Venice City Tours 2023

This tour was very good, the guide took us through the backstreets, we did not touch any of the busy tourist parts. He explained the history and pointed out different areas Whitchurch you would not generally see. We all really enjoyed this tour, My husband mum and dad

This trip takes you through a few small canals onto the main canal and then back in. It’s just a small round trip. We booked 45 min but I think it was the same route as 30min. Just slower. No passing of the Rialto bridge in this tour. We paid 175 euro, which is probably way too much. Better ask around when you are there. For a better price and better route.

Very well organised. Our guide was there to show us onto the Gondala. We had an 1/2 hour ride which was amazing as we travelled through narrow canals and under a number of bridges. Would certainly take the same trip again!

Great walking tour. Only bad point was that the meeting point was wrong in the voucher and we had to make several phone calls to meet the guide. The meeting point was given for large groups and not for small, private groups. They meet at the Venice Tours office. As compensation, the tour went much longer than the planned 2 hours.

We did the tour with the guide Francesco and it was great. It was important to him to reach each individual in the group with his explanations and he showed us beautiful corners far away from the tourist streets. The guided tour was in English and he has such a clear pronunciation that you don't need to be fluent in English to understand him. Excellent experience. Very very well organized. We walk along the emblematic monuments of the Grand Canal as well as the small arteries, very good value for money. Meeting point very easy to find. Do not hesitate, you really will not regret.

We went as a group of 11 and had three different gondoliers. While ours did not offer many details he was friendly and whistled some throughout. The other two gondoliers offered plentiful information about the buildings the occupants were seeing.

This tour is definitely for people who don't have any hearing issues there were no Audio-receiver devices (groups over 10 people) to assist and need to huddle up with group so as to not to miss out on information. Live tour wasn't for my husband was is impaired. It should have been stated not suitable for audio impaired. Some parts of the tour had interesting facts and unusual areas of interest so that was the goid to see in Venice.
