Know before you go

To use the commentary on the mobile app you must have a smartphone or a tablet (headphones recommended)
Children under 2 years old ride for FREE if they do not occupy an additional seat
The guide will only be in one gondola, the participants in the other gondolas will listen to him/her with the audio devices.
This tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with walking disabilities
The gondola ride is NOT private, rather shared with other people.
Each gondola can host maximum 5 people; the seat aboard cannot be chosen but will be assigned by the gondolier to ensure correct weight distribution
The itinerary could change in case of wind or bad weather.
You may have to wait when boarding the gondola
Pets are not allowed on board the gondola
Digital and printed vouchers are accepted (to be shown to staff at the meeting point)
Please be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the departure time.

We like it a lot. Before the gondola ride, there is a short tour with a guide who tells us some facts about Venice. We really enjoyed the ride, the gentleman who took us on the gondola spoke Portuguese which was very lucky for us. From then on it was easier to create a conversation and he told us some facts along the way.

• The price is per person.
• The price per child under the age of 2 is FREE if the child does not occupy its own seat in the gondola
• This tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility
• Each gondola can accommodate a maximum of 5 people; the seat on board cannot be chosen, but will be assigned by the gondolier depending on the guests' weight.
• The guide will be on one gondola only, the participants on the other gondolas will listen to him/her via audio devices.

• Comfortable shoes are recommended

• The tour for children under the age of 2 is FREE, only if children do not occupy their own seat in the gondola
• This tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility
• Each gondola can accommodate a maximum of 5 people; the seat on board cannot be chosen, but will be assigned by the gondolier depending on the guests' weight.
• The tour includes musical accompaniment (singer + musician) for the duration of the whole tour. There will NOT be musicians on each gondola, they will be boarded on the one in the middle of the row to give everyone a chance to enjoy the live music.
• The itinerary may change in case of wind or bad weather.
• Pets are not allowed on board the gondola
• Digital and printed vouchers are accepted (to be shown to staff at the meeting point)
• No penalty for cancellation within 24 hrs before the tour. On line customer service 7 days a week, 9.30 am – 5.30 pm
• The tour does not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather, high/low tide (in these cases it can be postponed the days after otherwise it will be refunded).
• Please be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the departure time.

Venice Tours Assistance Point is in St. Mark's Square, Calle Larga dell' Ascension #1257. The Assistance Point is the big grey newsstand between Fendi Boutique and Poste Italiane (the Post Office) with a sign "VENICE TOURS – ASSISTANCE POINT". The staff will wait for you right there with the signboard “Gondola Tour”. Please be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the departure time. HOW TO REACH THE MEETING POINT With Piazza San Marco and the arches of Correr Museum at your back and Poste Italiane (the Post Office) in front of you, find on your left side the Venice Tours Assistance Point - the big grey newsstand (with many souvenir and newspapers). The newsstand is located between Fendi Boutique and Poste Italiane (the Post Office) and has the sign "VENICE TOURS – ASSISTANCE POINT".

The time in the gondola is quite short, it's a shame and our gondolier didn't have the typical outfit but the ride is nice. In addition, the initial visit in the streets of Venice with the guide and the experience with the virtual reality headset was rather nice

Very good for the price it is, opposite of maybe the 100€ that ask you the private gongoliers, here you get probably the same experience for not even half the price. Plus in the end you get VR tour of how was Venice back in the days for free, so what can you ask more for? I definitely recommend this tour.

The walking tour was excellent. We learned a lot about the city. The gondola ride was good but not very long and there was no live guide during the ride. It's something to check off the list at a very reasonable price.
