Enjoy a unique tour of Venice with a private gondola ride through the city's enchanting historic center. Experience the canals all to yourself as you discover Venice in an intimate way.

Begin at St. Mark's Basin near the square and weave your way through the charming canals. Choose from tours of two different lengths. For the longer tour, pass through Rio del Palazzo, under the Bridge of Sighs, by the Rio di Santa Maria Formosa and Rio di San Severo and end back where you began.

For the more extended tour, follow the same canals, adding on a ride along the Grand Canal as well. Head back to your departure point to finish your tour.

Know before you go:

• Please note, all gondolas have a maximum capacity of five people, including children
• The length of the tour is about 30 minutes and is along a standard route, which depends on the option chosen
• Please note that it is possible that someone will not be seated in their desired place, due to organizational and weight distribution reasons
• In case of adverse weather or tidal conditions, the length or route of the tour can be subject to change
• The ride is not guided

I’ve traveled a lot, but never really used a guided tour like this one. What an amazing experience Anthony provided for us! Engaging stories, excellent driving, extreme patience, and outstanding wit made our tour an easy way to experience the Scottish Highlands in just a few days. The trip was well-planned in the number, type, and activities available at each site. Loads of fun and even great back up plans when traffic issues required a detour on the third day. We had a delightful ride with Diario. He was so proud of his family’s legacy and we were excited to hear the details of his fathers work. We rode in his family’s 32 year old gondola and he even pointed out his fathers home. It was fun to hear the gondoliers banter while riding the canal. It’s a very quick ride under the bridge of sighs and back again. Time flies when you’re having fun!

We had a very enjoyable gondola ride (one and only as newlyWeds) with our guide. Luckily the weather was perfect and the guide told us interesting facts about the different historically significant buildings along the canal as we passed them. The trip felt like the perfect amount of time for a short afternoon activity after we toured the Basilica and Palace all morning.
