Your first stop will be on the island of Murano. Sometimes it is called the "Island of Glass". You will visit one of its famous glass factories and see how glass is made and blown. Then go to Torcello, the oldest inhabited island. Continue on to Burano, admiring the nature and small islands scattered around you. Spend your free time on Burano, a typical fishing island with colorful contrasts and painted chocolate box houses.

Also, note the many pieces of evidence of the famous lace and embroidery industry and try some of Burano's famous homemade cakes. Note that once you're on the ground, it's not a tour. The guide will accompany you to the glass factory in Murano and the lace store in Burano. You will then have time to explore each island on your own.

Know before you go

  • Please note that once on the ground, this is not a guided tour. The guide will escort you to the glass factory in Murano and the lace shop in Burano.
  • Afterwards, you will have time to explore each island on your own
  • Opening hours of the ticket offices can be subject to change due to COVID-19.
  • As such, please exchange your vouchers at the point of departure until normal operation resumes

Live commentary in English during boat ride. Boats have a capacity of up to 100 pax. Live commentary during boat ride can be of up to 4 languages.

Very good experience.. You can visit the islands separately at a lower cost but I recommend it, especially if you're in Venice for a very short stay. Furthermore, this tour is complemented with a guide.

Really worth the money. Instructions not clear about where to exchange voucher for ticket. You do this at the ticket office on San Marco pier. Nice to see the other islands. A little longer in Burano and Murano would have been good. The boat wasn't over crowded and everyone had a seat. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed the trip. There was enough time in each place to go and explore.

We enjoyed Morano but particularly Borano as I could have stay there for a whole day. As others have said, if only we did not have to stop at Torano. Transport was good, but again as others said that the PA was difficult to understand at times. My husband, who can speak Italian, noticed that there was more information given in Italian than in English.

It was interesting to visit the islands surrounding Venice. Each island was different in terms of beauty and were all aesthetically pleasing. In murano the main attraction was the glass factory other than that there wasn’t much there. Torcello was more historical but smaller. Burano was the busiest of the three with many restaurants and beautiful scenery. You were allocated about 60 minutes to see each island before your boat left to get to the next island.

It was raining and there were only a few people on the boat. It was a unique and beautiful trip. We saw so much and learnt a lot too, the trip was definitely worth it, those 4 hours were well used. Would definitely recommend to others.

Very beautiful islands to discover, guide at the top for the translation, only downside pity not to have much time on the islands because some shops are not open.

I really enjoyed the tour, but as a minus I would have preferred a little more time, maybe on Murano and Burano, in particular. But we had enough time for a short tour and and some photos in every location. I would recommend this tour to everyone who want to catch a glimpse of these islands.

At first it might seem a bit pointless booking this tour as the water bus passes you can buy quite cheaply cover the locations on this tour meaning you can do them at your own leisure, but this tour has some commentary, a boat with plenty of room on it that’s not too crowded or hot, and you’re also not waiting in queues half a mile long for boarding. Perfect amount of time at each location and was back before evening. Beautiful scenery on the way. Overall well worth the price of not having to queue for hours and the comfort of getting a nice window seat, less hassle and much less stress than just using your standard water bus

Excellent! Was worth it, rather than reach them with public transportation. Price is cheap. Glass factory worth watching - even if you do not care about it. Simply awesome.

This was a very quick tour (and time could feel very limited for some), but thought that the price was worth it (since you’ll pretty much pay the same if you just buy tickets on your own — but at least figuring out your itinerary would be one less problem). At least I got to see all these beautiful places even for a short time!
