A camel ride through the Agafay Desert as the sun sets could not be any better. Immerse yourself in a beauty that will stay with you forever. Set out in the direction of a peaceful area of the desert that is dotted with stunning hills that reach to the horizon.

Get gotten from your inn in Marrakech and make a beeline for the desert with a driver and group. Find out about how the camels are uncommonly adjusted to abandon life on the roll over. A teacher will be there to help you get started and give you advice. Hop on top of these adorable creatures to take in the stunning scenery.

Stop for some time and partake in the serenity of the nightfall and the wizardry of the desert bands, which once went through these equivalent ways between the Sahara and the Atlantic. At the end of your ride, authentic Moroccan snacks, tea, and Berber hospitality await you in a shaded local home. This activity, performed in the company of a trusted local crew for a long time, will be a hit with you, your loved one, your family, or a group of friends.

The actual tour was described as 1.5 hours. Shortly before we received a message that we will be picked up 2 hours earlier. Without any explanation. Then we were driven through the area for almost 2 hours and picked up a lot of people from their hotels. In addition, the driver kept on the phone while driving (without a hands-free system) and even made notes. It was a hell of a ride. The camel ride was really a very special experience, but it took maybe an hour in total. Then the whole trip went back and we were on the road for almost 5 hours in total. That was more than annoying and not booked anyway.

Samir picked us up on time to leave. After 45 minutes we arrived at the destination. Maybe a bit close to the street. We were over-dressed and we rode in a caravan of 8 camels with Abdul and Jusuf towards the sunset. We had a spectacular sunset and then a wonderful conclusion with tea and music.

All was perfectly as described. Was contacted about pick up location the day before and the driver was right on time. Good and clean micro bus took us outside to the city near the desert (approx 40 mins drive). The tour itself though was relatively short. You start by wearing a dress (which are clean and definitely adds to the excitement) and then riding on your camel. You walk along a short distance the guide takes some nice shots of the sun setting down behind you on you r camel. After that there you go to a tent to have some tea, which is kind of nice. The camel guide was a very young and funny guy. He spoke english extremely well for some one living in the desert. I can definitely suggest this for any family with small kids.

Journey to the desert with a very nice driver who entertained us with music and Arabic lessons. The camel ride on desert (not of sand but of the rocky type, very pretty) was pleasant. The very good local boys offered us tea under the tent, and played and sang traditional music. Recommended

Amazing and humbling experience, the tour guides were so welcoming and friendly such a pleasure to be able to spend some time with them learning about camels and their way of life. A real eye opener, makes you appreciate life so much much and cherish the small things.. followed by amazing pictures with the camels in the sunset. Priceless experience

The camel ride was a fantastic experience. There was an issue with the transportation. When we booked the program we were told that the driver will pick us up at our riad at 17:30. On the same day we received a message (in the early afternoon hours) that the exact pick up time is 16:30. Unfortunately we didn’t have internet so we received the message later. We were lucky that we arrived back to the riad from the city exploring around 16:30, we planned our day to be back by 5pm in order to be on time. So we almost missed the program. It would have been nice to receive such details early enough and not on the same day as it can’t be expected that everyone has internet abroad all the day. It should have been communicated during the booking that the pick up is ~1 hour prior the program start but during the booking it was clearly stated that the pick up is at 17:30. Other than this it was a great experience.

Fantastic private tour with a lovely and accommodating guide. Beautiful views of the desert with lovely sunset views. Our guide took lots of pictures of us on our phones whilst on the camels and after the ride was over, he took pictures of us standing with the camels and in front of the sunset. Definitely worth the money paid. Everyone was lovely. Transfer was on time and prompt

This trip is amazing from driving, although bumpy but part of the experience, through the Atlas Mountains, seeing the Atlas film studios, if you are a movie fan a must see, to seeing Aït-Ben-Haddou the oldest Kasbah....there are no words to describe this you have to see it it is AMAZING! Our gunde and driver Abdehaq and Massi were great, very knowledgeable and funny! I had a great day!

Very nice guides! If you see comments saying there was a delay, it is partly (totally) our fault! We were the first that the driver had to pick up, and we were stuck in a taxi, in traffic jams They still waited for us! The sunset was sublime, we took some wonderful photos .. I highly recommend!
