Have a touching tour at the Memorial and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. Afterward, walk to the Wieliczka Salt Mine and listen to the stories of a high-class guide. You will be amazed when you see a lot of chambers carved from salt. Use a hotel pickup service from Krakow.

You will be picked up from your hotel by an excursion transfer and transported to the entrance of the Auschwitz I Museum, where your journey begins. Meet your certified guide and explore the remains of the Nazi camp’s barracks, watchtowers, and crematoriums.

With the help of the provided headset, listen to cruel stories about the ghastly Nazi crimes committed in the camps and learn about the difficult daily lives of prisoners.

On the Auschwitz-Birkenau II Memorial Excursion, walk around the terrible gas chambers that claimed thousands of lives and the remains of the railway that transported captives to the camps.

Continue your educational journey in the nearby town of Wieliczka and visit the famous salt mine. Near the entrance, meet a local guide who will give you pre-prepared tickets.

At 135 meters underground, begin your adventure through labyrinthine passageways, tunnels, and shafts. Walk down long sets of steps to see the famous salt mine.

Explore an original place and enjoy underground lakes, 4 chapels, and unique statues carved by miners out of rock salt.

At the end of the guided tour, take a lift back from the underground and meet your driver. Have some rest along the way back to Krakow.

An amazing experience. Sobering but worth every penny. We started with the Salt Mines and then went to Auschwitz, which was better than the reverse, as it allowed us to reflect a bit more on what we’d seen on the way home, rather than trying to enjoy the mines whilst taking in what we had seen in the Death Camp. Guides were excellent and transport was easy, hard to describe something like this as enjoyable, due to the nature of what is at Auschwitz. However, the experience was unforgettable and eye-opening, which is exactly as it should be.

What an amazing trip to go on , my tips are wear comfortable shoes as there is so much walking, take a packed lunch as we didn’t get time to eat and we were on the go for 11 hours. There are vending machines at the places so you can get cold drinks as it was so hot and your out in the open for a long time

It was a tiring day but we’ll worth the cost. Lots of walking and so much information. Our driver was also excellent and even had an umbrella to lend for our rainy day. The Auschwitz tour guide Marek was sensitive and respectful. He was so calm and easy to understand. The salt mine blew me away! Highly recommend. You might want to separate the two tours as quite a lot of walking and also a lot of information. And given Auschwitz and it’s history, quite an emotional day too.
