The team with the umbrella was waiting for us even though we were running 10min behind. The guide even repeated his intro for us, which was very nice of him. The only thing is we forgot to bring our headphones therefore we couldn’t enjoy the audio guide as we were touring. The audio guide order also doesn’t match the building order they gave us. But the castle was beautiful. The ticket was an absolute must. Would recommend!

The tour was very professional and informative. We were on the road with Edita Mackova and learned an incredible amount about the history, the wonderful architecture and culture of Česky Krumlov and received many tips for further activities. We were thrilled and can highly recommend this tour with Mrs. Mackova.

Prague Castle is really worth seeing, you can go on a discovery tour and put yourself in another world. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, you have to pay extra for each part of the mountain you want to visit, but it's worth it.

A must visit in Prague. This great route of about 3 hours allowed us to discover the Lobkowicz Palace and the circuit of Prague Castle including Saint Vitus Cathedral, Saint George's Basilica, the Old Royal Palace and the Golden Lanes. Sublime places steeped in history. As a bonus, a sublime view of the city. We highly recommend.

Cesky Krumlov from Prague: drive was super comfortable. We were only 4 adults and the driver who acted as a guide. We learnt some history of the town, walked along the cobbled streets, did some window shopping, stopped for lunch. I would not call this a typical Czech meal, but was glad we didn't eat much as there's some uphill walking and stairs to get to the Castle. Inside the castle we had an English speaking guide. After the castle tour we had some free time, just coffee and a pastry and then we went to Ceske Budejovice. It was OK for a day trip but given the chance Cesky Krumlov merits 2 days at least.

The tour was great, Romeca briefly introduced us to the sights of Prague in the evening, away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Stopover with the possibility to take a typical beer with you. I recommend it unreservedly.

Why Visit St. Vitus Cathedral?

The St. Vitus Cathedral is the crown jewel of Prague Castle and one of the most spectacular landmarks in the Czech Republic. As the largest and most important church in Prague, it has been the site of coronations of Bohemian kings, royal burials, and a key center of religious and architectural heritage.

A St. Vitus Cathedral tour allows visitors to explore its stunning Gothic architecture, intricate stained-glass windows (including the famous Alfons Mucha window), and the Chapel of St. Wenceslas, which houses the Czech crown jewels. Climbing the South Tower offers panoramic views of the entire city, making it a must-see attraction for any Prague itinerary.

How to Get to St. Vitus Cathedral

Located inside Prague Castle, the cathedral is easily accessible by public transport or on foot.

  • By Tram: Take tram 22 or 23 to the Pražský hrad stop, which is the nearest entrance to the castle.
  • By Metro: Take Metro Line A (Green Line) to Malostranská Station, then walk uphill or take tram 22.
  • By Foot: If you're exploring from Charles Bridge, a scenic 15-20 minute uphill walk through the historic Lesser Town leads to the castle.
  • By Taxi or Ride-Share: Uber and Bolt offer convenient drop-offs near the main entrance.
