Sweet, nice, skilled and attentive waiters. We could mostly communicate in Danish; it was nice to experience two Nordic languages that can still understand each other. Lovely, first-class prawns. There was nothing missing. It was really good value for money. The old Vaxholm fortress was a nice break during the trip. A beautiful trip through the Skærgården, and we were incredibly lucky with the weather. A great end to a lovely week in Stockholm. A city that has so much to offer. But the only thing missing in this beautiful, clean metropolis is access to public toilets.

This trip is superb, and the staff on board are very friendly. The shrimp are excellent. It's a shame that the tables have to be shared with strangers, but I recommend it. It's really a great experience.

Very interesting tour with so nice guide. Beside the regular speech, the guide was walking around the boat to answer to passenger's questions and curiousity. Delicious add-on the included fika time.

The transition from land to water is also great fun. Sofie and the captain were experienced, and Sofie was really funny and always got the energy up. Absolutely brilliant activity made all the better for the guide who was humorous and knowledgeable. Great to see so many different things in such a short space of time. We really enjoyed the trip. Steps are steep to get into the vehicle but seats were relatively comfortable for the duration of the trip.

Well organised with our guide, Martin, being very informative around the route and very funny as well. The choice of Titanic on the sound system as we entered the water was hilarious. Overall, one of the best sightseeing trip we have done.

Even on a rainy and gray day, our guide Adam managed to make us shine. The tour was great fun, wrapped up in a warm suit to protect us from the wind and weather, you get a wonderful impression of the land and water outside the center. The stop on the island of Grinda with lunch in the restaurant was magical. Highly recommended!

Adam is a very friendly guide who created a relaxed atmosphere and told us lots of interesting stories about the archipelago. The visit to Grinda was magical, with an enchanting restaurant serving delicious meatballs. The walk through the mystical troll forest was a lovely way to round off the trip before we took the boat back to Stockholm. The trip definitely benefited from the fact that it wasn't too crowded in May.

A must to do when visiting Stockholm. Just outside the city, you'll have the opportunity to spend a few hours kayaking around the local archipelago less than hour outside of Stockholm. Our guide was super friendly and helpful throughout the tour. Even with the cloudy skies, the tour was still great soaking up the scenery. I had a single Kayak. No experience necessary - you do get a good workout. Others on the tour had a double Kayak. The fika stop/ break on one of the islands was a nice break to rest with light appetizer snack / drinks provided. Highly recommend the tour!

we had such an amazing day out on the water! samuel, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the area and was sure to tell us all about the history of the archipelago. he was also sure to make sure we were all able to keep up and enjoy the kayaking itself-our group had all levels of kayaking experience and noone was left behind or struggling at all. the fika was fantastic. we pulled up onto a little island and all set up a lovely little picnic and explored for about an hour. i can't recommend this tour highly enough-if i end up returning to vaxholm or stockholm i will absolutely be doing this tour again!

We had a wonderful time kayaking. Sam was a superb guide and planned a great route for us. He gave us kayaking tips, told us relevant geographical and historical information about the area, and pointed out interesting sights. Lunch on an island was a great break. Excellent way to get out of the city and get a different experience in Sweden. After the tour we used the sauna on site (additional cost and need to ask if it is available, but well worth it!) which helped ease the muscle aches.

Cory J.

This is a fun excursion outside of Stockholm! Fortunately, the weather was absolutely perfect. I, unfortunately, was feeling very unwell the day of the tour, but the guide was so kind and tried her best to make me as comfortable as possible. There are toilets onsite, but basically port-a-potties. I’m not sure if the description on Viator mentions an opportunity for sauna, but I was not prepared for this as everyone else on the tour was (they all came with swimsuits and towels), so I missed out on the sauna part. Also the pickup spot listed on Viator is incorrect. The kayaking itself was lovely!

This tour was such a highlight of my trip! Carl was an exceptional guide - professional, kind, and made the whole experience both safe and fun. The kayaking route was stunning, and sharing a Swedish fika on a quiet island was such a memorable touch. I felt both adventurous and at peace. A perfect balance of nature, culture, and connection.

If you are lucky with weather, September is a great time for kayaking. Less traffic on the archipelago and possibility for private tour. Couldn’t have wanted a better tour guide than Sam. Fika on the rocks was also nice.

Amazing time! Did the half-day kayak with Carl as our tour guide. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! The small group was great- everyone very friendly. Really enjoyed the stories Carl shared about life in Sweden! Pick-up and drop-off in Stockholm was easy. Directions were clear. Fika lunch was delicious! If you’re looking for a fun, well organized kayak tour, this is it! Thank you for the lovely experience!

Kayaking through the Stockholm archipelago with Karl was an unforgettable experience! 🛶 His calm, confident guidance made everyone feel safe and at ease, no matter their skill level. Karl knew the best hidden spots, from quiet coves to breathtaking viewpoints, and shared fascinating insights about the nature, wildlife, and local culture along the way. The pace was perfect, the gear was top-notch, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. This tour was the highlight of our trip—thank you, Karl , for an incredible adventure!

Marcus was a brilliant guide. This was the best thing I did while in Stockholm. The day out kayaking was a lovely variety of sun and storm. We stopped by at a couple of islands. Marcus gave us great knowledge on the plant life as we walked around the islands. I was able to sample wild lingon berries, juniper berries, bilberries, chives, spruce sprouts, St. John’s wort, etc. The lunch we had was fantastic, and we all enjoyed a great conversation. By the end of the day, I think the entire group had a brilliant time. 11/10 would tour the area again. Marcus was the best! Next time, I come to Sweden, I’ll be booking a tour with these guys again.

While we loved being in the city, we wanted to venture out into the wilderness of Sweden and we did just that! Our guide Daniel was super knowledgeable and we enjoyed his humor! There was only one other person that did the tour besides my husband and I, so we did double kayaks and I’m so glad we did. It was nice to be in a small group for this trip. It was a windy, but beautiful day. The paddle was a bit of a challenge due to the wind, but the scenery and adventure was enjoyable and super worth the trip!!

Was a beautiful day to kayak, just a day to be on the water and outdoors. Loved being able to climb and play on a few of the islands. Not really much to learn and we like hearing more about the area. Hard to do on a kayak tour. We enjoyed the time and when we did get a chance to talk to our guide he was very kind. 4 stars we had a van that was kind of trashed, parking break issues, tires, ac did not work, windows sticky and dirty. For the price just expected a little better experience we have done many kayak/ outdoor tours this was a first of having to clean up everything. We did not mind helping just again for the cost it was lacking .

Amazing day kayaking around the most incredibly beautiful scenery. Hard work but we had the perfect day, sun was out, minimal wind. Our guide Andrew was perfect mix of instructive and relaxed. The whole day worked well. And our 12 year enjoyed it, even if I had to do most of the paddling.

This is the best thing I did while visiting Stockholm. It was an amazing experience and our guide, Marcus, was awesome. Wonderful tour with great hosts. Would highly recommemd but just consider that it is definitely a workout. Especially if it is a windy day the waves can be quite high. We did take double kayaks so that was a bit easier. Also the lunch was nice and fun to watch it be cooked over the campfire. Also it was not a full 8 hours of kayaking and a good amount of breaks in between.

Wow! What a beautiful day out in the archipelago. Being on the water was a very relaxing experience. Rostam is a great teacher and guide and is a fun guy to hang out with. Learning how to use a kayak was challenging and fun. The drive to and from Dalarö was scenic. We saw wildlife throughout the day. Thanks for the unforgettable experience!

Sam was calm and collected throughout the entire tour—you feel like you’re in a zen meditation from start to finish. The sea was stunning under the snow, and we slept incredibly well afterward. We loved the sauna, and there’s even a cold plunge if you’re feeling brave. The 670 bus drops you off right at the location.

This crew was fantastic and the experience was the best. They transported us to/from the pickup, fed us a delicious fika snack (after the ice kayaking), provided access to a much-needed sauna, and provided an in-depth history of the archipelago around Sweden. Our guide was fun to be around and created a low-stress environment where everyone had fun (no matter their kayaking proficiency). The cold-weather gear they provided was more than enough to keep us warm (we're from Texas, so not used to the cold!). Definitely recommend this company!

We had such a memorable experience on this kayak tour earlier this month. Our small group had a mix of experience levels, but Karl, our guide, made everyone feel comfortable and confident from the start. His knowledge of the region was incredible, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. We especially loved the Fika break; it was such a cozy touch. Since it was getting chilly, we wore dry suits, which made it possible to hop into the sea after kayaking. What a wild experience! Finishing the day with the sauna and a plunge into the Baltic Sea was the perfect, refreshing ending. Highly recommend this tour. It was truly unforgettable.

My husband and I had an incredibly fun morning kayaking, followed by delicious fika and a hot sauna. Jules was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Great adventure, stunning scenery and enthusiastic guide. I was impressed with the quality of all aspects of the ice kayaking tour today. Our guide was Jules and he catered to both the English speaking and French speaking customers. Despite the freezing icey waters we all managed to stay warm and were rewarded with steaming hot tea and fikka when we returned from our 6km round trip to Vaxholm fortress. Would highly recommend this tour to other able bodied and brave souls 😊😊

Great experience, our driver and kayak guide were helpful and timely, got us to and from all our destinations safely, answered our questions well, and were generally great people to be around. The kayaking was beautiful and went through some very pretty channels, and the sauna + jump into the Baltic experience at the end was unforgettable. I would note that the snacks might not be enough if you get hungry, so best to eat a big breakfast.

I have no words to express what an amazing experience we had. Rohan was a fantastic & patient tour guide. The tour was well worth it and the FIKA was great too. This could not have been any more of a perfect day. Our guide, Sam, was so knowledgeable and calming that our group would have kayaked to the arctic following him. The entire experience was safe, fun and breathtaking. Do not miss plunging yourself into the Baltic Sea once the kayaking is over and really enjoy the sauna!

Joseph D.

I had such a great time with our guide, Sam, who was personable and clearly enjoys what he does. There's extra warm gear there, but I suggest you bring a hat and a towel for the sauna. Be brave - jumping into the cold Baltic feels amazing after being in the sauna! There is a bus stop right in front of the place, and I had a lot of fun taking the ferry back to Stockholm.

We really enjoyed the cruise around the islands of Stockholm. While the boat was quite crowded, everyone did have a seat, though you may need to share a table. The commentary was excellent and very informative. The facilities were clean, and the activity was well organised from start to finish. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing paper towel so passengers could keep the large picture windows free of fog, which made a real difference to the experience. A great way to see the archipelago and learn more about the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very relaxing and fun guide. Got to to see the highlights and learn some fun facts about Stockholm. You get to see a little beyond the city and a cool rock climbing wall.

It was a lovely trip on a traditional wooden boat, very comfortable. Some of the windows were rolled up to let the breeze in, each bench seat had a blanket if you got chilly. Our guide, Ian, was knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. Our captain was steady at the helm. It was a clear day and we could see everything he pointed out. It wasn't overwhelming with information. Definitely a pleasure!

The tour was so informative and very enjoyable. Heide was a great guide and brought a lot of joy to the tour. Our captain gave us a smooth ride, even with the waves that popped up! I would highly recommend this tour!

Jana and Karl led us on a wonderful tour, showcasing the beauty and history of Stockholm's archipelago. Jana brought a fun energy to her tour, which had plenty of interesting facts and amusing anecdotes. The boat was a bit crowded, but arriving early ensured our group could sit together.

We booked for 10:30 am and had a confirmation and there was not a cruise taking off, we had to wait until 1 pm. The cruise was nice blankets provided which we used and loved. They did the speaking in 5 languages which was strange. Speakers were pretty average. It was a pretty day so that was great.

This ride was very peaceful with great scenery and good commentary. There tour was just long enough to see enough of the waterways around Stockholm and get a taste of what the outskirts of the city look like.

This was a very nice boat tour. The host was very knowledgeable and also very fun. It was fun to hear the history of what we were seeing and to see all the lovely houses and cabins along the shore. It rained for part of our tour but did not affect our enjoyment of the trip.

"It was quite enjoyable. The guides provided interesting information of the areas and buildings that we saw along the way. Being bilingual I enjoyed comparing the English and French versions and they were quite similar. "

The green garden, the theater are very nice. Also the description that we heard from headphones gave us good explanation.

Nice way to get to know Stockholm’s canals, historical buildings, spots of famous events (i.e. spot where the ship Vasa sunk) from the water. Seats are comfortable, audio was easy to follow, and it is available in different languages.

The trip was beautiful and interesting. I wish I had signed up for the 2.5 hour cruise to see more. Gunnar, the person who narrated the trip made it really fascinating and fun. He talked about all the sights and history in just the right amount of detail, and was also fun and interactive - but not too much. He was fantastic.

My sister and I had an amazing day with Håkan and his partner in the archipelago. Håkan is a great sailing instructor—patient, knowledgeable, and fun. From start to finish, they created such a welcoming and positive atmosphere. They took us to an island with an old bunker, shared fascinating stories about sailing and shared some of Sweden’s history, and served a delicious traditional three-course lunch. It was the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. Couldn’t recommend it more, an absolute highlight of our trip!

This was an amazing tour of the Archipelago. It was so beautiful and a lovely way to spend a day on the water. Our hosts were very friendly and thoughtful in their preparation of food and snacks. You can help in the sailing as much or as little as you want to. Highly recommend!

The sailboat's captain and owner was very friendly and encouraged the 4 passengers to get to know one another. We stopped near an island to discern the location of ABBA's cottage, and then later stopped at a different island to explore around, swim, and then have an included lunch served on the sailboat. Lunch was lovely in presentation and delicious as well. On the way back, anyone who wanted to was invited to try their hand at sailing. This trip would be especially fun if you were traveling with people you know as it is a full 8 hours on the boat.

"This was a really lovely day. Beautiful scenery, interesting chats -as the captain would say “sailing with friends”! And a seal sighting as a bonus. We were very welcomed and despite me having no sailing experience, I was put immediately at ease and at the helm! Lunch and snacks were very tasty too. Highly recommend."

What a fun experience! Joachim was such a knowledgeable captain, I learned so much about sailing and what it is like to be out on the water. Joachim was calm and patient with us novice sailors as we took a turn at the helm. The trip through the archipelago was customized to the winds and traffic on the water and it was such a unique experience. The scenery was stunning and this was such an impactful way to see the beautiful country of Sweden! This was a truly delightful outing!
