Travel to Murano, renowned for its glass-blowing industry, from the Piazzale Roma railway station. The still-thriving tradition, which dates back to the Middle Ages has been passed down through generations and each glass blower has developed their own unique style.

During your one-hour stay on the island, learn to distinguish between the various brands and artisans by watching a glass-blowing demonstration. Continue on to the island of Burano, which is famous for its crochet work and colorful houses.

The leaning bell tower and the main square, Piazza Baldassarre Galuppi, which is named after a significant Venetian composer from the 18th century, provide stunning views of Burano. During your 1.5-hour visit to the island, browse the lace shops. After that, end your trip on Piazza San Marco, where you can stroll around the famous colonnades and see landmarks like the Doge's Palace and Campanile.

We went on the tour today and thought it was fantastic! Everything was very smooth, easy to find and the tour itself was great! Georgia who led the tour was brilliant and her knowledge of the area as well as her ability to speak 4 different languages fluently was incredible! We would definitely recommend and if we return to Venice again in the future we will book again!

Very nice visit to the Burano and Murano islands, but not enough time to visit well, the glass blower was very fast and after a short time to visit Murano, and for Burano not had time to eat because 45 mins free but no time to do both, so it's been visited. I had taken the guided tour on the boat, well not had, just English and Italian so nothing understood. Otherwise nice discovery of the Islands it was very pretty.

The trip was beautiful, the commentator was nice and helpful. They came on time and were very friendly. However was quite short, especially for Burano you needed more time. We took the half-day trip though thats why, so i would recommend the full day trip so you can have some extra time.

The tour started on time and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The guide spoke English a little bit quickly and was very difficult to understand (this was also due to the fact that the mostly Italian-speaking guests immediately began to parley after the explanation given in Italian and thus caused an additional noise level). The meeting point was described in detail in the confirmation email - but there was no sign or other information (beach flag, sign, button, parasol with logo or the like) to be seen at the meeting point. The boat arrived very punctually, so there was no "blue" ship to be seen. This was better solved on the tours in Amsterdam or Copenhagen. Personally, I would like more detailed explanations of the sights - it was a bit superficial.
