Enjoy the panoramic tour of the Venice islands: a day trip to Murano, Burano, and Torcello in the northern lagoon. a trip to experience the islands in all their splendor.

After an entrancing boat ride in the Tidal pond overwhelmed naturally, you will stop in Murano, the glass island, known all through the world for its glassmaking craftsmanship. You will go to a Furnace to see a glass-blowing demonstration and learn about the ancient technique. You'll be here for one hour and fifteen minutes).

After that, the tour will continue on to Burano, the jewel of the Venetian Lagoon. Burano is famous for its lace-making and for the brightly colored houses that fishermen live in. Take a chance to admire the women embroidering lace-made products as you stroll through the "calli," which is how Venetians say "streets."

Staying on Burano, probably the most charming island in the lagoon will require more time. Because you will arrive in Burano at lunchtime, you will have the option of eating at a typical fish restaurant or shopping at handmade lace shops. You will remain for one hour and thirty minutes).

Last but not least is Torcello, a quiet, sparsely populated island that served as the estuary's first urban center. On these islands, you can respect the most established houses of worship of the tidal pond and find out how Venice was conceived! (You'll be here for one hour and fifteen minutes).

You will return to the islands by boat, traversing the entire lagoon and taking in the fascinating St. Mark's Basin.

Really nice excursion to visit Murano and Burano ! The guide Andreas is perfect, he can speak lots of languages. Really practical to be able to board and get off at Santa Lucia or Saint Marco. We also visited Torcello, but I think it isn't worth the detour. The time we could spend in Murano and Burano was not enough, it would be better to skip Torcello and lengthen the time in Murano and Burano. Burano is the best spot for gorgeous photos !

It was a great way to see the culture and history of Venice and the surrounding islands. The glass demo was interesting and a must . The coloured houses in Burano are eye-catching and the story behind them light hearted. With quaint restaurants, for a light bite and a glass of wine. Spent approximately an hour and half at each location.

The guide was amazing and narrated everything in 5 languages all day! The weather was not great--rainy and cold--but that could not be helped. I understand that we were trying to take in a lot of sights in one day, but it did at times feel very rushed.

We walked along the narrow streets and admired the work of the craftswomen who create lace products. We spent more time on the island of Burano enjoying its charm.

The information given by the multilingual guide was clear and interesting to know. The islands are a must see, Burano being the most picturesque with its brightly colored houses. The boat ride is comfortable. The free time granted on site allows you to wander the alleys while admiring the very nicely stocked local shops.

The excursion to the lagoon gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. The boat ride through nature was breathtaking, and a stop on the island of Murano allowed us to see the glass making process and learn about the art of glassblowing.

The educational visit on the manual processing of glass in artisan ovens is interesting. But I don't understand why the shop is induced in internal shops with very high prices, even in the shops in the internal square of the town. The paradox is that in the bazaars along the route to Venice in the Rialto bridge area, the prices of Murano glasses, identical to those we bought on the island, are 3 euros lower per piece. One out of five would come free. What a disappointment!!!

Very nice demonstration at Murano glass factory , but that's it, no factory tour, only the shop. Beautiful experience exploring Burano. Rather sad at depopulated Torcello Island.
