shout-out to our amazing Slytherin guide, Jackson 🐍💚 Aside from the magic of the tour, Edinburgh itself is breathtaking — it’s impossible not to fall in love with this city. And discovering all the Harry Potter history woven through its streets (after all, it is the birthplace of HP!) makes it a total dream for Potterheads. 10/10 would do it again! ⚡️🏰✨

Good ambience, great table service and fantastic views ! Our seating was right up front which gave great views on London at night !!! We were celebrating my wife’s 65th birthday and our server Aslam (I think) decorated a plate and improvised a birthday cake, which was great ! The lady who was singing the romantic oldies had a great voice ! All in all it was a great experience. Thanks to the entire team on the tour !

The dinner cruise was a great last minute addition to our trip. The skyline is beautiful and visible from your seat and top deck. The food is okay, and drinks are extra but very affordable. Entertainment was great, a pretty good singer. I would recommend to friends and family. The only thing missing is a brief narration of the skyline as I’m not familiar with it.

If you want to dance get seated close to stage. Entertainment is excellent. Food is tasty. Plan on waiting between courses. Waitstaff fantastic. Look at weather before you come. Layer clothing.

Our 'guide' who's not a guide was excellent. Spoke very clearly, pointed out the sights with some nice, sometimes funny, little anecdotes. It's a great way to get yourself down the river for a little more sight seeing once you get there.

The Thames River cruise was the highlight of our London trip. We saw so many historic sights at that level. The ride was very smooth. The tour guide was humorous and informative. We learned so much in a fun way. We highly recommend the Thames River cruise!

Very Safe and Convenient. Enables you to travel from on Pier to another whilst sightseeing with a different view from the River Thames. Reasonably priced too, including the items at the bar. The staff were friendly and the lady that did the commentary on our trip was great too!

Our tour guide, Lizzy, made the whole day SO MUCH FUN. My sister and I flew over to Scotland from our Dublin vacation for just the day. We had the absolute best day touring the filming locations with Lizzy at the helm. As we drove she'd share interesting tidbits of history or Outlander stories. Her being an Outlander superfan helped to make the day extra special. We loved the whole experience! Can't recommend the day highly enough.

The tour was outstanding. My girlfriend and I are huge fans of “Outlander” series and Stefan, our guide was the best thing that we could ask for. He was extremely funny, informative, positive and most of all he made the tour a magical experience. I would definitely ,highly recommend Rabbies. They are a good company and have well chosen their staff. My girlfriend and I are definitely going to buy a tour from Rabbies again! 11/10

This tour was super. A really enjoyable and educational day. Our tour guide Graham was excellent his knowledge of Outlander and also the local area and history was brilliant. A really enjoyable and Covid compliant trip. Great value for money and an overall wonderful experience.

A great day despite one castle not bejng accessible on the day. Eric was an amazing guide; personable, funny and very knowledgeable about Scottish history. Would recommend the trip to all Outlander fans and also those interested in castles in general. As a note the tea-room in Culross needs a mention. At the end of a cold day this unpretentious little place offered the best cheese scones and coffee we've tasted in the UK by far. Thanks for a grand day!

Our guide was energetic, informative about history and funny. He made sure we knew enough to get the most out of each stop, the scenery along the way, and to eat well while still keeping things on schedule. It was a highlight for our group of 5 to be able to just take it all in, at a reasonable pace, and to see first-hand why Outlander wisely made use of so many incredible venues and scenery in Scotland. I'd do a Rabbie's tour again anytime, and use Getmyguide on my jaunts around the world. Fabulous!

I fully recommend this Outlander tour to any avid fan!! It was amazing! But I should point out that 2 of the places on our tour you had to pay to get in they are not included in the price you pay. Those were Midhope castle and Blackness castle. Otherwise it’s definitely worth the money! And our tour guide/bus driver Eric really made it more interesting…and entertaining! I honestly can’t recommend this tour enough, I’m a HUGE Outlander fan so this was like going to Disney land for me!

I might be willing to give a 5-star review if our tour guide Barbara hadn’t started out the tour by loudly complaining about how much she hated Outlander, the main characters, or the lead actor himself. Completely unnecessary, rude, and downright insulting considering the fact all of us had paid a large sum for a magical Outlander specific tour. Incredibly unprofessional and downright insulting to the fans of the show and book. Would consider another Rabbie tour because of the small size, but would honestly ask for a refund if I was stuck with Barbara for another 8 hours. Actual tour was great, sites worth seeing, but Barbara sucked, for a lack of better term.

Our tour guide Robbie was very informative, he even told us about how Scotland formed geographically millions of years ago, and how that affected its climate and landscape. I was amazed to hear the highlands of Scotland formed from a piece of land once connected to North America, and that's why you can find granite rock there, while the lowlands of Scotland formed from a different geological "event" and therefore has a different landscape. You can read more about it at Wikipedia--fascinating info! Robbie played the "Outlander" main theme music on the way home and it gave me goosebumps. I told him this and he said his mother used to sing this melody to him as a lullaby when he was a child. Wish I was back in Scotland--life there is so much more tied to history than in the US, and therefore every moment there feels more significant and fulfilling. Hard to describe, but maybe some will understand my meaning.

My mom and I had a great time on the Outlander tour. We went on this tour not because it featured properties that were featured in the TV series, but because we wanted to visit these properties. The tour guide and driver were amazing (David Ewan) and they made the day so much fun with their great personalities and stories. It was a great tour to go on whether you are a fan of the TV series or if you just want to see some really interesting historical sites.

Exciting and beautiful bus tour…. Also great for non Outlander fan..... Lallybroch was ok..... Not much to see. Blackness Castle is absolutely great... Culross is super small but nice - beautiful for a walk... Doune Castle with an audio guide is interesting. linlitgowth-Castler unfortunately closed, but still nice to look at from the outside. Tour highly recommended. Our tour guide Jan was very friendly and told interesting stories... Everything was perfect

We had a wonderful day touring a lot of the sites where the series Outlander was filmed. The van we were on was very comfortable we felt very safe throughout the day. Our driver Dougie he was very informative and a great source of information about Scotland in general. We would highly recommend to other fans of the series Outlander of those that just want to see part of the Scottish countryside.

My daughter and myself used this as our river tour while in London. Learned a little bit about the different things along the river. Can get a little breezy while sitting on the top deck (we went in March) so dress in layers!

Very good. Easy to locate. The personnel very helpful. Not really hop on and off. Went from Westminster to Tower bridge and back. Guide told same stories each way.

A traffic free way to get about in London. No stress just sit back and enjoy the views. On the quays the staff need to be more active and inform passengers of where to go and better signage would help also. That said an enjoyable trip.

The boat had to stop service due to extremely high tide the day we went. However, the company that ran the boat honored our tickets the next day because of it.

Very memorable journey with city cruiser on the river Thames. you can visit few sights on one day without worrying about the transport .

Decided to see London from the river Thames with a friend visiting from Bermuda, Guide was excellent & great fun! We had a ‘hop on hop off’ ticket which gave us the chance to walk to key sights & then get another boat back up river.

I rather enjoyed the boat ride along the Thames River. The staff would explain different icons along the water way with recommendations of sights to see, pubs to eat ate and a joke here and there. I liked the light heartless of the journey. I also loved the hop on and off package. The staff gives a time table of docking and undocking making it convenient.

I chose this tour over the rest due to the smaller van (less people) and advertised hour at Stirling which was more than enough time for me to run through the castle, get some grave stone rubbings & visit Church of Holy Rude. The day was perfect- perfect weather, did all the things & squeezed a bonus highland cow stop (which I loved) thanks to the Amazing Guide Andrew. This was my favorite tour that I took while in Edinburgh. Pete was a fantastic tour guide. He was funny and had an awesome playlist. He told us lots of great information that we hadn’t heard yet. There were plenty of stops for bathrooms and snacks. He recommended a great place for lunch and even threw in an extra surprise stop. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

Amazing tour. We only had two days in town and were so happy to spend one of them on this. From the begining it was calm and welcoming, with extremely knowledgable and authentic staff. It never felt "touristy", due to our small group of 8 people and our amazing guide Graham , who was so great. He told us so much about the history, geology, culture, arts, and played well selected music along the route. Perfectly timed stops and lengths of driving in between, so it never felt rushed or boring. 9 hours went by quickly, but was genereally a great length. Would 100% go for a Rabbies tour again, could not recommend enough!

Beautiful! Appreciate David for switching the order of the trip to accommodate for the weather. It gave us a fabulous walk along the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomand.

The tour was amazing, we were lucky enough to travel with William as our guide who was simply brilliant. He taught us so much about the history of Scotland throughout the day and I'm pretty sure he's also a comedian as he kept us laughing from start to finish. The only thing I would change is that it would have been nicer to have more time at Glen Coe and less at one of the other stop off breaks, otherwise perfect! Great way to see the sights and learn at the same time. Would 100% recommend to all.

A brilliant day with driver William and guide Graham. The Scottish Highlands were far more beautiful and mesmerising than on photos. Went through all four seasons of weather in one day but it made it more magical. Would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Murray the driver was amazing the whole way through the trip. Telling us about all the things we passed as Joking as we went as well. The views are amazing. only thing we would have changed was the waiting around at Loch Ness as we didn't want to do the castle or boat trip and all there is is a shop and cafe. so entertaining yourself for an hour and a half was a bit tricky, but that's not Murrays fault. He was great. it was a lovely day out and worth the money

Had the best day. Our driver and tour guide Rob was fantastic. Rob was very informative and had many stories to tell. The beauty of the Scottish Highlands is so spectacular I will definitely be back again. Make sure you chose the boat cruise and visit the castle. Both are awesome. Cruising on Loch Ness was gorgeous and serene. The weather was perfect and stops along the way were also fabulous. Loved every minute.

I absolutely loved my trip , Alex the driver/tour guid was great he told us history about the place he was patient he kept us entertained . Extremely helpful - the tour company is lucky to have such a charismatic and helpful employee. I will book another tour with your company and hope Alex is the tour representative again! We had a great time on our tour, saw so many beautiful areas of Scotland and had a good amount of time to look around at each place we stopped. Our guide Jamie was absolutely amazing! He had a wealth of knowledge about everything Scotland and kept us entertained with great stories and music. Definitely recommend this experience!

A great trip that is definitely worth going on. Breathtaking views, fantastic guide. Very sociable, he had a lot of funny jokes in his party, but also stories about the area told in an interesting way, there was also some Scottish music on the board of the bus. Great atmosphere. Only the stops could be slightly longer in one place and shorter in another.

At first I thought 12 hours would be a long trip to take, and going in winter with less sunlight would make it less enjoyable. But the time was well worth it and the winter experience added to the excitement as there was changes from place to place along the way, from rain to snow, overcast to clear blue skys. Our tour guild was very good and with a wonderful way of sharing history and local knowledge. Highly recommended and will treasure my trip.

We had a fantastic day with Steven B who was funny and informative! We liked the stories mixed with the history, and adding the music was a great touch too! Lots of stops and we saw more than expected from the road, including the Kelpies and lots of castles as well as the gorgeous scenery of the Highlands. Definitely worth visiting Urquhart Castle and doing the Loch Ness boat tour (optional extras).

Rory was our tour guide and he was brilliant. Gave us loads of information and stories of the history of places as we passed them. He gave us plenty of time at each stop and kept us fully informed of where we were/going. He played some grate music and had some funny jokes. It was the best bus tour I've ever been on and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Great trip with awesome commentary. Highly recommend if you are new to Scotland and want to see as much as possible. Don’t rely on the places you stop to get food as there are very limited options and some stops there was not enough time to be able to line up, order and eat in the short time frame you were given, in particular the ‘dinner time’ stop.

London eye and Madame Tussauds was really nice, bus Sea Life was too crowded for such small place. No worth money.

The timings were a lil off. I selected 2:45pm as my first activity at Madame Tussaud’s so that left me 2 and a half hours for the other 2 destinations. Which I missed 1 because that got closed at 5pm. The destinations are not all at the same place so it took us a bit of time to travel. It just tells you to select the time for the first destination. Rest is all on you. Plan a whole day and start in the morning to get the most out of it.

It was very good especially Madame Tussaud's, too bad there were not more celebrities. Not too much tail it goes quickly. London eye was cool but good for 30 min after you get bored. And Sealife cool too especially for children, I was able to touch a starfish so that's a plus. I highly recommend.

Excellent experience in all activities. Strict time slots in Madame Tussaud’s which was the most crowded, so make sure you don’t arrive too early, because you’ll have to wait. Great value for money for families as children will enjoy sea life a lot! London eye is the one you should visit on your first days, as you can have a great view of most sightseeing

Worth the money. I really enjoyed every part of it and it felt like I knew London immediately after this full day activity. I saw landmarks that I wouldn't have in case I hadn't booked the activity. The cruise was a very pleasant touch to it. We did the full bus tour in the morning. We got on the cruise around 1pm and then continued half the tour by bus once again until at 4pm when we had the slot for the London Eye.

I would definitely recommend this full day activities. Keep in mind to start early if you have kids. They will keep stop you every now and then for the food and etc. We started the big bus tour in the last hour. Otherwise, it was great day around London, and it’s worth it.

Loved the London eye and river cruise (the guide on the boat was funny and made the experience even better). The bus tour was average, quite confusing to where we heading etc, some bus drivers really helpful others not so much. Overall was a great experience and certainly would do it again.

Well organised activity london eye/river cruise/ open top bus tour. Staff helpful and friendly. The river cruise was fab. The staff were knowledgable and funny. Made trip very interesting. The tour was great and great value. We did the London Eye and the cruise first thing. Then stopped at the London Tower and took a bus to Buckingham. I only wished the bus run a bit later. We wanted to take the West tour at 6 and there were no more buses. I had to take the underground.

Highly recommend this day out. The Big Bus is awesome and the commentary is great - for young and old. It’s convenient and you can just plan your day as you wish. Don’t forget to book your time slot for the London Eye online. The cruise was good - a nice way to see the sights - especially The Tower of London. We added St Paul’s Cathedral entrance tickets and stopped there along the way - unbelievable. A must do!

We loved seeing London on the Big Bus and enjoyed the cruise. Unfortunately, we did not make it on the London Eye; maybe next time! Two things that could be improved: 1. The audio on the Big Bus can be very annoying. Just stick to the facts of the sights without all the joking and music in between. 2. It would be nice if the cruise would go round-trip instead of one-way.

The hop on hop off feature was great however it wasn't made clear that you needed to reserve a timeslot to ride the London Eye. When we checked in to get our ticket for the bus they told us the Eye was sold out for the day which was pretty upsetting. The Big Bus concierge at the Westminister Bridge stop told us to check back at noon to see if anything had opened up. We did so and we were able to secure a slot...so kudos to him for his customer service! It just needs to be plainly spelled out that when you get your voucher you also need to make reservation for the Eye! In addition it would be good if the stops were clearly marked with the corresponding numbers on the Big Bus map as some were difficult to identify.

This was a combination of very fun and relaxing activities. The London Eye must have its separate slot booked for which a queue is still there but at least it's moving. The experience itself was excellent. Great views of London especially Big Ben. The Thames cruise was fun and the tour guide was hilarious. Nice perspective from the river. The BigBus was enjoyable, seeing all attractions and areas of London to get a good overview. Fully recommend.

Absolutely brilliant, so worth investing in the package deal. everyone was so helpful and kind. My personal favourite was the boat, the information was so interesting and the skipper who delivered it was funny and informative but my 12 year old adored the London Eye. Just a great way to view the iconic sites.

River cruise was short but sweet - Not too much commentary and somewhat hard to hear. We took it from the Tower of London to the London Eye. Then caught the London Eye. And then started the bus tour. Don’t worry too much about your time stated on the Eye tickets - they will just let you in by just showing the ticket - just make sure you get a time and have the bar code to scan on your phone. The bus tour is a nice way to tour around the city the first day just to get to know your bearings and see the city without going through the tube. Realize a one day ticket is valid for 24 hours from when you first get on a bus so you can do an afternoon and then the next morning. You can start from anywhere there is a bus stop. Just show them your tickets on your app and they will scan.

collecting the ticket was so much easier than I thought at the meeting point, We collected our ticket around 1pm had only two time slots left for the day for London eye so better to collect your ticket early if you can so you'll have plenty of time options to choose from.

The tour was really good as we didn’t need to drive. The least you want to do on holidays drive the roads you don’t know. The highlands were really impressive. The driver Rich was very knowledgable and friendly. The only thing we would change extra 45 min would be nice after we leave ship

We had a lovely time - the trip was very well organized. Our guide/driver Kristy (I hope I'm spelling her name right) did a phenomenal job with her excellent driving, great storytelling and overall nice personality. We'll definitely recommend this trip to our friends!

Excellent tour - a long day, but you see loads and there are regular stops along the way to stretch your legs and take a closer look at particular points of interest. Colin, our driver, was very knowledgeable and made the day come alive. The boat trip was excellent. Definitely recommend; well worth the money.

Very good tour in general, spectacular landscapes to take your breath away, but most of the time is spent inside the bus, understandable by the distance between round trip. A trip worth it to get to know the highlands and Loch Ness region. However, there are some points that are worth highlighting so that it can be improved, the "Lunch" that actually shouldn't even have that name, in fact is nothing more than "bread, ham and sauce" besides potato chips, should be informed better in the details, it is not worth taking this option. For the price you pay on the tour, at least they should offer water and they didn't even have that. Another thing that bothered me a lot was not being able to recline the seat, informed by the guide (so as not to disturb the colleague in the back). I've never seen a situation like this, I thought it left something to be desired due to the long journey. In the most worth it for the landscape and the place. And the option with cru

Saw a lot of the Scottish Highlands even in 12 hours, beautiful sceneries, informative and helpful driver who didn't speak too much or too little. I just wish we had more time to explore the loch area, we only had 60-70 minutes, and if you did the boat trip, you didn't have time to walk around the lake or the village after, or grab some local food, because you had to get back on the bus immediately. Also, instead of the many photo stops we took, I would put more frequent bathroom breaks. We only had 3 in 12 hours and they too were unevenly spread out.

It was a rainy day but our driver was so interesting and told us about extra details along the route to Glencoe and Loch Ness. The only challenge was we had inconsiderate other riders who talked the whole way making it difficult for some of us to hear him. I don’t think he could hear them, but maybe drivers could just remind bus riders to consider others if they wish to converse. I moved to the back of the bus behind the rude passengers where I could hear his comments/answers better.

We had an amazing day! It was such a wonderfull surrounding to be in and we have had enough time to get off the bus at the best spots. A great thanks to our driver Sandy as well for his kindness and hughe enthousiasm. He mad us fall in love on Scotland. He was such a joy to have as a driver!

Chris P was an amazing driver. He knows all about his country and history. His way to speak it is a lot of fun. This guy has a lot of humor. Be aware that the trip is rather long (500 km) but the good thing is you will see a great variation of the highland. Enjoy

Really great tour! Euan our tour guide was very well spoken and educated on Scottish history. The bus ride was a little long, but was well worth it because of the frequent outstanding stops for pictures and snacks. We spent the extra 20 quid for the Loch Ness boat tour and that was also well worth the cost.

The tour guide, Michael, was excellent. Great driver, entertaining and knowledgeable. Felt 4.5 hours on a bus one way to look at a lake and a fair bit of commerce was a bit much. The info along the way and the highlands saved the day. I think the tour company should have warned about boat ride tickets before we left Edinburgh as we couldn't buy them later as they were sold out by the time we got to Fort Augustus.

The highlands is a spectacular experience. The stories behind it makes it more meaningful and interesting. Our driver Calun is very funny and knowledgeable. He loves his Scottish heritage and it shows in how tells his stories. Make sure the weather is clear and bright to fully appreciate this tour.

John was the best tour guide! He is an incredible story teller, has an awesome playlist, excellent sense of humor, and extremely knowledgeable about Scotland. We were laughing within seconds of getting on the bus. It was the best three day trip. John is very helpful and a skilled bus driver too. My wife and I had such a wonderful time doing this tour. Well, aside from the obvious reason that the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye is absolutely extraordinary-the views are just gorgeous, our tour guide, Steven made the experience even more memorable. With his stories, jokes, and his playlist, the experience was just memorable. There wasn't just a tour just like his. A little bit of warning though, if you're looking for a quiet tour, Steven is not for you. But if you're into listening to legends, myths, history and just plain fun and loud tour, you have to get him.

This was a wonderful experience and people who come to visit Scotland should definitely take the hairyCoo three day tour with Brian Smith. I had this 3 day tour back in early July. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. As the only solo traveller on this trip I was offered the seat right at the front, allowing me to see more of the stunning views from there and back down. Each day was amazing and there was so much to see. The Scottish Highlands are truly a stunning part of the world. Our tour guide was Rose, who is an absolute phenomenon at storytelling and a PRO at driving, who made us all feel at ease on those narrow roads! I cannot recommend this trip enough! I'm already planning to A massive thank you to Rose! And to the Hairy Coo company for this amazing, unforgettable experience!

It was FANTASTIC! Wear comfortable shoes (I bought sneakers with memory foam and it was a BLESSING) and dress warm (bring a sweater and a jacket; Isle of Skye is pretty chilly and you will see some FANTASTIC scenery throughout the trip, but a lot of it is at the top of hills and the wind isn't very forgiving) and you will enjoy yourself immensely! And if you can, request Brian Smith as your guide; you will NOT regret it. He will keep you so entertained that you will be sad when the trip is over. Genuinely friendly and hilarious; a perfect example of what I was hoping for in a Scottish man/guide =) As a proud lover of warm weather (and the U.S....most days), only Brian could have me strongly considering moving to Scotland. (I hope you are reading this Brian! It's Princess, and I wrote that last part just for you. =) )

Even though I normally don't like tours, this one was superb! Rose is a fantastic storyteller--very well read, knowledgeable and articulate. She will make you want to read up on Scottish history and Celtic myths. She catered to everyone's needs and made the whole experience extremely interesting. My tour was given by Rose and it was incredible. Rose has a magical way of telling stories the passion she has for her country and heritage is infectious. She weaves you through a historical narrative that evokes pride, sorrow, humor and a belief in magic. In times when she is not talking you will still feel the love she has for Scotland in the musical buffet she has prepared for you to listen to as you are mesmerized by the Landscape. Rose also knows everyone/thing at all the stops (dogs, people, the best coffee, treats etc). Seeing the highlands through her eyes made the experience. Sincerest thanks for such an incredible three days.

Steven and Tony were a phenomenal duo for this tour. Either one of them would have made this a memorable experience, and I will be sure to recommend The Hair Coo to anyone I know is coming to Scotland. If I only had three days here, none of it would feel wasted if all I did was the three day tour. There's just so much to experience between Stevens stories, the sites to visit, and the towns to explore.

Please opt for Brian Smith, the best and the most entertaining tour guide. I enjoyed the tour most because of him. The tour has selected the best of places in the Highlands and Isle of Skye. Great trip, great guide, amazing scenery. So much to see and do in the Highlands and on the Isle of Skye that 3 days only allows brief stops at many places, but amazing places they were! Wouldn't hesitate to return and I'd be happy to use the same tour company again!

Now every time I hear Bridge over troubled water I'll think of crossing the Forth bridge in Scotland. Because Brian knew what songs to play at the proper moments and is excellent at creating memories, his storytelling was exceptional. He has a way of rousing the crowd to make it an enthusiastic and enjoyable experience. Most notably he's a proud Scotsman and made me feel proud to be a MacDonald. It was evident that he is the right man for the job, enjoys himself and I highly recommend him as a tour guide. I hope he was appropriately tipped.

Scott is a great guide - really personable and nice and had a lot of knowledge of the area. We really enjoyed the tour - despite no restroom on board there were a lot of rest stops. We got sandwiches in Callander that lasted us the whole trip and enjoyed sweet treats in Port Augustus and Pitlochry. I was nervous about going on the Loch Ness cruise but it was so calm that I didn’t get boat sick at all! Well worth it for a day trip to the Highlands!

If you are have limited time in Edinburgh, don't want to trouble yourself with driving and love to hear stories about the highlands, then this is it! With no doubt, Steve is a wonderful person who have tons of knowledge and histories to share with you. Also, he's very funny, very Scottish, he said, I quote "know how to speak Gaelic". He also can point to you which shops sell the best chippy and bread! The only reason I wouldn't recommend this trip is if you have motion sickness because highlands can be a little snake pass. But hey! That's a thrill for some others ;)

I had the most amazing time on this trip. I would recommend it to everyone. The best thing is that I had a driver named Ryan, who had amazing knowledge and provided 12.5 hours of pure energy and entertainment. Things to keep in mind, you will need cash for the boat ride (for me it was £16.50 for an adult, I think it was £11 for a child). You have plenty of time in the coach to relax and listen to the history of Scotland. I would definitely recommend bringing snacks and a mini picnic in case you get hungry, but I assure you there are plenty of places to get food in Loch Ness. There were plenty of stops to go to the toilet as well and the driver was very accommodating. Thank you Ryan for an amazing trip to the Highlands.

A quick day trip into the highlands to get a taste of the region. Definitely worth the time and money. Our driver/guide Stephen was entertaining and friendly. He clearly loves his job and enjoys what he does. The bus is fairly small and not very comfortable for such a long day, but it’s ok. There are no washrooms on board but our driver made plenty of stops to accommodate us. There are no foot rests or USB chargers on the bus so be prepared as it is a long day with lots of time spent on the bus.

It was excellent. John, our guide, was amazing when he talks you can feel the passion about Scotland, his pride to be Scottish. He entertained us all day long with stories, legends and facts about the highlands and Scotland in general. I loved the experience

In future, i would just like to add that some rocking music needs to be played inside bus which prompts tourists to dance on groovy numbers.

This day trip absolutely fantastic! Our tour guide Scott was great, his stories were funny and informative and his music taste exquisite! It was a looong day spent in a bus, but the scenery behind the window was breathtaking. The stops we made were great and the views just gorgeous:) I also took the Loch Ness cruise, which was also fun! As a solo traveler 10/10 would recommend:)

Stephen, our authentic Scottish guide, was excellent this day, a long day to be sure! We had him tour us on 6 July 2022, and strongly recommend both him and also this tour. Beautiful scenery, animals, and stops for food during the day. But the dinner stop was too short to actually get food to bring not he bus. Be advised however u r going to go 1.5-as much as 2 hrs between bus stops and bathroom breaks, as there is no toilet on board the buses.

Amazing tour! Our guide Ryan was very kind, funny and helpful! He told great stories and played some music on the bus. It was a long tour but with plenty of stopping (about every 2h on average). Scott was very energetic and had a lot of info to share. Great driver. Music playlist was great (please, share!). Phone chargers on the bus were not working. Glen Coe definitely worths a separate visit. Overall, it was great to get a glimpse of different parts of Scotland, including the Loch Ness.

Was a lot of fun. We had the whole boat to ourselves. Lots of laughs. Met friends there and our teenagers loved it much more than some of the more historic sites. They wanted to do it again.

An absolutely amazing experience from start to finish!! It was raining so aswell as the thrill of the speed zooming down past London Bridge to the sounds of the James Bond theme tune we felt the rain in our faces and it made for an even more exciting ride!
