After a fascinating boat ride in a lagoon dominated by nature, our first stop will be Murano, renowned worldwide for its glassmaking art. You will go to a furnace to see how glass is made. You will have the chance to buy a piece of the local production while you are there. The tour will then move on to Burano, an island known for its lace-making and colorful fishermen's homes. When you get off the boat, you'll be in a green lane. After a short walk, you'll reach the main square of the island.

The service of a specialized official tour leader, who provides assistance on the islands and some information aboard, is included in the tour. With this special excursion, you will have more time to stay on Burano, probably the most charming island in the lagoon. When you arrive on Burano for lunch, you will also have the chance to choose one of the picturesque locations for a quick lunch (not included in the ticket price) and experience the venue's relaxed atmosphere. The departure and arrival times are ideal for guests staying outside of the city center.

Boat with a panoramic view, from which you can capture breathtaking views of Venice and its lagoon.

The 2 island tour was good for us overall. The boat was nice and allweil organized. We would have enjoyed more time on each island, Murano and Burano, as we had only some 60 minutes available for us on each island. The glass blowing presentation was a disappointment. It only took some 15 minutes and I missed explanations and close up views.

This tour was the highlight of our Venice stay!!! Don't hesitate to book, you won't be disappointed. Burano's vibrant colors were breathtaking, Murano enlightened us with the art of glass blowing and the wine tasting was a great touch to the tour!!! Our guide was professional and set the tone for the organized tour.

We had a great time watching the glassmaker create a horse before our eyes in Murano. And then we enjoyed watching the lacemaker lady do her part for a tablecloth, I believe. We learned it takes 7 different lacemakers to make the design for the cloth. It was fascinating! Burano is such a quaint beautiful town with lots of nice shops and restaurants. Our tour guide was very informative, too! The boat ride was in a covered boat and our tour guide shared more information about the smaller islands we passed.

At the beginning everything was ok: the guide, the transportation to Murano. But the visit on the island was too long: exept the factory there is nothing to do there! It's just touristic. Burano is more beautyful. And you can visit more things there, so here the visit was a bit too short! Then we went back to San Marco at about 3. Our guide was'nt there anymore? and we had to manage on our own to find a person who told us we had to wait till 5.30 to have a boat to our starting point??? We had to wait too long! So we went back on foot. It isn't normal. The distribution of time for this activity is not good: too much time in Murano, to little time in Burano and more than 2 hours to wait at San Marco. Don't forget most of the people had already visit San Marco!

This was a very good tour. To watch the glass blowing was amazing. The glass blowers are so skilled in their work. The lace produced was so beautiful and such delicate work. The coloured houses were so pretty and gave real character to the island. Our guide was very good and had a lot of knowledge. A must do tour.

First of all Nicole was amazing, a true historian. She shared a lot of stories on our round trip to both islands. Muranos factory I was a little hesitant about but, it’s a labor of love that has been on going for centuries. If you can please go. Burano was absolutely beautiful even in the rain. The second leaning building don’t miss it.

Our guide Christine, a local, was fantastic. She was professional, clear in her explanations and gave a lot of insider tips. We left at 9.30am and were back by 2.30pm. Approximately 1.5hours per island. I think if you are in Venice for more than 1 day it’s worth checking this out. I enjoyed the glass blowing, the lace making was a bit haphazard.

Fairly decent tour with a nice boat ride and glass blowing demonstration and some time to walk round the town's. I think it's good value for money. Burano and Murano are by far the best islands to visit.

"A short city tour before a gondola ride with excellent information from our guide ""Marta (Maria?)"". Really good jokes. Then we continued the gondola ride, which lasted about twenty minutes, and discovered Venice from a different angle. An unforgettable experience!"
